It went very poorly, Phil Woodard collected 50% up front and one job I cancelled, so he was actually paid in more than full, because I had a future job on another house. After 4 months of no shows and excuses, I told him to forget it and hired someone else. During the 4 months the work that was done by his employee damaged as many things as were fixed. Half the tile floor had to be redone and is still not right. All the base boards and some of the walls got stain splattered on them and need to be repainted. Stain was also spilled on my tile floor and my stove. The floors had to be resanded and refinished by another contractor because he did not know what he was doing. Some of the fascia boards that were replaced got painted and some just got primed. All the trim that was removed left damage to the surrounding sheet rock and paint.

In my opinion, Stay Away! He will take your money and hide. My mom is a widow on a fixed income. She still has leaks and no money to fix them. I tried to call him to work something out, even went to his house on Halloween, but he looked me straight in the face and said he be by the next day to return my moms money and never showed or called. I left him a vm said, I understand things can go wrong, but I can't help him if he won't call. He ignored the message.
