Everything went great. They made sure the job was totally complete and up to a very high standard. The gentleman who provided our quote was always on top of the project and made sure that anything I requested fixed was done right away.

We have been using Earthly Matters for several years and are never disappointed. They are always professional, friendly and nice. Never late, never tardy, never slacking off. They do a very good job whatever the job entails and at very reasonable prices. I cannot say enough good things about this company and its employees. Their interior work is impressive, their exterior work equally so. The horror stories we've heard, the horror stories we could tell on other contractors makes us feel blessed to have found Earthly Matters!

After the completion of the work I noticed that an approximate 75 foot wide and 10 foot high section of wall had not been done in the manner the contractor's proposal had specified namely: 1)"have all surface cracks and nail holes properly filled, 2) "scrape and sand all loose and flaking paint before we spot prime." The section of wall in question had simply not had this work done. Loose paint had simply been painted over and cracks and nail holes had been left unfilled. After noticing this I called the contractor's salesman Jim Riddle who came to the house, agreed with me that there was a problem and promised to get it corrected. The next week 3 men showed up at 6PM, proceeded to spray some primer over some of the loose paint and asked me where the left-over paint was. I replied that their prep work was insufficient. They agreed with me,but said they hadn't the time nor the supplies to do the job properly and so they left. Upon being told of this the salesman Jim said he would bring an "expert" from his company to look at the problem. A couple days later Jim arrived with the expert who agreed that the job needed correcting. A few days after that Jim called and said, "I could use some experience painting in view of my job so I'll do the work myself." After that I spent about 6 hours doing prep work. Jim joined me later and we spent about 2 hours applying a finish coat. And so it turned out that Jim, a 70 year old man facing spinal surgery 2 days later, felt compelled out of embarrassment to do what his company refused to do! Kudos to Jim for being a stand-up guy. (full disclosure, I'm 72.)

This job was performed for my mother-in-law Ruth. She can't say enough about how pleased and satisfied she is for the excellent job Daniel Hernandez and his team did on her home repair and painting. She will definitely call them again and will also recommend Earthly Matters to her friends. Thank you for a job well done!

Jim Riddle was my project manager that quoted project and daily came by to monitor progress of crew. Miguel was leader of a 3 man crew that did the work. My house is 3 sides brick with dental molding at the eaves around entire house and siding/trim in back. It had been too long since the last painting so there was plenty of prep work, scraping and wood replacement with PVC that will not rot in the future. Side bases at garage doors and entry door had extensive wood rot and was replaced. All wood repair looks great and I am glad to know it is now PVC that will not give me a problem in the future. Caulking around windows and doors done very well. The entire house looks so fresh and nice. I would use them again and again and would recommend to anyone. Quote was on the target and they do not require a deposit for materials up front which many others do. Project took 2 1/2 days and they cleaned up very nicely. Crew is very courteous, professional and pleasant to work with!

Outstanding service and quality, their representatives are their BEST asset, but the speed and great work leave a lasting impression, too. Talented, experienced painters. I asked them to add caulking where front door meets molding and they went above and beyond to make it work. Look forward to future projects with Earthly Matters.

The estimator was punctual and nice and knew his stuff. He pointed out problems in the wood that needed to be addressed. He said it would cost around 3500 and promised me a detailed estimate in the next three to four days. I was very impressed and had planned on hiring them once I got the written estimate. However, the estimate never showed up - I called twice to ask for it. Once I got a response that the estimate was delayed because they were backed up, the second time - no response. I got delayed on my project by a couple of weeks just waiting for these guys. Rather unprofessional, they could have just told me that they are unwilling or not interested.

These guys were great. Easy to work with. Prompt polite, and they did the job they were contracted for. I have had an experience where I wanted rotten wood replaced and the company that I will not name just painted over it, and I didn't notice until much later. That is not these guys. They did everything I wanted.

They were great. They were particularly good, on time, did what they said they were going to do, and sacrifice. It turned out very nice.

Simply put, they did an outstanding job! They were the lowest bidder of the three bids we obtained, but we chose them based not on the cost but, the thoroughness of the proposal and the substance of the reviews they had received from Angie's List and Kudzu. Their performance exceeded our expectations. Jim Riddle was our project manager and Daniel Hernandez the crew site leader. Both were outstanding. Jim was on site every day ( the work took five days to complete, as they had projected, with crews of 3 to 6 people per day) and was always reachable through his cell. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and always responded to our requests or questions with a positive "can-do" attitude. Earthly Matters emphasizes its customer service as well as the quality of its painting and Jim and Daniel made sure they delivered on these commitments. Communication was first rate. Not only was the end result outstanding, but the process they followed was also impressive. The preparation was excellent, and their was frequent communication as to what they were doing, were planning to do and any input/questions we had along the way were addressed promptly. The crew worked hard for about 10 hours a day and clean-up on a daily basis was just as promised. To restate, they simply did an outstanding job.

.Patti arranged everything & was very professional. Elmer was on top of things at all times. Elmer & his men did an excellent job & very fast. I definitely will use them again. House looks great!!

Did a great job, very pleased with our "new" kitchen. We will be using them within next few weeks for painting & repairs of home exterior. Pattie Fuller, Project Manager, was very knowledgeable, especially about new products on the market and made some very good suggestions for us. Some that saved us a lot of money. This company has also been used by several family members, all whom were completely satisfied. We will definitely be referring them to other family members and also to our friends. We highly recommend that you give this company an opportunity to come out to do proposal for work needed on your home. You'll find that their pricing is also very reasonable and in line with other companies..

Everything went extremely well. Patrick the estimator was spot on the money. We used a coupon from Angies list for a small discount. Everyone was extremely professional. William, the painting supervisor was polite and exactly what I expected. Earthly Matters had painted the community clubhouse across the street. I looked them up on Angies List and fount great reviews. Thank you Angies List.

Great job by Patti, Gaspar and crew. Got everything done in three days including a fair number of repairs to window frames. Matched colors as required by HOA. Very professional. Highly recommended. Would hire again in an instant.

Our experience with Earthly Matters was very positive. Their bid was in line with most of the others we received, but we decided to go with them based on the positive comments on Angie's List. We were not disappointed! Patti, the project manager, was very thorough and easy to work with. The crew members were friendly, professional, and competent. The entire project was completed in five days. We definitely recommend them.

Patti was amazing. Very quick responses to emails and got us our quote the same day as the first site visit. Patti introduced the crew personally the first day and we reviewed problem areas with her and head of the crew. Due to rain the second day of work was delayed, but then the crew finished all the painting in a day. Very happy with the job, my house looks amazing.

The did a great job and at a fair price. We had a change in color in the middle of painting the study and they were very easy to do business with. Patty the project manager checked on the progress each day and worked around our schedule. We will use them again for our next project.

Earthly matters installed a new roof and insulation package in my home four years ago. During the ice storm we noticed a leak in our dining area with staining of the ceiling. I called Earthly matters and they had the owner and the roofer at my home in two days. They inspected the area and looked for all possible reasons for the leak and after a complete inspection decided to add a second flashing in a small area that seemed exposed. I was then told to watch for any further leaking after a few rainstorms and then if everything is good call back and they will repaint and repair the ceiling. They never questioned any other work and took total responsibility for the situation. This is a very professional group that I have no problem recommending to anyone. A great expirience.

Brian was very responsive and was able to get the project done in a short time line. He has a can do attitude with the results to show. They worked over the weekend to ensure they were done on time. The quality of the work was great with all the details done properly. Brain was quick to respond to any questions too. I am planning on using them again when we want to finish the house!

They did a great job. They covered a different color and covered 100% - no previous color can be seen. I had used Earthly Matters in 2012 for my exterior. they did a great job with that, so I hired them again for my interior.

Inexperienced with the best technique to remove wallpaper, prepare walls, and paint. Not recommended.

I had used the same paint company for years and was personal friends with the owner. I'm so tempted to tell you who it is. Bottom line it never met my expectations. Loud, messy, never on time, came in to give quote and never came back and even had the workers ask for the check. If we hadn't had a disagreement I would never have be redirected to an excellent company like Earthly Matters. Pat answered all of my detailed questions with ease. The crew was respectful of my home - they removed their shoes or wore shoe covers, were amazingly quiet. Covered all surfaces to protect them. Even walls and carpet. Crew cleaned up everyday and told me when they were leaving and returning. Pat came over everyday and sometimes twice a day to check progress. It was a great experience that exceeded my high expectations.

This is my third project with Earthly Matters. They did interior and exterior painting in a home in Buckhead, and roofing, then interior work in condo when we were down-sizing, and now they have done the exterior of my lake house. I have worked with three different teams of painters. The management and the laborers are very trustworthy and conscientious people. The work and the price is excellent. They have worked with me when selling a home we were in for 20 years when I was very stressed, and they were so kind!

Patti was great and very responsive to our needs. She was the only person from 5 different contractors that actually called to see if I had any questions about the estimate. She was mindful of our schedule and presented a professional and very competitive estimate. The work was completed in 3 days. Each day the crew was good at prepping the house and cleaning up afterwards. My favorite part of their work was the job they did on the front door. They took the time and effort to remove the door off the hinges, sand it down and stain it a beautiful color that we wanted. It looks brand new if not better. We are happy with the results and we will use them in the future to paint the interior.

The salesman was punctual and responsive. However among the three painters only one did quality work. The on site project manager did not provide quality control over the other painters. I had a lot of rework that had to be done the second day. They were very responsive to that and fixed those the second day. The salesman made some excuses that the painters were rushing to get through the job because one room above the chair rail was painted red and that took extra coats. However the second, third and fourth days were equally as disappointing for me as I had to go around the house marking all the areas that needed touched up. They painted over outlets, did not remove some vents prior to painting, put the wrong color on some walls or needed a second coat on other areas. The edges against the trim typically were not well done. They would fix everything if I pointed it out however I don't believe that should be my job. With three previous painters in my 40 years as a homeowner I am accustomed to telling a painter what I want done and paying them at the end and being totally satisfied. This was not that kind of experience. After the fourth day I told them not to come back, that we would do the remaining touch up ourselves. I had paint splatters to scrape up off the wood floor, outlets to clean, door handles to scrape clean, tape and plaster to pick up in my yard where they shook off their paint cloths and areas where I had marked for them to touch up and they missed them. Sometimes when I marked an area to touch up e.g., a light switch where they needed to paint a larger area so that the plate would cover it they just painted over the cover to hide the old paint. At that point I thought it is just better if I fix things myself because they were making the problem worse by half hearted attempts to fix problems. I had recessed can lights that were not put back flush against the ceiling. I had to ask them three times to get out the tall ladder and push it flush. Finally they did. Anyway. As we used Angie's list to select this vendor because of the great reviews I thought it would be useful to post our experience. I would say if you do a change order to get the revision in writing before you proceed because that was an area of difficulty as well. We resolved it, but It it was unnecessary hassle.
