Offers a good service but not exactly what we were looking for. Is more adept at teaching and helping clients to become organized, rather than doing an organizing service for a client who is already very organized but (because of work or other demands) needs to leverage another service provider's time to do the initial work. No beef with this company. But wouldn't use again.

I wanted help with my pantry. First, they sent a closet organizer out but I think they misunderstood what I wanted. They then sent a second person who was more qualified for the pantry work. It is still in good shape! I would say the experience went well. I was glad I had purchased it and the pricing was right on target.

The lady worked on a couple of rooms and I was pleased. The worked turned out to be better than what I could have done on my own. She persuaded me to discard items that had no further use and only created clutter. She was sensitive and caring in the way she finally convinced me to donate those items. It turned out well that I was able to provide a larger area for my mother to have her own personal space. I didn't have to pay further than the price of the deal.

Even though this gentleman hired me to help him in his office space, I found him difficult to work with as he didn't want to part with much. He was not easy to work with so I'm not surprised that after 1 1|/2 years, he decided to write about us working together. It was just what I needed. The price was more than I would normally spend on something like this but I badly needed this service and found ultimately the money was well spent. I had been trying to declutter and organize my home office forever on my on and kept putting it off. Having completed this one thing on my to do list was money well spent. Ms. Ruth helps you accomplish this in an organized manner with complete productivity leaving you feeling empowered and encouraged to tackle more areas of your home. Thanks Ruth.
Description of Work: She help declutter and organize my home office. It was 4 hours of good old fashion keep throw away and donate modality. It was not a HGTV home makeover where you leave your house and return to a room with all new furniture and whole new room color because that would be way more than 260.00. But because you can now see what you have and what you need, you can accomplish your own home makeover on your own. I was afraid I would be forced to get rid of items I was not ready to part with but it was not like that I remained in full control and I was able to make those decisions myself which was very important to me.

It turned out really well. I was able to set the appointment when I wanted to. She was very helpful and I was satisfied with what she did. I needed more time with her and she gave me the time we agreed to. She was great. She was very efficient and achieved her goal helping me organize the garage. I gave her a tip too.

The service went well, but the whole ordeal was too much for me. She was a little strict, and I was not ready for that.

she came and did not seem to be helpful. told me my basement was full of things but organized. I have since done a lot myself but would have liked some help.

When I left (deleted member name) house I was pleased with our decision. She showed me the basement & it was filled with things she said she didn't want to get rid of. We went from section to section & I told her that I was impressed with the way the whole basement was organized. There didn't seem to be much I could do for her. Her husband came home, we sat & talked & it was agreed that there wasn't much I could do to help her as she didn't want to move things out of the basement. I left only charging her for the one hour as opposed to the four hours minimum I usually charge. I left thinking they were both pleased with our decision. I'm sorry to read that after nine months ( I was at her home on Sept. 23, 2012) she decided to write this negative note. It is certainly different from my impression of our meeting. Ruth

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it went really well. They got a lot done and I really like that the lady who came out did not advise me to buy a lot of new things to help me get organized. She helped me use what we already had; that was very helpful. She took all of the things that I was getting rid of and donated them for me. I got a receipt, which was very nice.

I afraid this note written by the member is not about me. I charge more than $ 50.for my 4 hour minimum per job fee nor is she written on my date calendar. which shows every job I've had this year. I keep all my calendars for the past 11 years so I know she's mistaken. It was a good experience, I was hoping to get every room in tip to top condition, but in her and wife's opinion the rooms were fine. She was very willing to dive right in, was a good listener, offered her feedback if asked and had nice personality. She was very candid with me and I appreciated here feedback. She had some good organizing tips that didn't cost me a dine to implement. I would buy her services again, if my house gets really messy.
Description of Work: The Professional Organizer came to my house and showed me pics of other houses that she had tremendous success with. When you she saw my once, she asked why I hired because my relatively organized for having 12 month old. I appreciated her candor, then showed her areas that we could work on. They helped organize my cabinets, kitchen and few other rooms. She did the best organizing job for a house that was not that bad.

I called to get an estimate to give my daughter a Christmas Gift which was going to be having her closet organized. Ruth responded to my initial email right away. She happened to have a cancellation so she was able to come the next day after we spoke which was great! She came right in and got busy. She was very easy to work with and very efficient. The transformation was amazing and I am sure we will use her again in the future.

Ruth came out for the Kitchen job. We started on one side of the room and wored our way through cabinets and drawers to the otherside of the room. Ruth staged the items for me to make decisions. She offered suggestions, kept me moving forward, and handled the items I wished to donate. She was great to work with and made the process much more enjoyable then it would have been otherwise. In my office I had piles of papers. We followed the same basic process with the addition of shred piles and recycle piles. She was a great help.
Description of Work: I had Ruth out to help me with 2 big organizing tasks; my kitchen and office. The kitchen was done as part of the big deal. I asked her back to help me with the office. In both cases we worked hard and completed the task. Ruth was excellent at keeping me on task and moving forward. She had many helpful suggestions that I used. Even now, a year later, I am still benefitting from our work together. It has been easy to maintain. I highly recommend her services.

She was very nice and very professional. However, her approach did not engage me and her suggestions were common sense things that I had tried in the past. She is very nice and, again, very professional in her handling of the business and the client, but she left me cold. She could mesh beautifully with a different personality than mine.
Description of Work: The plan was to help me come up with and implement a plan for organizing and addressing accumulated paperwork in my office.

The house was totally different when we were finished. Ruth has an excellent attitude, and a ton of energy! She even takes things to resale shops for you. Letting these things pile up was a major fault of mine. I agree heartily with another review: and quot;4 hours of organization of master bathroom surfaces and storage areas. It was the best investment in and quot;me' that I could have ever made. Ruth helped to focus my efforts to 'de-clutterand quot; my life, one room at a time. My bad habit of procrastination only made the task of getting started overwhelming. Ruth managed to keep me on task and when I strayed, she always redirected me back to the matter at hand. In the short period of time, she not only motivated me to start what seemed to be a daunting task but also encouraged me throughout the process. I felt a great sense of accomplishment and could actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. Description of Work: I used Ruth three times in May, 2012. She did an EXCELLENT job of helping me sort through things, and then organize them, room by room. 1. Sorting: what to keep, what to throw away, and what to give away. 2. Deciding what rooms to put things in, arranging things in cabinets, drawers, etc. 3. Ruth did such an amazing job. She has such a positive attitude and tons of energy. She helped me breeze through what was an overwhelming task for me and made the project fun. I can't believe just how much stuff I got rid of and for the next few weeks I would just open my closet door and stand there, amazed by how well organized it is. She has a great technique and and quot;can-doand quot; attitude that helps you get the job done, and has some great organization tips she shared with me as well. I will definitely call her in the future to help me with other projects!!!
Description of Work: She helped me organize the closet in my master bedroom, the hallway linen closet, master bathroom storage/cabinets and a chest of drawers. We did clutter cleaning and overall organization.

She came in and showed examples of things she had done in the past and we discussed where I would get the most benefit from her time. She was helpful in getting me to recognize how I used things in my office, where to put things that would be most beneficial for future use, and what to throw away.
