Found our painter! We had all main areas of the inside and entire outside painted. Earthly Matters knows how to deliver. Fair prices, good workmanship and the house looks great. Kept us informed daily on progress and job was finished as promised. Pat visited the job site every day to assure the project was going as planned. We plan to use Earthly Matters again.

Awesome. They were fast and very clean. The workers were friendly, helpful, very courteous and my house looks fantastic.

Project was broken down into two phases because of some construction delays ( earthly matters was not involved or responsible).....so they had to work thru this problem and they did.....Quality work and was responsive to a couple of "touch ups" when all work was completed.....

I would highly recommend this company. Quote was given same day. This was the only company that followed up a week later to see if we had additional questions and to top it off they came in with the best quote. Crew was punctual each day and they did an exceptional job!

Earthly Matters did a great job. We had 3 quotes and they were the lowest. They came when they said they would, worked long hours and were very thorough. Kyle was excellent. He came to address any concerns we had, which were minimal and was very professional and responsive. I have already recommended Earthly Matters to friends and family.

They always do a beautiful job. We have been using them for 17 years. They are clean and neat. The painting is always done in a timely fashion. The painting we had done was completed in about 5 days. They also come out every 4-5 years to do the exterior painting of the house.

Robert Corey was the project manager. They job looks great. He had a team of 3 or 4 here for 2 days working on the rooms. Because of the all of the mudding and repair work, the walls needed drying time. They came back a few days later after the rain had stopped and the deck had time to dry out. They sanded the deck first as it had been stained a few years ago. Javier was in charge of the team that was at my house. He even did a video of the sanding and had it sent to me. He was very professional and patient. I'm not sure he agreed with the few "corrections" I had them make, but he did them without any complaining. They were about 45 minutes late the first day. Javier did call, but the project manager credited me a bit of $ to compensate. He was very apologetic and was not happy about it. I have never had professional painters before, but I will hire them, again. They were great and the work was very well done. Robert and his guys were very easy to work with!

Ritchie has been working with me as a sales person for over 5 years and two different houses now. He and his team have done interior, exterior, pressure washing, staining and wood rot repair. I can't say enough what a great quality they are and how flexible for even the most particular customer!! I LOVE colors and like to change colors almost every room and they have done an amazing job of doing what I want and painting CRISP, CLEAN lines! They are not the least expensive, but are FAR from the most expensive. I find that they are a great value for the quality! They used Quality Sherwin Williams Super Paint at my request and correctly painted each of the rooms the colors I wanted. A really solid company!

I have never had a better experience with a painting company. They are unbelievable...my house looks completely different. Javier and his crew are amazing. From the crown moulding to all of the painting....it is perfect. They spent many hours prepping the areas, then took time to paint all of the areas with NO imperfections. I can't believe it. My friends can't believe it. Even my mom....who could find something wrong with anything (no offense mom) can't believe it. I will hire them again and I will only work with Javier. He did everything he said he would do and his professionalism is unmatched.

This is the second time I have hired Earthly Matters and Pat Winchester to do a paint job at my home and I cannot say enough in praise for the high standards and exceptional work ethic of Pat and his crew. Sergio was the "on-the-job-in-charge" person and he was very accommodating to any request and answered any questions that I had. There was much more prep work to do than was seen upon initial evaluation and though it would have been possible for this crew and Pat to ignore all the "extras", every detail was addressed and the repairs are great. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the final results of our paint job...the house looks great!

It took 2 calls over 3 days to get the estimator to get back with me to schedule an estimate. Then, he didn't show for the appointment, nor did I receive any further contact. I gave them a D instead of an F because the receptionist is so polite. Updated 11/26/12: Scott the owner contacted us, came for an estimate, was polite and professional, apologized for the mishap and assured us that it was not their policy to neglect potential customers. Though we chose a different painting company, his estimate was competitive and he was very knowledgeable.

They did this work years ago and it still looks new! There are no cracks and everything, and I am amazed at their job.

Did not go at all. Not interested in hiring them!

Earthly Matters did an outstanding job on our house. They are very meticulous with their work and extremely professionl. Pat Whitaker was in charge of the entire project and he was great. Gilberto and his crew did a great job on our house. Their walk through process was a good experience as they addressed everything that we had concerns with. Would definitely use them again.

Pat Winchester and the entire crew were very professional, arrived on time and provided us with updates when rain delayed their start date. They worked with us to make our house look better than it has in many years. They protected the plants and driveway, fixed several rotting door sills and pressure washed the patio while they were here. Several years ago we had the same crew paint the interior of the main floor and were very pleased with the results. Both times the crew did a wonderful job. When we need to paint the 2nd floor, we will call them again. The Stevko's

It was an acceptable bid and they charged exactly what they bid. The invoice I received from them was same as the estimate. I had several people to bid and they were more prompt than any of the others that I contacted. The person who gave me the estimate was the person who came and showed the crew what to do. They cleaned up nicely. They were very cordial and very good. I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them. Their price was satisfactory as far as I was concerned. They were here when they said they would be here. It was delayed by one day but they came back and worked on a Saturday and got it done.

We were very satisfied about the work. They were prompt. Their prices were very reasonable.

I had a short-list of two estimates for this job. one from a small company that had done excellent repair work for me but were not a "main-line" painting company and one from Earthly Matters. I chose the latter because of the consistently good reviews on Angies List and the fact that they were a "painting contractor" Otto and his team were punctual, professional and polite. Turned up on time and did an excellent job on the house. we are very pleased and will certainly consider them for our interior work. Pat who gave the quotation and managed the overall work was very good. However, one one note of caution. When I came to pay using the Angie's List 10% discount coupon and my credit card - i was told that there would be four and a half per-cent surcharge for using a credit card (I assiduously collect air-miles). I paid by check, but took it up with the folk at Earthly Matters who promptly resolved the issue. So - my advice is that you ensure that the payment terms on your quotation are absolutely clear

They are fantastic. They do a great job, are on time, and they deliver beyond what they say they will. They even did a few extra things for us. We are very satisfied with their services.

Out of the three painters that I contacted off of Angie's List highly-rated painters for the Cumming, Ga area, Bryan of Earthly Matters was the most responsive. He showed up to perform the first estimate for me the day after I contacted him (I am having his crew paint two of my houses). We scheduled a time to paint based on when we were going to close on the new home and have possession of it. However, Bryan stayed in touch with me that week as he realized his crew would be finished earlier than expected on a prior project. As a result of his schedule opening up and him communicating that to me, and our possession of the home happening a couple of days earlier than expected, Bryan's crew showed up 2 days earlier than planned, and therefore completed the project 2 days earlier than expected. Big big yea!! Bryan was very personable, and listened well to what effects we were trying to accomplish with our painting plan. He proactively provided good suggestions and guidance on the types of paint to use in the various areas (matte vs. gloss) depending on the area's use. He suggested some approaches I would not have thought of, and I am very pleased with the results (for example, using a high gloss paint underneath our kitchen bar to help with foot scuff mark removal, rather than a matte used elsewhere on the walls. Bryan was also open to specialty add-ons, like painting the stark white porcelain tile kitchen surround (yuck!) for me, as I did not want to spend money on replacement tiles there just yet. It came out really good! Bryan's crew chief Sergio (sp? Ser-ee-oh) was thorough and professional. We had a bit of confusion on one morning of the project, because we were doing a complicated bit with 3 different colors in the dining room including up in the trey, and the wrong color went up in the trey ceiling. But Sergio handled it well and calmly... took his time making absolutely sure he understood our color desires before completing the fix, and then completed it well. The trim work throughout the project was done well... very neat painting job by the crew. We are so pleased with our newly painted living areas!!

The estimate was good. They were professional. There were no problems. They were nice and congenial, and they did a thorough job.

It has been a while since I used this service; however, I remember they did very good work. I think the Foremans name was Javier. He arrived exactly on time for the quote, inspected the front of my house (which had a lot of water damage), and explained a few remediation methods to take care of the problem. Based on his recommendation, I chose to replace the existing wood with PVC. Although I was skeptical of using PVC, he reassured me and showed me a few samples. It was very "wood like" and didn't feel cheezy or cheap. He gave me a fair price (quote), which was in the middle of the three I received. Javier's worker showed up on time. Although he didn't speak much english, he did very good work and finished the entire job in two days. At the conclusion of the job, he cleaned everything up, removed all the excess material and even left a can of exterior paint for my use. Overall, I was extremely happy with Javier and Earthly Matters, and will use them in the future.

I like them because they many not be the most inexpensive painters but in painting you get what you pay for. They completely prepared the entire house before they ever opened a can of paint and I have not found a single spatter or drip of paint. It looks really great and they finished when they said they would.

Eric agreed to meet us on Friday morning at 10 AM. My wife and I adjusted our schedules to be there to meet him. Thirty minutes before he was to arrive, he called to say his schedule had been changed and he would not be coming. Rather than get angry with him about blowing off our schedule at the last minute (which had been re-adjusted solely to meet him), I agreed to meet him on Saturday at 9 AM. It was raining hard Saturday morning, so I went down and opened the garage door so he could step out of his car and take a few short steps and be dry. At 8 minutes after 9, he called to say he would be there in 10 minutes, max. At 9:30 (now thirty minutes standing in the garage waiting for him) he still hadn't shown up nor called again to say what happened. At that point, I called Eric and canceled. He didn't apologize or say anything, such as "I'm just down the street, I'll be there in five minutes." I had read great reviews on Angie's List and in Kudzu. I was prepared to give him the job with no competition if the quote felt right. When a company cannot get the first impression right with two tries, when they do not do what they say they will do, I get concerned about not just their punctuality, but the integrity of the entire company. The following Monday, I contacted the company and asked for the owner to call. His name is Scott Riddle. I politely told him that I was going to put up a negative report on Angie's List & Kudzu, and I felt he should know why. So I relayed the story to him. He did apologize. I waited for him to offer to make it right, a common reaction for those who care about what they do, and who care about their reputations. I was prepared to give him that chance. Other than an apology, no offer ever came. Therefore, I cannot recommend Earthly Matters. In fact, I cannot recall encountering a less professional company in many years.

We had used them for painting in the past and that is why I contacted them. They were very down to earth and easy to work with.
