They were great to work with on both projects. We discussed budget, timing and what we were trying to achieve - expanded light and view. There were delays and issues that came up, but they were not directly caused by NGW - they were due to suppliers and weather, things that were out of their control. They were very professional, courteous, and communicative and cleaned up thoroughly after each job. I highly recommend NGW for projects like ours.

The progress went very smooth because I had a lot done. We had windows added across the back of the house so now you can see the mountains everywhere you look. The front door brings in so much more light. I was very pleased with the work done. Thank you North Georgia Replacement Windows & Doors and Infinity Windows & Doors for a great job.

We hired them to replace two window banks at the rear of our house. Sean in sales was knowledgeable and explained the different products they offer and the differences between fiberglass and vinyl windows. We went with fiberglass for durability, even though it costs more. Everyone at the company was professional and great to deal with. There was good communication throughout the project. They did everything - removal, installation, trim and paint work. The start of the project was delayed by a week because they were behind on another project. In addition, there were a couple of delays toward completion that were related to traffic, weather and securing materials from a third-party vendor and though the delays were disappointing, they weren't deal breakers. They cleaned up well when they left. The finished product looks great and we are very happy with our new windows. See attached pictures. Lots more light and view, no more "fog". I would use North Georgia Replacement Windows again.

We ultimately chose another company, but North Georgia was very responsive in the quote process, candid and helpful in its assessment of our needs, and showed a beautiful fiberglass window sample. They also provided three quotes for the doors at various price points based on the ThermaTru line selected (e.g., Classic Collection versus SmoothStar). It was a hard choice, and I'm sure we would have been happy if we chose them.

They are definitely a good company. The workers were great. Great company, great support, great service, great support.

replaced 11 windows in total. only took them one day. Only issue that came up was on the day of installation we were informed that one window had grids (didn't match the others) - we were told that they would still replace the windows and follow up when the correct style was in stock to fix the window. 8 days after the installation, I got a call saying the window without grids was in stock - had it installed the following day in less than 5 minutes. Could not have been happier dealing with North GA Windows.

I've tried to be as fair as possible with my review. They want their customers to be very satisfied which is a good thing. The sales process was good. The price good comparatively speaking. They turned up on time and installed quickly. Unfortunately we were not overly impressed with the latches on the new windows or some of the standard of installation. They were unwilling to help by being unable to get different latches from Vytex, even though Vytex produce other windows and different latches. So check every detail when ordering. As to their literature, they market their 'master installers' yet we had only one master installer on the team who I had to have redo a few windows' caulking due to the mess made by one of the others. This took a few visits because of my unsatisfaction. Now the price was good because the windows use not so good latches and the insect netting is very cheap quality. We had to get them back again to fix small holes and today ive found yet another so I'll be on to them again. Having said that they will resolve your issues (mostly) as they do want to provide good service. I mentioned to the head of installations that it would be helpful if they had someone audit their installs, and he mentioned they should be self auditing. Maybe so but the whole point to an inspection is to have someone else check it rather than those that do the work. We had four windows from power home remodelling group installed and it was all done immaculately and with an extra audit. So if they really do want to get better listen to customers genuine concerns and act accordingly, if not you'll just be mediocre at what you do. Overall I gave a B but it's more like a C+. Photos of bad caulking, insect net and latch shown.

NGRW was the best value for money in the windows. I talked to several other companies and NGRW was best quality windows for price. John Fitzgerald was great at explaining the windows, no sales man talk and made sure we were good with our decision - no high pressure sales tactics like some others. Jonathan and his team came in on the day/time as promised and did good work. We liked that they cleaned up as they went and every night they made sure the site was cleaned up (2 day job). It was a great experience and I recommend them.

I am giving North Georgia Replacement Windows a A+ overall for their work in replacing all my exterior doors. Overall, this service provider is very professional and you can tell that they only do things the right way, which is important when you have a contractor working on your home. The doors they sell are very high quality. They painted and stained all the doors with the exact Sherwin William colors I selected. They replaced large sections of trim around the doors with new trim and rot-free materials. Everything was done to perfection. The crews called ahead of time to schedule installs and showed up on time. The only negative thing I can say about the whole process is the amount of time it took from the day we signed the contract to the day they started the installation. Part of the delay was due to the amount of time it took the door manufacturer to make and ship our doors. But I also suspect that North Georgia Replacement Windows is also a very very busy company due to their excellent reviews. The things I liked most about North Georgia Replacement Windows were 1) the fact that they took interest in learning everything my wife and I wanted to accomplish with the new doors and custom windows, 2) they were able to meet all our expectations of product quality, 3) the work crews were meticulous and made sure the installation and workmanship was perfect. I think the crew's supervisor's quality standards for everything even surpassed my own, which is very comforting when you are making such a large long-term investment in you home. I now have no doubts that all the glowing reviews here on Angie's list for North Georgia Replacement Windows are well deserved. I wish there were more contractors out there that could meet their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking replacement windows or doors.

North Georgia Replacement Windows replaced 5 sliding windows on the rear of my townhouse. The 5 windows were replaced with vinyl windows with low-E. The process was smooth and the customer service has been superb from the sales all the way through every aspect of the process. I'm very pleased with the level of service and customer care by John Fitzgerald, Jake, and the install crew. I would use NGRW again.

This company was a the best choice I have made in a long time. They are very professional, focused on customer needs, and provided an excellent service. My new doors are excellent and well made. I will definitely call on them again when I need a new door or window replaced.

We pay cash for everything, So they gave us quotes for all the window we wanted and guaranteed the quote for as long as it took to save to pay for them. We turned it into 3 different jobs and they honored the original quote. The windows were more expensive than others, but the presentation and quality of the windows were what impressed us, so, we paid a bit more. We love the windows.

Quote was way out of price expectations

From the first day my wife and I met with Sean, the North Georgia rep, it was a great experience all through the process. After doing some homework, NG Window Replacement received very good grades from the very large majority of customers that did business with them. After doing some research on the windows they recommended, they too had great reviews. After making some changes on the number of windows we wanted replaced we agreed on a price which my wife and I thought was fair. It took about 6-7 weeks to manufacture the windows, just as promised. When the windows were about three weeks from arriving we got a call from NG setting up an install date. They said it would take 2-3 days to complete the project. About a week out they confirmed once again. On June 8th they showed up on time with all the windows and a team of five installers. All were very professional, friendly and as it turned out very good at what they do. They took down all the blinds before the install and re-installed all the blinds after the windows were in. All the windows went in with no issues and the teamwork was extraordinary. They all had jobs to do and they went about their business getting it done. After actually installing the windows, their attention to the cladding, caulking and clean-up was above expectations. They were meticulous in everything they did. I would highly recommend NG Window Replacement. The people and their product are outstanding. Thank You NG Windows, you made this major project go seamlessly with no problems.

Came to measure windows at prearranged time. Windows and sliding door were not standard sizes. Provided estimate. Came back a few days after to re-confirm sizes. Order arrived about 3 weeks later. Workers were prompt and courteous. Took the time to remove old windows and doors and install new units. Cleaned up afterwords. Excellent job.

The work went well but they did not provide the type of door I requested and after I complained they researched it but came back to me later and told me they couldn't do any better. The window area of the new doors was much dismissed over the doors they replaced and though they were requested before the work to provide an illustration of the door to be installed they did not provide an illustration. They removed the old doors before showing me the replacement door. I am dissatisfied to this day!

Everything went without a hitch. I met with their salesman and he showed me their product line. Once a price was agreed on a date was set to do the install. They came out and replaced all my windows within 2 days. All professionally installed.
