After 13 months of trying to have our Mac returned to us from the Geek Stop we still have not recovered it. The $800.00 newly-refurbished Mac was dropped off for simple diagnostic work. When I returned to collect the laptop I was told the screen had been broken while it was being worked on and a new screen had been ordered for it. As we were in the process of relocating out of state I asked how the laptop would be returned. This is when I was told it would be shipped to us. I provided our new address where the laptop was to be returned and 13 months later they've not only failed to return it but they have flatly refused to answer our letters or return our calls. I was able to speak with the husband once; the man who 'accidentally broke the screen.' He told me his wife was, "...out until Monday, but [he would] have her call [me] back on Monday." Still, no returned call. No money is due this company and no liens against the equipment exist. They've literally STOLLEN our Mac by refusing to return it. Absolutely audacious. DO NOT TRUST THESE SEEMINGLY NICE PEOPLE. (Obviously, because they STOLE our laptop we don't like leaving them even one star but as everyone knows at least one star is required in order to leave feedback. :(:(:(

Terrible service with lack of knowledge.
Description of Work: I called geek stop for assistance, they sent someone to our home with no MAC experience who deleted files and left my son in tears. Terrible service and company doesn't understand customer service. They do not take responsibility for their actions. Would never use again.

We need to contact the manufacturer before proceeding further.
Description of Work: We brought in our desktop as it had stopped working following a lightning strike. After hearing the symptoms and taking a quick look at the unit we were advised to contact the manufacturer as the unit is less than a year old and still under warranty. We were not charged anything for the advice and will definitely go back there to have any follow up work performed. They saved us a lot of money and were friendly to boot.

They are very personable, knowledgeable and most of all very friendly. They knew exactly what the problem was and had it back within two days. I will use them again in the future. The price was about half the price of Geek Squad so I'd say it was pretty good.
