It went very smoothly. Although, he and his team take their time to complete the work - they do present an outstanding finish. I really did not mind the time since the project was outdoor.
Description of Work: Jean Claude upgraded my back porch deck. I had a problem with the tiles coming off and water seeping underneath. He and his team removed the tile and immediately spotted the damaged wood and subfloor. He recommended changing them too for safety. He ended up reinforcing the deck, changing all the handrails, substituted the tiles for the better quality trex, renovated the deck stairs and also mounted solar lights on the hand rail pillars.

We scheduled the project to begin the following Friday (approx 8 days out). Jean-Claude indicated that he was working another job and if for some reason that job was delayed it would then in turn delay my start. He indicated that he would let me know on the Wednesday before he was due to start my job if there was any delay or rescheduling requirement. Wednesday came and went and I heard nothing about my project which was scheduled to start in two days. On Thursday I contacted Jean-Claude who then indicated his previous job was delayed and my job would be delayed another week, starting on the following Friday now. No problem. On Friday Jean-Claude and his partner showed up on time to begin the work. They started hanging the backer board. I had completely removed one area of crown molding adjacent to one end of the shower and on the other end I left a longer stretch of the crown molding in place, but only loosely tacked in on one end. I had done this so that it could be easily removed if it was in the way of the tile work on the other end of the shower. Evidently the crown molding was in the way and his helpered pulled it off the wall snapping it and the adjactent crown molding on the other wall in half. When the back board was finished a hole approximately 6 inches in diameter was present in one end of the shower in the corner of the backer board with no intent to fix it. I asked during my quote that a moisture barrier (I supplied) be placed behind the backer board. None was installed. When I questioned this on the day of installation I was told I did not need it. Approximately 4 hours into the job (1pm) Jean-Claude's helper had to leave to run to Home Depot and pick up tile adhesive. I was surprised he did not come prepared with this for a tile job, but ok. Fifteen to twenty minutes after he left Jaun-Claude received a phone call from him saying his truck broke down on the side of the interstate, he was going to have to have it towed. Jean-Claude then told my spouse that he was done for the day and neither of them would be returning (this was at 130pm on Friday, day one of the job!). My spouse asked if they would be back tomorrow since they were originally scheduled to work that weekend. He said no and to tell me he would see me on Monday. My spouse reminded him that due to my work schedule and our agreement that Monday would not work and we had specifically asked for weekends. My spouse asked again about returning the next day (Saturday) since they were already scheduled to work. Jean-Claude now said 'maybe' and if I didn't hear from him that meant he wasn't coming. What?!?! My spouse told him NO, you need to call us either way and let us know your plans going forward, when you will be back etc. We heard nothing. On Monday I was half expecting to see him show up as I had no idea what exactly he was planning. Again, we heard nothing. Finally mid-week I contacted him again and heard back. This time he now told me he would be coming on Friday "Like he originally told my spouse last week". Again, WHAT?!?! We specifically told him to CALL US when he walked out on day one and let us know and that "if you don't hear from me I'm not coming" was not an acceptable way to schedule his next visit. I had not taken the following Friday off from work as I had not heard back from him indicating he would definitely be there. When I told him that I had not planned to be home on Friday and that I had never heard from him regarding the next time he would be by to work, he replied with "your spouse is a liar and you are calling me a liar. I don't work on weekends so there is no way I would have come". WHAT?!?! We specifically hired him because he agreed to work on weekends, starting the job on Friday/Saturday/Sunday!! He then went on to say "I don't work with people who think I am a liar and our contract is no longer valid. You can consider the work I have already done a gift." For the last time... WHAT?!?! The work he had done.... He didn't install a moisture barrier he was suppose to, he installed backer board with a 6" hole in one corner and ripped crown molding off the wall damaging two pieces that now had to be replaced. Thanks for the gift! So.... He might have an A rating, but there is no way I can recommend him. He was great during the estimate phase and punctional on day one, but it ended there. This was not a demanding or high workload project. It was agreed upon to be completed on a Fri/Sat/Sun which he did not do. He walked out halfway during the first day due to his helper's truck breaking down and we never heard back from him. We had to reach out to him multiple times only to be called liars and that he was done. DON'T HIRE HIM.
Description of Work: Found Image Renovations on Angies List with an A rating for tile work. I contacted Jean-Claude for an initial estimate on tiling a newly constructed shower. The shower was a simple 5'x8', shower floor installed and studded walls, just needed the backer board installed on the walls and the walls tiled. Jean-Claude was responsive during the quote/estimate phase and arragned a convenient time to meet me at my home. He asked "good" questions with a high level of detail on how I would like the tile installed and finished. Due to my work schedule I asked if he could handle the projects on weekends only, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, covering one or two weekends as the project dictated. Jean-Claude said that was no problem at all. As promised, within 3 to 4 business days I had a reasonable quote back and decided to move forward and hire him for the project. The honeymoon stopped there!

Jean Claude and his team at Image Renovations did a fantastic job! They really do care about every last detail. Jean Claude kept me informed of all progress and was great about explaining different options and their impacts. Jean Claude is a true perfectionist, and demands the same of his team. They took great care and pride in their work. Jean Claude understood that this was our first major renovation, and worked with us on our special requirements for a handicap bath. We had to not only consider my young son's current needs, but had to try and plan for his future needs. Jean Claude was very accommodating and built a barrier free roll in shower as well as installed a 36" wide pocket door to save us space. This was no small feat as the header in the attic had to be reinforced in order to accomodate the door. He also enlarged the bedroom door and frame to 36" and installed prefinished hardwood in my son's bedroom. Jean Claude and his team were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for any job of any size.
Description of Work: Image Renovations renovated my son's bath from a jack and Jill bath to a single entry handicap bath. This required a compete gut of the existing bath including the removal of the tub and all fixtures. New lighting, floor and wall tile, a pocket door and fixtures were installed along with trim, and a roll under vanity.

Jean-Claude and his team were fantastic: very kind, thorough, and took the time to help us strategize and save money. They were very patient with the multiple unforeseen issues that emerged during the excavation, including a subfloor that turned out to need replacing and several pieces of work by previous contractors that were substandard or even unsafe. We are so grateful to them for discovering and fixing a preexisting major electrical wiring problem that could have triggered a fire! The work is impeccable and we constantly receive compliments on it. Image Renovations is proof that homeowners like us, on a limited budget, don't need a big fancy expensive design firm to undertake a project like this and have it turn out beautifully. Last but not least, Jean-Claude is a true friend to animals and we never had to worry about our four cats during the renovation--doors were always kept closed, etc. We're very glad to have found these guys on Angie's List!

Working with Jean Claude was amazing, His work is absolutely meticulous. He considers every detail of the job and walks the homeowner through every decision. This was our first major home renovation, as well as our first handicap renovation. We talked to numerous contractors before Jean Claude, but he was the first who really understood what we were trying to accomplish, which was to create a handicap bath that didn't look like a "hospital" bath. We had a very small space to work with, so layout was critical. By installing a sliding door, we were able to capitalize on the space, as well as eliminate the nuisance of a double door. This sliding door was no simple task. Jean Claude and his team had to reinforce the header in the wall in order to put. In the door. knowing this door was going in a 10 year olds room, Jean Claude went out of his way to find a super strong track and rollers that would eliminate the risk of the door coming off the track and injuring my son or trapping him inside. We also wanted an open sloped tiled shower with a linear floor drain. Jean Claude was able to get the perfect pitch to the floor so that the special shower chair does not roll, as well as the perfect alignment of the linear drain to make sure there is no standing water. He considered our son as well as his present and future needs in every aspect of the job. Jean Claude and his team are amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone considering any type of renovation.
Description of Work: Jean Claude and his team performed a complete remodel of our son's bathroom to turn it in to a handicap bath. They demolished the bath, removing all of the fixtures, walls, ceiling and floor to the studs. They reworked all the plumbing and electrical to suit our new needs. They then created and tiled a large open handicap shower with a sloped floor and linear drain, a handicap vanity and toilet. They finished off the walls and ceiling beautifully and installed a sliding 36 inch bathroom door (which was no small feat as they had to reinforce the headers in the attic to make it work. They also widened the door to the bedroom to make it handicap accessible and installed a pre-finished hardwood floor in the bedroom.

Jean Claude worked with us to get the bathroom exactly the way I wanted it. Without a doubt, I would use him again. He was very good with communication, and went out of his way to make sure we knew what was going on. He took care to get everything right, and even treated my dogs with love and care.
Description of Work: Jean Claude did a great job remodeling our bathroom. We started with a dingy old bathroom, and now have a new beautiful marble bathroom. Jean Claude did everything from moving the drain to re-tiling the floor and walls to putting in a new entry way from the bath to a bedroom. He cleared out the old stuff (tub, paneling, vanity, and tile). He had to replace studs because of poor workmanship from the original finish on the bath. He framed, dry walled, laid tile, did the tile surround, installed the new tub (including moving the drain)), finished the ceiling, added crown molding, created access panels for plumbing, finished out a closet, and painted the room. The clean up was great, and now my new bathroom looks beautiful.

Overall: The end product was exactly what I wanted, but getting there was not easy. There was a few months lag between our initial estimate with Jean-Claude and when the project actually started due to delays in getting vanities built. During this time, we changed our scope of work. We felt like since there was such a time delay, that we should have sat down with Jean-Claude and discussed the work to be done and gotten a revised quote. We take responsibility for not initiating that, but we did send Jean-Claude an e-mail stating that our scope had changed and asked for a revised quote. We didn't actually get a revised number until each bathroom was completed. If we did this again, we would sit down and talk everything through and get a revised quote upfront. The initial quote was around $8000. The final number was over $14000. I'm not sure we had $6000 worth of changes. At a minimum, we would have priced other contractors had we known the final price would be over $14K. We chose Image Renovations based on the fact that all reviewers had given them "A"'s, but there are other contractors with "A"'s and next time we will choose someone else. Price: We didn't get quotes from different contractors so we don't have anything to compare to. We thought the initial quote was fair and we made multple changes that added to the cost. Some the added costs were reasonable but were not. I had Image Reno install the vanities. The company I purchased the vanities from was going to install them for $450. Jean-Claude said he would install them for $100 each (I assumed $300 for the three pieces plus something extra for a tower we had, so I was guessing $400- $450 total). He actually ended up charging $635. There were additonal charges for bascially everything. The initial quote stated it included installing new bath fixtures, so I assumed if plumbing needed to be moved slightly to install the fixture, it was included in the quote. That wasn't the case. If they moved a pipe or electrcal box for a light even slightly, it was an additional charge. It seemed odd, because if you are remodeling, obviously everything new isn't going to be in the exact same place as the old. Jean-Claude couldn't install one of the shower fixtures so we hired an outside plumber at a cost of over $600. Even though Jean-Claude was the contractor, he completely removed himself from this process. I had to call the store where I bought the fixture and have them recommend a plumber and then I coordinated installation with the plumber. Jean-Claude initally said he would cover up to $200 of the cost, but ended up only deducting $125 from his quote plus charging another $110 for plumbing. I agree he moved a pipe after the plumber left, but considering I paid over $600 to have work done because didn't think his plumber could do it, it just seemed unfair. He did say he installed an exhaust fan at no cost and it wasn't priced separately on the invoice, but I have no way to know if it was built-in to the other costs. Our initial quote was $8,100. Our final cost was $14,200. While we knew we made changes and had additional cost, the extra $6,000 seemed excessive. I estimated about $4000-$4500 of additional cost. Again, I wish I would have gotten a revised detailed quote up-front before he started the work. If he had quoted $14K+ upfront, I would have priced other contractors for comparison. Quality: Overall, the bathrooms look great. The tile work is excellent. I did have a problem with my tub faucet and Jean-Claude had to come back out to correct it. I would say the painting and plumbing were average. They didn't paint a small piece of the wall beside the door frame in the master bathroom and the baseboards have some of the wall color on them so I had to go back and fix both of those areas. They also didn't install new outlets in teven though we specifically talked about them doing that. Instead, when they "finished" I still had exposed wires in the master bathroom at the electrical outlets. I also had to take down a light fixture and tighten the nut on the back to keep the fixture from tilting on the wall. Fortunately, all of these were minor items that I completed myself, but they should have been completed by Image Reno. At the end of the day, the process just wasn't as smooth as we hoped. The lack of communication on the cost was an issue and the fact that there were issues with the tub faucet, a piece of wall left unpainted, wall paint on the baseboards, electrical outlets weren't installed and the poor light installation just left us with the impression that we could have hired a better contractor. Responsiveness: Jean-Claude and his guys were very responsive. He showed up on time for the initial quote and started work when he said they would. He was also prompt with his follow-up. Punctuality: Jean-Claude and his guys were very punctual. Professionalism: Jean-Claude and his guys were professional. They did their best to keep the job site clean and were very polite. I will say they put a lot of effort into making sure the tubs and countertops were level. I really believe they were trying to do a good job, but I had a problem with all of the "add-ons" and the fact some of the finishing touches were left undone.
Description of Work: We had two bathrooms remodeled. This included a complete demo of one bathroom (floor tile, fiberglass insert tub/shower and vanity) and partial demo of a second bathroom (fiberglass insert shower and vanity/mirror). Image Reno installed a new tub, tiled the shower, installed tile wainscoting and installed a new vanity and painted one bathroom and built and installed a drop in tub, tiled the shower, installed a glass enclosure, new vanity, new exhaust fan and painted the second bathroom. Both bathrooms also included installation of new fixtures.

Dear [member name removed] I am so sorry that you was not satisfied with the cost but when the finishing materials that need to be provide by you are not on site and we have to wait for it and when you are not sure of what do you want to have done with the tiles pattern and have three types of borders and keep changing you mind every day about how do you want it for sure it will cost you more because I will not pay out of my pocket the workers when they have to remove and re install wall tiles also when you tell me that you will install 12 x 12 tiles and you provide 3 x 6 and want them install subway style, also I asked you to provide me with the outlets and cover but you never did till the last day and you told me (do not worry I will install them) and now you are complaining that you have exposed wires, as for the vanities yes I had told you that I will install them for $300 but when you provide items that even you did not understand what the supplier delivered and I have to guess which piece goes where and even dimensions where not correct and I have to relocate the plumbing and fix walls that have three angles to fit your vanities and instead of one day job takes three days for sure it will not be at the same cost. I am really sorry that you had to go over your budget. Please accept my best regards Jean-Claude Naoum

From the first contact to the close-out, Jean-Claude and his team maintained the utmost level of communication and professionalism. They arrived each day as scheduled, worked diligently without disruption, and most importantly cleaned up after themselves. Jean-Claude was onsite to oversee (and sometimes assist in) the work being done and he made sure to loop us in on key decision points throughout the process. He was honest and upfront about what we did and did not need, which we appreciated. It's clear he prides himself on customer service. We are pleased with the quality of work and our bathroom looks even better than it did brand new when we moved in. We highly recommend Image Renovations and will certainly keep them in mind for our future home improvement projects.

He and his workers did an excellent job. They arrived each day on time, only missed one half day because of rain and always kept the work area clean and clear. Jean-Claude explained the building process as the work progressed and answered all my questions. He was mindful of keeping my costs down when feasible without compromising quality. They did a great job fitting the old decking with the new. They matched the existing railing with the new perfectly. In the area I planned to keep my rain barrels Jean-Claude put in extra support underneath the deck for the considerable added weight of the collected water. He improved the area under the deck with shelving for storage.I have no complaints or concerns about the work Image Renovations did for me to expand my deck. I highly recommend this company.

Project was started and completed on time. When Jean-Claude realized that it was going to be difficult to frame a level floor in 90 year old house, he sistered joists to lay a flat floor.Jean-Claude did the tile work personally and it is spectatular. No subcontractors were used.
Description of Work: My home is a 1920's era bungalow in the Virginia-Highlands.We took some square footage in our home to add a bathroom. The experience was excellent. Jean-Claude's attention to detail is reflected in his work.My impression is that he was willing to work until we were happy with the end results. Jean-Claude came in on budget. When we were receiving quotes for the project, several contractors were vague about the services and materials that were going to be provided.Jean-Claude stood out in his professional quote for services and worked with us to let us know an exact price for his labor, roughframing, and plumbing. The price for tiles and fixtures was itemized and seperate, and ultimtely my wife and I bought the tiles and fixtures ourselves.
This is the second time I have used this company. The first was to remodel a bathroom. This time we had to go through the planning parts of re-finishing a section of my basement and some general work on fixing a door as well as painting the entire inside of the house. The job went great. There were a couple of hiccups that were no fault of the contractor (materials I ordered were late and my washing machine started leaking water all over the floor one day). These caused delays in the job but the contractor responded extremely well and was still able to finish the job even though there were other jobs they had to work on. I will tell you that they like to check in a couple of times a day to ask questions and make sure you are happy with the work. They let me know up front what kind of surprises we might find when we opened up some walls and they found a cost effective way to fix them. Every remodeling job has some surprises but this time, fortunately, they were not too severe. My fiancee LOVES the way the basement turned out and we both commented on the quality of the painting. I wouldn't have thought that a really good painter made that much of a difference but it really does.
Description of Work: Re-finished a section of basement, repaired water damage to walls, painted interior of house. This included installation of lights and switches.
Our simple "replace the bathroom floor" project on our 1948 bungalow morphed into an entire home renovation, including raising the ridge and 2 storey 10 x 16 stairwell/kitchen addition. Jean-Claude consulted with us from the architectural planning phase through arranging for the various subs (framing, insulation, sheetrock, and roofing), and on to his crew's completion of the house. I especially appreciated how he was able to think creatively, and help us arrive at interesting solutions to potentialy expensive stumbling blocks. While his freely expressed opinions may annoy some people, or architects, I appreciated them, figuring he was the construction expert. He clearly thought some of my ideas were a bit odd, but worked with me to evolve them into something pleasing and buildable. When we changed an item from the original plan, there were no "change fees;" Jean-Claude doesn't mind designing and building as the situation needs (like adding a closet where the architect missed there would be ample space). He always kept cost in mind, and was invaluable in providing advice giving us the best build and finishes for our modest budget. His crews, and subs, were all very nice, clean, respectful men; no foul language, no hanging around doing nothing, and the site was left swept and picked-up every day.The project took several months longer than anticipated, of course, but was well worth the wait. It's more than even the architect imagined. It's now an extremely structurally sound home, interestingly designed, with space well-used, and more storage stuck here and there than we thought possible. Even small details like plumbing and attic vents were placed unobtrusively, and painted to disappear.
Description of Work: Jean-Claude consulted with us from the architectural planning phase. He hired a sub to complete demolition I had begun. They then raised our ridge and framed the upstairs, stairwell/kitchen addition. His crews did the block foundation, and added the supporting footers and piers in the basement; much less expensively than having the framing crew do it. Any structural repairs that were necessary his crews did.A sub did the roofing and gutter work.Image crews did the sheathing and house wrap, siding, and installed the windows and doors.A sub did the exterior painting.Image crews did the plumbing and electrical, passing inspection with no problems.A sub did the insulation work.A sub hung the sheetrock and finished it.A sub installed the HV/ACA sub patched and refinished the floors; and installed new, prefinished hardwood upstairs.Image crews completed the remainder of the house -- all finish carpentry, cabinet installation, custom bookcase and mantle design and construction, appliance installs. Some of this involved custom-sizing and reconstructing old doors, creating mouldings and trims to suit the home's more linear, simple style. We did the interior painting.Having done renos before, I wanted to do my own tiling in the 2 bathrooms and kitchen backsplash. Jean-Claude showed me how he wanted it done, to his standards which were higher then mine, so I learned a lot.Jean-Claude is demanding of his crews, and has a high standard of workmanship. He hires subs only when he feels the job will be done as well he could, but more quickly and for a good value.

The entire experience went very well. We were impressed by Jean-Claude from the time he came out for the initial quote. He had a great sense for what we could do to better utilize and improve upon the bathroom space and he was willing to work within our budget. The Image Renovations team had an extreme attention to detail, fixing a number of issues that existed with our previous bathroom design. The team ensured that we were satisfied with each element of the job before moving on to the next section. I was particularly impressed by Jean-Claude's ability to quickly develop innovative solutions for any problems that he or the Image Renovations team encountered with our major remodelling project. Further, my wife described the Image Renovations team as the most polite and punctual contractors we have ever used. Overall, we were highly impressed with Jean-Claude and the Image Renovations team and will plan to use them again in the future for other home projects. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Image Renovations provided initial design consultation as well as a complete remodel of our entire Master Bathroom. This included demolition, a significant relocation of the old shower and commode (and all associated plumbing), installation of a new tile shower and controls, installation of new floor tiles, replacement of crown molding, drywall rennovations, painting and installation of a chandelier.
They did a great job and worked through some excessively hot days. Jean really took pride in his work and used top quality materials. They showed up on time and kept on the job to finish on schedule. Jean was very fair with pricing for change orders as they occurred and did his best to accomodate our requests. When we have work in the future we plan on using Image Renovations..

Jean-Claude, the owner, was very prompt in arriving at our house to review our potential project and give us a quote. In our process of getting bids on our project, Jean-Claude was the only contractor that came up with solutions to handle a wall partition that we wanted removed. Two of his employees, Ricardo and Eric, did the majority of our job. Eric is also an electrician and discussed at length with me our desires regarding lighting and outlets, etc. Ricardo is an excellent craftsman especially in regards to sheetrock installation, and has a very professional working attitude. The project took 5 weeks and Jean-Claude always kept me in the loop in regards to the project timeline and any changes or problems along the way. He respected and listened to my input. Because of the length of the project and the fact that we were at home during the project, we got to know his employees very well and enjoyed the working relationship with them. They also showed respect for our time and space. They cleaned up nicely everyday and helped us to achieve the kitchen of our dreams.
Description of Work: Kitchen Remodel - gutted whole kitchen, removed wall partition and leveled wall, removed necessary sheetrock and installed new, adjusted electrical network for new plan including additional home run, etc, painted walls, installed crown molding, installed all new appliances, removed window and installed new window including reframing a larger opening, removed all debris from site, extensive electrical work with interior and under cabinet lighting, relocate stove vent, and plumbing work associated with the remodel. Cabinets were installed by separate cabinet installer not affiliated with this contractor. Bedroom - painted walls and trim

Very high level of workmanship, including the design and construction of a new, formal stairway to the deck. Jean Claude was responsive in fixing 3 deck boards that cupped. The painting was done well with good cleanup and minimal spills. The trash container company was delinquent in removing the container. This was not Jean Claude's fault and he kept after them until they performed.

My bathroom looks fantastic as does my kitchen - my friends are amazed at how good the work turned out. I hired Image Renovations to finish a job that was started by another contractor that I fired for poor workmanship and severe lack of professionalism. Image Renovations and Jean Claude were great. I was living in the house and they were flexible around my needs to still be able to live in the house. On one occasion, after they opened up a wall and found leaking pipes left by the previous contractor, they stayed late to fix the problem and make sure I would have running water. During the work I checked in frequently and Jean Claude would explain to me what they were doing and why, as well as share his ideas on how to do some things related to tile. All of his suggestions worked out great! As with any remodel (and per "This Old House) when you start tearing things out you find surprises and need to add this into your budget. My experience was no exception but when these things occurred Jean Claude presented options that were reasonable in cost and minimized the time required to resolve. Thanks for the great work Image Renovations!
Description of Work: Remodeled bathroom and installed new tile, plumbing fixtures, shower doors, lighting, fans, exterior insulation, and drywall. Also replaced kitchen backsplash and electrical wiring, did minor painting, and installed crown molding in a bedroom. Note that I paid Image Renovations for labor while tile and other materials were purchased separately and in addition to what I quoted here.

After the initial estimate, Jean-Claude came to our house to start work on the backsplash. Before beginning the actual install, he realized our existing granite countertops were not level --- off by 1/2" from one side of the kitchen to the other. He counseled us that the work we wanted done would not look good above unlevel counters. Not only did he notify us of the issue immediately, he also rushed to get a granite expert over within a day to make some recommendations as to how fix the issue without harming our countertops! He did all this at no extra charge. A less conscientious person would have just installed backsplash and masked the issue. We ended getting the granite repaired by the original big box retail installer, and rescheduled with Jean-Claude. The backsplash is gorgeous! With all its detail, the tile cuts are perfect. Any time there was a judgment call to be made, like where to place an accent piece in awkward space, Jean-Claude provided multiple options and left the ultimate decision to us. He was very consultative, thorough, ethical, hardworking, and professional. Not only would I recommend them to others, we are using Image Renovations to replace our fireplace facade. They will also be our first call when we are ready to remodel our two baths.
Description of Work: Image Renovations installed a very detailed patterned kitchen backsplash around our entire kitchen. Backsplash included regular 4x4 tiles, pencil tiles, and diamond cutouts for accents.

There was nothing in particular that stood out. He was very upfront as far as what he thought would be a good idea or not a good idea. He was very honest with his opinions.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Image Renovations of Atlanta probably 4 weeks ago for some bathroom and kitchen remodeling and countertops.

I had some cracked and broken tiles that I wanted to be repaired. Jean-Claude came to my home to view the work and give me an estimate. He was Prompt - and rescheduled cheerfully when I asked to change the original appointment. He viewed the work and explained that I could easily perform the repairs myself and provided a detailed explanation of how to do the work. I would gladly recommend him as Professional, knowledgable and helpful. I will call him again for similar work. There was no charge, and he explained that the work was so simple that he did not feel it would be fair to charge me for this type of work. I like an honest and helpful professional.

Jean-Claude and his crew were prompt and courteous, the project was begun and completed on schedule and within the budget. This was a very complex project, which required not only a good deal of planning, but also a quite a bit of "on-the-fly" decision making, and Jean-Claude was great about making sure that both my husband and I were involved every step of the way. We are thrilled with our new stairs!
Description of Work: An unfinished, makeshift staircase between one of our bathrooms and our basement, (a remnant of the previous homeowner's shoddy attempt at a renovation), was replaced with an easily accessible staircase. The staircase was entirely rerouted, which required electrical, plumbing, structural and HVAC expertise.
