Very good job overall.

I don't have enough space here to tell you what a fantastic person Jean-Claude is and how his business and expertise are top of the line. As you can tell, he basically completely remodeled my dad's whole house - top to bottom, inside and out. And most of the interior colors and accessories were chosen by him. I live 140 miles away and have a full-time job so I relied heavily on Jean-Claude's knowledge to help me. Not only is he a skilled contractor, he has excellent taste in decor. His staff is also top-of-the line. I absolutely could not believe the results. It looked like someone had dropped a brand-new house in place of the existing one. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail! He does exactly what he says he's going to. And if he sees something that needs attention, he will let you know. I would hire this company to to build a new house for me where I live now and pay the extra amount for them to travel.

When I called Jean-Claude for an estimate on the work, he came the next day, a Saturday, and spent two hours with me attempting to find a solution for the leak that would not involve expensive demo and repair. We even drove to the nearby Home Depot to buy concrete to attempt to fix the problem that day. He did not charge me for his time. Unfortunately, the cheap fix did not work, but based upon another estimate (which was much higher than Jean-Claude's) and Jean-Claude's honesty and the other reviews I read on Angie's List, I decided to go with Image Renovations for the repair. They worked all day on a Friday (showed up early) to begin the demolition. Initially, I was worried that the demo of the shower floor would require demo of the shower walls which are also travertine, driving the cost of the repair way up, but Jean-Claude's crew was able to complete the demolition with no damage to either the travertine shower walls or damage to the glass shower walls/door. It turns out that the leak was a good thing, since Jean-Claude's crew discovered that there was no sub-floor underneath the shower, an astounding work of stupidity or laziness that the contractors who flipped the house committed before selling it. The installation of the sub-floor bumped up the cost of the overall job, but Jean-Claude showed my father who was house-sitting for me that day what his crew had discovered and explained the added expense before proceeding. By the end of a very long day, the old floor had been demolished, a new sub-floor installed, new shower pan installed, and slab floor laid. Jean-Claude arranged for his crew to return to lay the tile the following week and on a subsequent day that week to lay the grout, and finally, to send Ricardo to the house through rush hour traffic to apply sealer. The finished shower floor is beautiful, and I am completely happy. Jean-Claude and his crew were entirely responsive and reliable and were always at the house when they said they would be there -- or called me if they were running late. Jean-Claude had a family emergency which resulted in him forgetting to send Ricardo to apply the sealer to the shower floor on the promised day and time but he contacted me as soon as he was able, completely apologetic, and arranged for another time for Ricardo to come to the house. I will be calling Jean-Claude for any future work on the house, and I have already recommended him to my friends.

Jean Claude and his men (Ricardo and Chris) remodeled both our bathrooms. The finished product is outstanding. We are very pleased with Image Renovations. This is a meticulous group; everything was done properly and well. He worked well with other contractors who were in the house at the same time, doing other jobs. Also, as to a glass shower door, he brought in a subcontractor (Joey) who did a very good job. Jean Claude helped us with his knowledge of what is "selling" in the marketplace, as to bathrooms. This helped us decide what needed to be done, as we are getting the house ready to sell. We have an older home, with some unforeseen problems. In each case, Jean Claude showed me the problems and explained the options available to me. Aside from these modifications (which could not have been foreseen when the contract was signed), the bathrooms came in on budget. Jean Claude does not overpromise (a problem we had with another contractor on a different job.) He and his group are hard working and honest. We had an excellent experience with Image Renovations and recommend them for bathroom work without reservation

After a week of hard rain, my newborn daughter's nursery had a water leak. While other companies inspected it and quoted me anywhere from $500 to $1000 to fix, Jean Claude found the source which was a pinhole in an awning. He caulked it with roof compound and REFUSED to take any money from me! Instead all he asked was that I give his assistant a tip for climbing up the ladder to fix it! Image Renovations is the most honest company I have EVER done business with. We will definitely contact him first for any future remodeling projects.

My overall experience with them was fine. They were friendly and helpful.

Jean-Claude and his crew were prompt and efficient doing the work for us. They repaired the stairs to the deck and added posts and other reinforcement under the deck. They also cleaned and painted the deck. Our wood privacy fence had two gates that needed repair--one would not open and the other one did not close. They fixed both gates and cleaned and sealed the fence. The deck and fence now look new!

I couldn't be happier. The quality of the work was excellent. Jean-Claude and his people are meticulous craftsmen; they paid attention to details that I otherwise would not have considered. They are totally reliable; they arrived when they said they would and completely cleaned up the work area at the end of every day. I had purchased the cabinets and layout from a third party and contracted with Jean-Claude for the installation. The third party design was complicated and, as a result, a number of unexpected on-site modifications were required. Jean-Claude was able to quickly and cost-effectively solve these issues. If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would do differently would be to also purchase the cabinets from Jean-Claude.

I have used Image Renovations continuously. I could probably write a book on their professionalism, work ethic, and their quality of work. We are still currently using them. They have great morals. My Dad has a 92 year old neighbor that doesn't drive. The county was driving around and inspecting yards. His truck was sitting out with flat tires, and they wrote him a ticket. This company sent one of their guys over to wash the truck and pump up his flat tires. That was above and beyond what you woule expect anyone to do. There was a hole in one of the fascia boards, and a little bit in the roof. They were repairing it when a squirrell hopped off the roof and just stood there. They spent an hour and a half going through everything to make sure their wasn't a nest with babies in it. They call and show up when they are supposed to. They installed new countertops and asked me what we wanted, they gave me the best for the least amount of money. We allowed them to pick out the tile for the kitchen. I'm amazed with them. They are just fabulous! The owner is also a certified home inspector. Everything that he does is up to inspection.

My home was flooded and after i got everything dry again I called Jean-Claude and took the opportunity to remodel my all house from top to bottom, he did an excellent work even better then my mom house that he did a few months ago, Jean-Claude and his crew are really rare to find these days

I would recommend Jean-Claude to anyone. The work is so professional.

After meeting and not really feel at ease with 3 contractors and decide 1 more for luck so I called Image renovations and set an appointment with Jean-Claude, he came sharp on time, he stayed about 2 hours and listen to me and gave me a lot of ideas and advices, he provide me with a long list of references so I called 8 of his clients and every one of them was really more then satisfied with his work, hes estimate was fair so I decide to hire him, he and hes crew did a fantastic job with the additions that I was dreaming of, I was really surprise with the craftsman job that they did and also taking care of all the small details and leveling everything. Always cleaning the work site at the end of the day living even the materials stacked in order and covered, it was really a pleasure having him on the job every day, he will stop working if I wanted to ask him a question and will explain to me every step of the job, it was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this company to everyone that I know

Jean Claude is an extremely professional man, and so are the two men who work for him. He came right on the dot to see what needed to be done; listened to my floundering around, offered suggestions as to different ways he could do the job, as well as "money saving" ideas, but ultimately left the final decisions to me. He looks you right in the eye and is as honest as the day is long! He came by with the estimate at the exact time that he promised. He knew that I had lined up a couple of other companies for estimates, and told me that when the other companies' representatives came, to feel absolutely free to call him if I felt unsure or confused by anything they suggested. I accepted his estimate, and Jean Claude and his two workers started right on time. I got sort of tickled when they got everything out of the truck because here comes a radio and I thought, "I hope my neighbors don't get bent out of shape! But, they turned in on to some very soft music and ever once turned the music up loud. They all work very well together, never a cross word and Jean Claude works with them as "equals". I am so very impressed not only by the job they did, but by these three very intelligent men that I am already taking with Jean Claude about my next project, which is going to be pretty extensive. I'm sorry that there was not a place on Angie's "grading list" for me to be able to give an "A+" for the entire list. I DOOOOO recommend this company!!

Jean Claude set an appointment to do an estimate. Had to call back to ask me what time/day appt was. He called again about 2 hours before appointment to change time. Got lost on the way and had to call for directions. He refused to discuss composite decking as an option. Wanted to work only in pine and then to polyurethane the entire deck once it was completed. (Polyurethane is not an appropriate outdoor deck sealing method. It will start peeling up and chipping off after a year or so and it will have to be completely sanded and redone. Don't let him do this to your decks!). Had to leave appointment early and was unable to finish measuring and taking notes, indicated he would have to return to finish up. He also explained that he used these amazing nails to put decks together that had rings on them and glue, which would hold them in. When in fact these are standard nail gun deck nails. He indicated he didn't use screws at all. Nails will work their way out over time a lot faster than screws. Please be sure and talk to several other contractors before you let this guy build your deck with pine and with magic nails and then polyurethane all the beauty out of the wood.

Jean Claude and his crew did a fantastic job. His proposal for the project, although not the cheapest, was very reasonably priced and met all our criteria. We removed the original deck ourselves before even looking for a contractor. The new deck is twice as large as the original and includes a flight of stairs. Jean Claude did a fantastic job on the stairs. Rather than have them go straight down two stories, Jean Claude put in a landing and used a grooved board on the actual steps. He also made the stairs wider than a standard flight which gives the stairs a very grand appearance. During installation, Jean Claude and his crew found a large section of rotten wood running along the house. They spent an entire day identifying the extent of the wood rot and replacing it all. The actual deck is very well made and solid. No swaying like our older deck. Jean Claude hand picked the wood for the project and even rejected a number of pieces that were accidentally sent to the job site because they did not meet his criteria.

After having a contractor for 6 weeks and getting frustrated I decide to end his contract and call someone else, and after meeting with 4 other contractors for my good luck I found Jean-Claude and I say luck because he came to my house and made me feel that all these problems where very easy to fix, I had 2 bathrooms / large kitchen / deck / windows and doors / pluming and electrical / paint / siding and roof to be redone and he gave me the best offer + he advised me on a lot of mistakes that other contractors just told me. Jean-Claude was not in a rush and stayed 3 hours with me and my husband answering all our technicals questions, we are from Puerto Rico and that is our first home and finally we had our dream come true, Thank you Jean-Claude for your patience and the very very good job that you done for us, I gave Jean-Claude number to my brother and he is remodeling his entire.

Work began right on schedule with an approximately 25% down payment. Also during the course of the project, the porch was looking so good that we decided to go ahead and paint the whole house (it needed it). The paint job is exceptional - lot's of caulking, repairs to some of the siding (it's the original siding), etc.. Jean-Clae was also able to find someone to re-glaze the windows for us. Work progressed at a steady pace and there was minimal mess. The end result is fantastic. Neighbors continue to stop and ask if they can see the porch. It looks exceptional. I could not recommend Image Renovations more highly - and that's a rare thing to be able to say about a contractor. He's done work for our neighbor as well, repairing the shoddy work that their horrible contractor had executed. We now have him starting a bathroom for us.

The installation process went fine and the workers were competent and courteous. It's always a hassle living through something that takes awhile, but we are happy we did the project. Shortly after completion we found a board that had shrunk too much and called Jean Claude. He came out right away and replaced the board. The post caps they purchased from Home Depot have warped however. My thought is the caps should have been soaked first, but I'm not sure of that.

Jean Claude, Hugo, and Mike were very professional in their work and care of my home. They were thorough and very good about cleaning up at the end of the day. There were several items where they provided service that went above and beyond the estimate and did not charge me for that service. The porch is leak free for the first time in 12 years! One of the things that is of great importance for me when having any type of visitor to my home is the care around my pets (shutting doors, etc.) and these guys went above and beyond in that realm too. It couldn't have been a better experience. As this was my first time really having a contractor do work, I was not well versed in knowing what my responsibility is in reading and understanding the contract. Fortunately, Jean Claude was exceptionally kind and generous in providing the work I needed without penalizing me for my error(s).

The project took about 2 weeks to complete. We had a dumpster in the driveway so they could clean up as they worked. Everyone was very nice and worked steadily to get the job done.

Jean Claude and his helper, Hugo, came when they promised and did excellent work in replacing the porch's supporting posts. They came when promised and did what they said they would do. Also, their price was reasonable.

They were outstanding. Excellent workmanship.

The work was beautiful. He was very professional and timely. He really did a good job cleaning up after himself. I really appreciated that.

HE DID A QUALITY JOB. HE DIDN'T CUT ANY CORNERS. WE WOULD CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN. IT WAS A BIG JOB, 560 SQUARE FOOT.
