+ -1 moreTERRIBLE - AVOID THIS COMPANY! I had the misfortune of finding this company through Costco's flooring program. They used the absolute worst subcontractors to install our carpet. They showed up at our house nearly 4 hours late, rushed through the job so they could go home, and did the single worst carpet installation I have ever seen. They didn't just install carpet, they left a trail of destruction behind them. They left huge holes in our walls that had to be professionally repaired, cut our baseboards with their knives in about 50 different places, and were so violent when removing the old carpet that they knocked our floorboards loose, got carpet glue on our door casings, and spilled carpet glue on our pavement. And the icing on the cake was that they did a horrible job installing the carpet. The carpet was not pulled taut, but was loose and floppy. They didn't tuck the edges under the baseboards. There were several majorly visible seams. The carpet on the stairs was an absolute mess. There were bubbles and ripples throughout the house. They left sharp edges where you can feel the tack strips poking you when you step on them. Let's just say that when I saw the carpet for the first time, I cried. If you need new carpet, look elsewhere!

+ -1 more!HAD THE COMPANY FINISHED THE JOB ON SCHEDULE AS PLANNED.I WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED.
Description of Work: THE PROLEM IS HAVE MY MONEY AND AFTER A MONTH THE JOB IS NOT FINISHED/ . originally put a deposit on the carpet and vinyl in early July. Loved the selection and the pricel. The carpet was installed late in July. I was so pleased I called Matt,, the manager., to let him know what a greaat job the guys did installing the carpet. The following Monday, they sent their people in to put the vinyl in the kitchen. PROBLEMS. tHE GUYS SHOWED UP WITHOUT THE QUARTER ROUND i';D ALREADY PAID FOR. tHEY DID NOT HAVE A TRANSOM.. i CAN'T COUNT HOW MANY TIMES i'VE TALKED WITH MATT, NICHOLE AND THE OFFICE GIRL IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET THIESE ITEMS INSTALLED. YESTERDAY, I STAYED HOME ALL DAY SO THEY WOULD INSTALL THE DELINQUENT ITEMS AND NO ONE SHOWED UP. i BEGAN CALLING ABOUT 3:30pm, AND SURPRISE,. THE INSTALLATION GUYS WERE OUT ON AND THEY DO NOT TAKE CELL PHONE CALLS FROM WESTCOAT CARPET WHEN THEY ARE OUT ON A JOB.!!! THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHECK IT OUT,AND GET THE GUYS OUT HERE. iMATT, THE MANAGER, WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME BACK KBUT DID HE DID SNOT CALL ME BACK.. I CALLED TWICE MORE, TALKED WITH MATT WHO SAID HE HATED \TO INTERRUPT ME BUT HE HAD TO FAMILIARIZE IMSELF WITH THE PROBLEM...I REMINDED MATT HE PROBLEM IS THE SAME PROBLEM AS ALWAYS. THEY HAVE NOT FINISHED THE JOB. MATT DID NOT CALL ME BACK YESTERDAY.. . I CALLED THE STORE AGAIN, MATT WAS BUSY. I ASK FOR THE OWNER'S NAME BUT WEST COAST'S CARPET POLICY STATES THEY ARE UNABLE TO GIVE OUT THE NAME OWN THE OWNERS. . THIS MORNING, AS I SIT HERE THE QUARTER ROUND HNOR THE TRANSOME (SP) ARE STLL UNSTALLEDL. WHAT I DO KNOW IS I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND WEST COAST CARPET AGAIN. THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND I HAVE A JOB THAT HAS TAKEN APPROXIMATELY 1 MONTH AND IT IS STILL INCOMPLETE. MATT WAS RUDE , INTERUPTED ME AS I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM TO HIM, . I REPEAT THE PROBLEM REQUIRES THE INSTALLATION OF QUARTER ROUND, STAINING THE WOOD AND PUTTING IN THE TRANSOME IN TWO PLACES. I'VE NEVER WRITTEN A LETTER OF COMPLAINT. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE OWNER DOES NOT WANT TO HEAR OF ANY PROBLEM SO THAT IT CAN BE RESOLVED..

+ -1 moreTHEIR PRICE AND QUALITY WAS THE BEST OF THE 3 BIDS I HAD. THE NEW CARPET WAS GREAT. IT STARTED TO GET LUMPS IN IT AFTER 6 MONTHS. THEY FIXED IT. AFTER A YEAR, IT LOOKED TERRIBLE. THEY SENT A CARPET EXPERT WHO FOUND THE CARPET HAD DELAMINATED. THE COMPANY IMMEDIATELY HAD ME SELECT A NEW CARPET. THEY INSTALLED IT AS SOON AS IT ARRIVED FROM THE FACTORY. I WAS NOT CHARGED. THEY ARE SO BUSY, IT TAKES A WHILE TO GET HOLD OF A PERSON TO SPEAK TO.
Description of Work: REMOVED AND REPLACED THE CARPET AND PAD. MOVED FURNITURE BACK INTO THE HOUSE.
