Glenn was excellent to work with. He was punctual in all of his conversations and work. From the initial conversations he was extremely helpful and even offered me tips on how I test/repair the mower on my own. After doing some troubleshooting I determined it was outside of the scope of what I could handle so he very quickly came out, evaluated the mower, then took it back to his shop for repairs. In short order Glenn had it repaired and gave me all the details around the issues. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Glenn as he was prompt with his work as well as pleasant to speak with and very trustworthy. I will work with Glenn again without a doubt and would recommend anyone who wants quality work done by a trustworthy individual to work with Glenn

it is not worth fixing. I asked if he had a used mower to sell me and he did. Glenn had a used Troy Built mower with the same features as my old Toro that he had just cleaned up and completed all recommended maintenance. He took my old mower in trade and delivered a working mower to my house. It started right up. Cost of two on site visits + "new" mower (including delivery) was just a little more then the local mower repair shop would have charged (labor + parts) if I took my old mower to them. And I had my mower issue resolved 2-3 weeks earlier! Well done Glenn. Thank you.

That guy was good. He's awesome. They come out to the house and do it. Its a little bit expensive but its worth it. I like it because when he came out he did everything. He sharpened the mower and fixed everything. He got it running. If I need to, I'll give him a call.

Took Glenn less than 30 minutes to diagnose, clean, fix my carburetor and replace a low quality spark plug with a Champion one. He came to my house one day earlier than scheduled and did all this while I watched him in my driveway. I had my Toro lawn mower serviced for maintenance by Reels Lawn Mower Repair and Service 3 weeks before it died during my second mowing. Though I had spoken to Reels Lawn Mower Repair and Service 3 days earlier to repair my lawn mower, I had not heard back from them by 4/30/2015, so I contacted Mower Medic. Glenn scheduled a visit for 5/2/2015 but came one day earlier (refreshing to be serviced early rather than forgotten) and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in my driveway with me watching! His rate for his service is very competitive and I would highly, highly recommend him. So much so, that I am posting him on my subdivision's website.

I received a call back the day I called Mower Medic and he set an appointmemt for the following day. He came on time, did a quick assessment, and left with the mower. That was Thursday. Today is Monday and the mower is back! I have used services before that required me to load the mower in my car to get it to and from the shop. This service was great! Prompt, convenient, and competitively priced.

Glen Layfield who is the owner of Mower Medic, I would rate him A++ on all counts. He was professional, responsive, his quality of work was great. Previous owner of my house had left his Craftsman 6.1 HP lawn mower which had starting problem and I was not really sure if i wanted to get it repaired or buy a new one. I searched anyways for lawn mower repair shop on Angies list and called few of them including Mower Medic and too my surprise Mower Medic offered to pick my lawn mower, repair it and deliver it back to my home. I decided to give it a try and when Glen came to my home he told me that he will first check if the mower is worth fixing and if not he will deliver it back to my place free of charge. Additionally he also offered to keep his own lawn mower in case i wanted to mow my grass while he is repairing my mower, which i gladly accepted. I gave it a shot and in few days my mower was fixed and dropped at my place at a convenient time that suited my schedule. He also gave me few service tips on how to maintain my lawn mower. Now this is what I call a 5 star service.

These guys were great. The arrived on time (early, actually), clean and professional. They performed the services I had scheduled efficiently, having all the necessary replacement parts and equipment in their van. The pricing was the same they gave me over the phone, and they left everything cleaned up. I will definitely use them again. Now, they were a little more expensive because they came to my house, but if I factor in my own gas and time to take the equipment to a shop, I came out way ahead.

I like them a lot. They make you feel like family and they did a really good job. I would strongly recommend to other consumers.

My experience with Mower Medic was very good. They were knowledgeable and they worked hard. They actually tried to keep the cost down. He went out and found a used part instead of billing me for a new one. Overall, I was prepared to pay four or five times what it cost me. I was expecting that and he was able to get a used pulley of an E-Bay site and put it on for a reasonable fee and I was done. They were a little longer getting it done than they originally planned, but they saved me lots of money. It's a family-run business so they're a little less formal. They did a great job for me; I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Mower Medic was great, they fixed my lawnmower, I called them one day, I think they were out here two days later and they fixed it the first time, so it was great. They were very prompt, I didn't have to bring my lawnmower anywhere, they just came out here and fixed it, right in my driveway. It works great.

Our rider mower had stopped working. we changed the spark plug and still nothing happened. It was too large for us to drag it to a mower shop. Mower medics came to us, had all necessary parts and tools and got the mower working and in top notch shape. They were pleasant and coureous and knowledgeable about what needed to be done informing us of everything before starting work. we were very pleased with how the work was performed as well as the fact that we did not have to move that mower to their place of business. Would absolutely call them again if any other work needed to be done.

This is the company I've used for years, though it has recently - once again - been bought by a new owner, Glen Layfield. Note to Angie's List: there is a new address for this company. Glen phone is 770-752-0775, He is just as competent and wonderful as the other owners have been. One thing i really like is that he comes to MY house and I don't have to try to lift the mower and get it into my trunk. There was something wrong with one of my drive wheels so Glen loaded my mower up on his trailer to take it home to check it out. Not only did he expertly fix it at a very low cost, he was honest and told me I didn't need the oil changed and just did the service the mower needed. Glen was able to come within a very few days but I'll warn everyone: try to have him service your mower between late fall and spring or you might have to wait til he can get to you.

Called to get my lawn mower repaired... talked to a female on the phone, and she said that her husband has customers in my area and that many had called recently for service... he could stop by when he does service in my area. She said her husband would call that evening... never heard back. I called back the next day and left a message. Finally received a call back from the gentleman, he asked what type of mower I had; I told him; he then said that since I have a push-mower, it's really not worth his time to travel to my area. I live about 10 miles from his location and just 2 1/2 miles from GA400, but he said this was not convenient, and that there are no customers near me (a different story than the conversation the previous day). He then said the price would be about $169.00-$179.00 per hour, and that I surely wouldn't want to pay that. He sounded like he was trying to get out of it. He should list that he only deals with riding mowers and that he won't drive more than 10 miles. Not customer friendly nor do I recommend him.

I have a John Deere riding mower that I use to do my yard and a couple of my neighbors. For no apparent reason, it would not crank after the last time I used it. Mower Medic returned my call propmptly and gave me some ideas of what might be wrong, and how they would go about fixing it. They were couteous and professional. I took a closer look at my mower and was able to correct the problem myself, which turned out to only be a loose connection to one of the safety sensors. So technically speaking, Mower Medic did not actually solve my problem, but none the less, they did help me get to the solution. I feel they would have fixed it at a competitive price had I needed them to. They seemed honest and interested in what was best for me. I now know who I can call for service on my mower.

Were professional and explained what was needed to fix the equipment. Recommended the company to a neighbor who said he was honest about not needing to spend money to fix her lawn mower.
