Description of Work: quality of the job was good and if I was to recommend on that alone, I would have given a solid B+. However, this is the first time in the 3 years I have been using Angies list that I felt unsafe after the work had been done, because the contractor Patricia's painting sent to my house was mentally unstable and I ended up having to contact the police and file a report on overt threats made to me and my family by the painter several days after the work was completed because he said Patricia's painting would not pay him and threatened him when I called and asked they pay him. I am not sure whose story was correct, I just know that I will never do business with this group again. Situation was reported to Angie's list, and I got an initial response promising follow up, but I have yet to get any closure from Angies list either.

Description of Work: I paid $189 for Patricias Painting and contracting to come paint in my house. We confirmed this date on December 2, 2014 that the painting would be done on Tuesday January 6, 2015. |I was to have 2 painters for 3 1/2 hours Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 8am. Not only did they not show up, but they did not respond to the many phone calls I ended up making all day. |I was very disappointed, even today, January 7. I have still not heard from Marc (Martin) Blake or his office secretary, Teressa. |I am expecting to receive my $189.00 back in a refund immediately.

He said his secretary was in the process of contacting everyone to schedule appointments. He wanted to make sure he could schedule his "best" guys for the job. I never heard back from the secretary and have called several times since and left voicemails with no response. How do I get a refund?

+ -1 moreThey called me to set up services and I never heard anything back. I kept getting the same story that the secretary was going to schedule services, but never heard anything. The last few times I have called I was sent straight to voice mail. Nothing was ever scheduled.

Description of Work: I was never contacted by this company. After a week had gone by I called the number on a Sunday and expected to leave a message. Someone answered the phone and took my information down. He assured me that I would be contacted on Monday. It has been a full month and I still have not been contacted.

Martin Blake (owner), came to my home and gave us a free estimate and had great suggestions. He was extremely professional and on-time. His estimate was very competitive. Patricia's Painting performed all the work in a neat and professional manner. They got the job done on-time and on budget, and the quality was excellent. I highly recommend them to everybody. In fact, he will be finish my neighbor's basement this month. Thanks......
