Description of Work: My fridge stopped cooling so I called AAR for diagnosis. The technician suggested where the problem was, gave repair estimate, and answered my questions that helped me make a decision to purchase a new fridge. I appreciate that he helped me get informed about the issues so I could make a decision.

Description of Work: Needed heating element replaced. Part only cost $45. Took all of 10 minutes and payed $155. I asked what hourly labor was and was told it is flat rate. They did respond quickly and came within the time estimated but very pricey. You can find do it yourself directions on internet if your dryer stops heating. I could have done this myself and I am 60 yr old woman.

Description of Work: To begin with, the person scheduling the appointment was very professional and easily answered all my questions so we were not surprised that the technician was on time, professional in both his appearance and in his interactions with us and that he quickly identified the problem with our inoperable washing machine and fixed it quickly. We thought the price was very reasonable, made even more so because we took advange of the Angie's List coupon on the Appliance Master page. We will certainly use them again for any future appliance repairs.

After calling the manufacturer and being quoted a high price as well as having them try to sell me a warranty for what should have been working in the first place, I contacted Angie's List and found this Appliance Repair company. They were able to come the same day, the repair person was great - courteous, helpful, kind, got the job done quickly - explained my options and why he recommended what he thought was the best choice of repair. Very happy with the experience, and the price.

Description of Work: The part that protects the compressor from overheating / shorting broke. The technician described that this part performed it's intended duty in protecting the compressor. He described how we should let the fridge cool for 24 hours, then let then ice make make ice, and then begin using it.

Description of Work: I have an issue with my gas stove. They came over looked at the stove said it needed a certain part and they would call me when the part came in. They then requested a check for $50.00 for the service call.
