PC PARAMEDICS

I have used them a couple of times. What happens with them is that they change techs frequently so it really depends on who they are, to say if they do good work or not. The one guy I had done great and another guy did horrible. This time was OK. It took them about a week and 1/2 to figure out the problem. They did not even call me back to tell me what was going on. I would use them again because they are very nearby. I just think they need a little more control over there. They are friendly and they want to do it right. They just do not seem to get it right.

I contacted the company for a part and installation of a color laser printer transfer kit. They indicated they would have to order and it would take 2-3 days to get the part. I gave them 1 week to get the part and an appointment was set. On the appointment date, they called to say the part wasn't in and they would have to reschedule. When I asked why since they had a week to obtain, they finally admitted it was never ordered. The second firm appointment was also canceled and a an "absolute guarantee" third appointment was set. On the date of the "guaranteed" appointment, not only did they not show up but they did not call to inform me nor did they return any of my phone calls that day (or ever). The net result was I did not have use of critical computer equipment for two weeks because of my false reliance on this company keeping its professional obligation.

I was very pleased. They got me up in running and I got my data back.

As always, this company was very responsive, and the representative sent out to my home was thoroughly competent and personable. Overall, a very professional operation, which is much appreciated.

The sign on the building says Computer RX, not PC Paramedics. Sounds fishy. Not only did we loose all our data, but we could have bought a new PC for what they charged (it was more than $200). We would not recommend this company to anyone.

They did a very good job. They were on-time, knowledgeable and personable.

When I discovered the problem, I was able to call & schedule a technician the next day between 11am and 2pm. I received a call at 130pm that he would be an hour late. He did not show up until 630pm. However, once he was there I was very pleased. He tried to remove the virus to no avail. He had to take the computer back to the shop saying he would probably have to reinstall Windows. He called the next day indicating this as the best solution. He discussed with me in layman's terms what had to be done. PC Paramedics had the computer back to me in 3 days, although I had been promised 2. I was impressed that the third day was a Saturday. When the technician arrived he spent a considerable amount of time resetting the various parameters in Windows and Explorer to satisfy my needs. All-in-all. I will use them again if I have other computer problems.

STAFF WAS POLITE AND ON TIME. THEY CAME VERY QUICKLY BOTH TIMES THEY CAME AND THE COMPUTER WORKED FINE AFTERWARDS.
