Mendez Painting is a great guy, great personality, we couldn't quite agree on what needed to be done and he wanted to be pretty aggressive, I had some sheet rock on the ceiling that was coming lose and I wanted them to do that and then paint, but he wanted to just pull of the old tape while I only had 10ft to do and he assured me that the popcorn would never match but he could get it close. I built this whole addition 20 years ago but I had major back surgery so I just wanted someone to come and do it, so we decided not to use him because I figured I could match that up myself. His price was good and his response was good, he called back to follow up and I told him what I did, so he said he could help me in anyway, I should let him know, so I asked him to come back out and we can re-talk some things, because I liked them and I wanted them to come and paint the outside of the house but I never heard back from them. He was reasonable and seemed perfectly capable and said he could do everything, the other bidders were more expensive. Mendez never came back to me but he missed out on a bigger job by not responding. I have been a contractor all my life and I was kind of sucking up to the customer and make them happy.He gave me a good presentation and he had good timing and he also took his shoes off when he came in.He was very good in the beginning and then he just got bad in the end and I was disappointed with him. To not respond in the end is not professional. If he comes back, I would like for him to do the job but I will not call him to beg to do the job.

Gabriel gave us a detailed bid and his team did a great job of prep and clean-up. The job was completed as promised in two days.

Mendez Painting repaired and painted the entire exterior of my house. Gabriel Mendez provided a timely estimate, which I thought was very fair compared to all the quotes I received. Gabriel was very helpful in my choosing the paint color. He was patient with me while I tried several colors. He had great input to this process. He even suggested that we paint the downspouts to match the roof color, which we did. I am very happy with the job the team did. They were on time, and very clean and neat. I would hire them again.

The Mendez team were very friendly and did a great job. The owner is a very nice guy - and takes the job very personally. Best of all, they were careful to close the gates whenever they came in or out of the yard - as we have a lovely dog - and they were one of the only contracted that took the time to close the gate. Not a big issue to most - but it was important to us as the dog is a member of the family and we don't want her running free. The guys were especially considerate about caring for our furniture and other personal items while they painted. The finished product was great. We have used them since and enjoy having them on the property. There was not a drop of paint anywhere out of place. These guys are highly recommended.
