+ 0 moreOutstanding, workmanship is noticeable better than other granite work I have seen. Craig custom fabricated a granite surround to mount over a whirlpool tub. Three other granite companies said it could not be done. Craig worked at it and made a top that not only looks super elegant, but looks like it was designed that way. He took a cheap builders grade bathroom and made it look like a custom showpiece, saving me huge money. No one else even wanted to attempt the job. His prices are very reasonable for the work. And his skill is a major step above anyone else I have seen. I'm picky and can see seems in our neighbors granite work. I couldn't find a single seem in Craig's work, thought it was one piece until he showed me where he made his cuts. Pretty amazing work!

+ -1 moreCraig came to do the work himself and left other work to deal with my emergency. He was the most helpful and meticulous worker I have ever encountered. He took everything apart, cleaned it all up and put it all back together again, cleaned up and left the place immaculate. Not only that but when I mentioned a problem with my bathroom washbasin he fixed that too. I would thoroughly recommend Craig and Petitt Stone , and should the need ever arise again he will be the first person I call.
Description of Work: My kitchen sink parted company with my granite work surface overnight. It is very difficult to function without a kitchen sink! I called Craig Petitt at 8 am and he was here by 11 am.

Description of Work: I was referred to Craig by my real estate agent, meet with him, he sent me to a warehouse to look at stone in Norcross which is not close to where I live. I picked one out waiting for him to call me back and he never did. Two weeks passed and I called him, he was suppose to come out on a Monday and measure but never did,. Another week passed so I sent him a text, NOTHING. Then I left a voicemail stating that if I did not hear back from him that day I would assume he did not want the business. Nice guy but very unprofessional and disorganized. My kitchen was a small job, I guess it was not worth his time being that he had bigger jobs. I bet a couple of years ago he would have treated me differently. I do not recommend this company! CRAIG JUST CAME OUT TODAY, HIS PHONE WAS STOLEN AND HAD MY NUMBER IN IT. SO WHEN I CALLED HIM HE NEVER GOT THE MESSAGE. TRIED ONE MORE TIME TODAY TO SEE IF HE WANTED THE WORK AND HE CAME RIGHT OUT TODAY TO DO THE TEMPLATE. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE WORK.

+ 0 moreI hired Craig Petitt to fabricate a granite top for a kitchen island I had built. There was a lot of drama getting the island in, but Mr. Petitt was very understanding and patient as we waited for my island guy to come through. He held onto our slab even though he could have sold it many times over. When we were finally ready to have him fabricate and install, he rushed the job so we could have it in for Christmas and installed in on Christmas Eve! Craig is very good at his job. He was always very responsive and friendly in his communications and, best of all, the island top looks fantastic. We really enjoyed working with him and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Petitt Stones fabricated and installed a granite top for my kitchen island. They also resealed the granite my builder installed.
