I emailed, submitted website requests and called several times to receive a quote and no response.

At this point, he has stopped returning calls or answering emails. We decided to check with the city to see how the permit was going--trying to assume that maybe Jasper was on vacation or in the hospital. Four months after our initial contact with Jasper, the city shows no permit application at all. We wasted our time this spring believing in this contractor. I can't give any review on the quality of his product. I would steer clear if you plan on getting a permit.

Jasper is very professional and responded quickly to get a quote. He presents his estimate on the spot and is open to options that fit your needs. His team came out and got the work done even as it started to rain. They cleaned up the site very well. I haven't seen a nail or screw in the yard where our children play. I highly recommend this company.

The entire project went incredibly well. The finished product turned out better than we had hoped. The workmanship is OUTSTANDING, his crew was highly professional, very courteous, punctual, and took GREAT pride on doing the job correctly. Jasper, and his foreman, Dominic, were VERY responsive to all of our questions and concerns before, during and after the project. When choices needed to be made such as paint color & finishes, type, number and location of light fixtures, location of doors, etc., Jasper, Dominic, the head painter & electrician were all willing to offer their suggestions when asked, but they never tried to impose their will just to make their job easier. In summary, Jasper, Dominic and everyone associated with Innovative Woodworks treated every aspect of our project as if they were working on their own homes. Innovative Woodworks gets my highest recommendation.

Went smoothly without a hitch.

I contacted Innovative Woodworks and I was put on the calendar for the next day. Pete McGuire came out, examined the project, offered a few additional ideas on how to best complete the project and gave me an estimate on the spot. Pete was very thorough, treated me and my home with respect and approached the project in a very consultative way. In the end, I did not choose Innovative Woodworks because I decided to have the painting done by the same company that would screen the porch (a service not provided by Innovative). However, I would absolutely consider hiring this company in the future. Especially if all their employees are as professional and courteous as Pete McGuire.

They're very friendly, They know their trade which is good. They're very honest and I'm pleased with their work.

Start to finish - the experience was pleasant, and Jasper delivered exactly as he said. If weather was an issue (which it was for my concrete patio) Jasper promptly adjusted schedules, kept me apprised of the revised schedule, and delivered as promised.

The process was very smooth and the work was completed in less than a week.

My deck is beautiful! My neighbors have all commented on how nice and well-built it is. The only thing I'd suggest is that they try to manage customer expectations upfront. For example, I was initially told the project would take 4-5 days. But once the deck was built we needed to wait for the steel beams. It was then explained that the deck must be built prior to ordering custom sized beams to go from the concrete in the ground to the bottom of the deck. That made perfect sense to me once explained but it was a bummer because I was expecting for the whole project to be done in 4-5 days.

Jasper came to give the quote; he was not pushy at all and was very clear. What I really liked was that he came back with a very specific itemized plan and affordable price. His was a way better plan and price than the other 2 bids I received. Dominick and crew worked every day quickly and efficiently, always chipper and easy going. They cleaned up every day and were courteous and accommodating. Painters also did a good job - interrupted by the rain, it took a bit longer, and they came back later than I wished, but they did finish and it looks great! I'm no expert, but I feel like we received a quality job from a quality crew.

We recently had a wheelchair bound family member come and live with us and needed a ramp added to our house to make it accessible. It was important to me that the ramp be both functional and an attractive addition to the the front of our home. After getting several quotes and designs, we went with Innovative Woodworks because they provided a plan that met all our needs. The team at innovative woodworks did an amazing job with the ramp. The quality and beauty of the final product far exceeded my expectations. At the same time we had modifications to our deck to remove railings and add lights. The results of this project also exceeded expectations. After the project was complete and fully paid for, we noticed a flaw and called the company to have it corrected. They came out immediately and corrected the problem at no additional cost. I will definitely hire this company for any future projects of this type. The team that was working at my home was professional and courteous. They had wonderful ideas the the results were fabulous.

The work began sooner than estimated. The installers were very professional, cleaned up every day before they left. Asked us about anything they were unsure of and all our expectations were exceeded. I hope to use this company again and would (and have) recommended them.

It took them about three weeks to finish but that included the electrical work and painting. Everything turned out perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I strongly recommend this company. We had begun talking to Jasper at Innovative Woodworks maybe nearly two years ago about building a deck for us. We finally decided to go ahead with the work this spring and were very, very pleased with the work. They worked with us on developing the right design and were patient as we kept changing our mind. When we finally found the right solution and they got to work, the crew was more than professional and did a fabulous job on the screen porch and deck. They were responsive to all of our requests, cleaned up after themselves every day and did a beautiful job building the porch and deck. And even though I suspect their patience might have been wearing a bit thin as a result of our repeated requests as we wound down the project, they never let on to any such feelings and were more than professional in completing some finishing details that weren't in the original scope of work. The crew foreman even walked me through some shortcomings in the painting work and staining work we'd hired someone else to do, including some caulking work that he went ahead and did himself. If you're thinking about building a deck or screen porch, I'm can't imagine you'd find any better choice than Innovative Woodworks.

Saw their ad in Angie's List direct mail piece. Went on their website and requested an appointment for a quote for a screen room. After a couple of days and not hearing from them, I called and was told that the office would call me back immediately to make an appointment. They didn't and haven't called back. Must not need the business.

Initial contact was pleasant and informative. Told us in detail what to expect and we explained what we expected from them. Our project was delayed for 2 months due to both their heavy workload and my vacation. When Mike and Vernon started the project, they stayed on the job until completion and did an excellent job. The finished product is beautiful and I am very proud of it.

Everything was lovely and satisfactory. Everything was very pretty when we were done. The guy was very nice and he worked with us to provide us what we wanted in our price range. We wanted the wood and he told us we could save a lot of money by doing it ourselves, it was very kind of him.

They are excellent. They come on time and clean up after themselves. They work hard. I have no complaints. I am going to use them again next Spring.

The job went great with no surprises.

Very happy with Innovative and the whole process. They are very good at making sure you get exactly what you are expecting and are happy with the job. I really appreciated that they walked us through each step before they started and after they finished to be sure we were fully informed and satisfied. Would recommend them to others in a minute. They even had to make adjustments to the structure after the inspection - they added the additional support posts at no additional costs to us. I had a hard time with the Quality part of the score. Everything they did was top notch and high quality and deserved and A - except the electrical. I wish they would get an electrician that is up to the same high quality standards as the rest of the crew.

Simply awesome. Estimate was $1000 less than a competing contractor. Work was done in one day because they PREPARED ahead of time and showed up ready to do the work. The small touches were obvious.

It went very well. When we first met with Jasper he went with us to look at the house we wanted to copy and gave us the impression that it would not be a problem to do. He also addressed the type of wood to use -- cedar -- and supports to ensure there would not be sagging. We felt he really did understand what we wanted. All the people with his company are employees which we liked -- there is no day labor used. when we made the decision to use his company it took about 3 weeks or so to schedule the work -- In fact they were able to start a few days ahead of schedule. He sent two people -- Mike was the lead and Victor. The first day they worked about 4 hours. When my husband got home and looked at it he did not like what they were doing -- the angle was too steep so he called Jasper and spoke with him. The next day they came back. took apart what they had started and redid it -- the angle went from 30 degrees to 55 degrees .. they checked with us to ensure that was what we wanted and then worked the rest of it that way. They were very nice about it and did go to check the original house we had showed them. They were just glad we mentioned it up front and did not wait until they were done to tell them we were unhappy. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend them to another person. What we asked for was not a standard lattice and they did step up to the task. They left everything clean and took all scrap with them.
