What a fantastic and easy experience we had with Mel, Deanna and their entire team. We started out apprehensive about these big jobs and working through an insurance claim but there were no surprises. Come to find out before his Rockhouse position Mel was an adjuster for many years so he knows in detail what the insurance process involves from both sides. Our initial roof experience was so good that we asked Mel to quote our gutters, exterior painting and board replacement work we kept pushing out. He gave us a fantastic quote and we moved forward with the whole effort. All in all things happened exactly as he said from pricing, insurance, installation, schedule and cleanup. My wife and I agree this was the easiest home improvement project of any size we’ve had in 28 years of home ownership.
Description of Work: Full roof replacement, install gutters, replace rotten siding and paint the entire exterior including a large deck.

Excellent work. Well done. They did all they said they would do and more. I would without question highly recommend them if you need a new roof. Very helpful when it came time to deal with the insurance company. You cannot go wrong with Rock House Roofing!

Steve Griffin and Deanna Fiveash were amazing. They did a video inspection of our roof and walked us through the entire process. The crew was amazing and the clean up superb. We received our warranty paperwork 30 days after the final insurance check was submitted. We have referred them to several friends who have also had great success with them

Great - We lost a lot of shingles in the last storm and hard a huge area of the roof with shingles falling out and sliding down the roof. Rock House gave us the best quote and we had the work done within a week. Landon Koontz did a great job. You cannot tell we had a repair. Our neighbors repair is obvious and does not blend like ours does.

Work is ok. They do not go by the contract they write. I was aware of add-ons. Charged my insurance company over $4500 in fictitious charges, even charged for vent boots which I had purchased. Have several friends needIng new roofs but will not recommend because I really like my friends and don’t want them ripped off! I thought this company was different from all other roofing companies but boy was I wrong!

We are sorry you are not 100% satisfied with your roof. You communicated with one of our representatives on April 30th “They did a wonderful job and I am happy with it. I already have two people coming to look at it who need theirs’s replaced.” Your unhappiness with your roof did not start until we would not let you keep the additional money paid by insurance for Code Items that were installed by Rock House Roofing and Required By Georgia Law.You signed off on your contract that you understood these items would be added. We contacted your insurance company and they told you the items we charged were code items and REQUIRED BY LAW.These items are on the original estimate. It says PWARR – which stands for Paid when Actually Repaired or Replaced.The line for drip edge, states “this item did not exist but is REQUIRED by current building codes” – it shows the exact cost once proof of install is given via photos. June 1st our office manager texted you that she was available to meet Wednesday or Friday, and the owner could come and see you on Friday to discuss your concerns. You responded on June 5th“well it’s Friday and I haven’t heard anything from you regarding meeting.”She replied, apologizing for the miscommunication, we were waiting on you to let us know which day worked best. She then stated she would be glad to meet with you on Monday with the owner to answer your questions. Your roof was paid through insurance. The owner of the company went through the insurance paperwork with you making sure you understood what each line item was, including removing the cost of work we were not doing, interior and tarping, from the total cost owed to Rock House Roofing. In addition to all the above – we gave you a FREE UPGRADE worth approximately $1,000. Your insurance paid for a 3-tab roof and we upgraded you to an architectural shingle at no charge. Not only did we install top of the line shingles (Owens Corning Duration) but our roofing crews are the best in the business and we stand behind their workmanship.
