We discussed options and he ordered parts. Dropped the computer off after work on Thursday; parts were supposed to be delivered later that evening. Called Friday for an update and parts were late and delivered on Friday early afternoon. He was able to get everything done and I picked it up around 6:00pm same day.

I am very, very pleased with the service Eric provided. He quickly found and fixed the problems I was having with my old computer and printer. He took the time and was able to explain what he was doing so this 85 year old woman could understand. I will keep his phone number handy to call if have other problems

He removed all of the software and reinstalled it to clear viruses.

Took time to listen to my issues when I made the initial call. Came as scheduled. Recapped issues and I showed the tech our pcs and the network. We have had continuing issue with our laptop not connecting to internet. However all status shows we have a wonderful signal. We have a modem, router, and access pt. After going over those issues, climbing up into attic access, and correcting what he could on the pcs themselves, and network hardware, Eric took time to answer some questions and issues I had with Quicken and Dropbox. I like the way Eric worked with us to narrow down our problems. I plan on using E-Man Computer again and have also recommended him to my husband for a separate business we own.

He knows what he is doing, and he is really good at what he does. He barely charged me anything for the service, and I know now that he thinks I couldn't afford it. Since then, I have been trying to have him assist me with another computer issue I was having recently, and he doesn't even bother returning my calls or e-mails. I am vision impaired, and I feel as though this company discriminated against me. If I couldn't afford this work, than I wouldn't have called him at all.

This was a medium sized job. Many will understand that it is tricky integrating Windows 8 and XP systems in a network, getting each system to file share and talk to printers. I knew the pitfalls and felt, even though I have a modicum of experience as a home office network "administrator." Ha, that's funny because I am self taught and that is dangerous .... I know this, I really wasn't up to the task. In planning for this job I considered the Geek Squad and Dell Computer Installation services. After doing some research I decided against these two services as both of them rated poorly. I then searched Angie's list for locals and found Eric Regan at E-Man Computer Services. All requests for services and subsequent correspondence laying out the service requirements were quickly and professionally addressed. A time and date was set for Eric to come to my house and do the work. He phoned to confirm the appointment, phoned when he was on his way and was exactly on time. Eric got the job done but it took a while as I knew it would. He never lost patience. We ran into a lot of glitches as I expected we would, including a failed power supply in my office host XP machine. Eric repaired the important host computer using parts from one of my other back-ups and restored the function of this important device. I would have been throwing things. Once we got all of the devices onto the network, we again ran into plenty of glitches. Eric remained calm and just tried another option and they always worked out .... maybe taking several, but he found work-arounds, EVERY TIME. This is unique and demonstrates a depth of knowledge about the Microsoft OS that is needed in doing these kinds of jobs. It is essential even in less complex home installations when moving from XP to Windows 8, less so if you are running Windows 7. Pricing. This is on a per job basis. I dind't state a price because that's not fair to Eric. Look, you can hire the Geek Squad and have some guy show up at your home and have to read the instruction manuals (yes, that's what one review said about them). Same things with Dell Installation Services. These guys are contractors. Think Comcast Installers! If you are doing anything, even setting up a home network with more than one computer networked, that involves switching to new operating systems from old and need network integration, file transfer, etc., the job is going to be bigger and more difficult than you think. You can go on the cheap and, based on my knowledge of integrating OSs into a functional network (home or small business), run into all kinds of problems that a less experienced technician will not be able to correct, or you can hire Eric. Just remember, great service comes with a price tag. In my opinion, considering the work Eric did, it was a terrific value. If I had undertaken the job, it would have been a stupendous failure and someone would have had to come in and try to figure out and un-do all the mistakes I would have made. Not easy and will cost a whole lot more on an hourly basis! Go with Eric!

Eric Regan, the owner, provided the services himself. My wife's laptop and my own laptop were barely functioning. I brought the computer's to Eric's office separately. On my computer he ran an anti- virus program, completely tuned all settings and doubled the memory for an additional cost of only $20 plus parts ($60). I had a few setting questions, one major, after I worked with the laptop at home and he answered these promptly by phone and also by email and I was able to make the recommended adjustments. The doubled memory has made a huge difference in the computer's response time. He did the same with my wif'e's laptop. When we brought her computer home, it was a week before she used it and it would not boot up when plugged in. I contacted Eric by email, he made the diagnosis that the battery had run down and after shutting off the computer, plugging it in for a couple of hours, it booted up normally and works perfectly. Eric is pleasant, friendly, obviously highly competent with decades of experience in the IT industry. He is responsive, accommodating and accessible with a prompt response time. Prices are reasonable; one certainly obtains value for the dollar. eMan Computer Service is top notch and I highly recommend Eric with no reservation whatsoever. Very grateful to have him as a resource.

Eric did the work. He set up the appointment and was punctual. He fixed|the problem. The only reason for the B rating is because I called with a|question and he didn't return my call.

Excellent actual repairs exceeded estiment but he made an adjustment to the price to match the estiment. Very happy with all aspects of the service rendered.

EMan Computer Services is a reliable and reputable company. When my computer wouldn't boot up one day, I tried all the things I knew to make it work and then called EMan Computer Services after looking on Angie's List for recommended services. Erik spent time on the phone with me asking questions and making suggestions, and I requested that he come and actually look at the computer to confirm whether the problem was hardware or software related. He made an appointment for the next day and was prompt in arriving, checked the hardware, and confirmed what he had suspected. He told me what I needed to do and offered to return if I needed help with getting the computer hard drive up and running again.

E-Man computer services designed and developed a new website for my company. The owner/designer's name is Eric. He is very professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and easy to work with. He kept all of our appointment times. I also wanted someone local because I felt that at some point it would be much easier to explain what I wanted in person, and to sort of hash out new ideas on paper. We met at his home office, and sure enough, using blank paper as "scratch paper" we came up with new ideas for some of the web pages. He was a delight to work with. The website came together very quickly and the end product was, and is, very satisfactory. Also, he helped design the new company logo. This was not part of the original work order, but he recommended a company that does logo's on the cheap, Craftive (they do them for $150, and they did a nice job). They are inexpensive and do good logos. But prior to my contacting them, Eric came up with a rough design for a logo, and we ended up submitting that one to Craftive for further polishing and finishing. So overall, I can't say enough good things about Eric and E-man Computer Services. The original work contract was for $1,500, which is a GREAT price for a FULL website. I think I have 10 pages PLUS four full photo galleries. And he gave me a 10% discount for being an Angies list customer. So the net cost to me was $1,350. 10 out of 10 stars for him and his company. I called Eric on Saturday and he returned my call Monday morning. I explained the problem my wife was having with her laptop. He gave me some advice and recommendations without being pushy on what he felt I needed. We dropped of the laptop Monday afternoon & it was fixed by Tuesday night! I would definitely recommend Eric & his company! I know we'll call next time we have a problem.

He was very polite and called 15 minutes before our scheduled time to tell me that his last appointment went a little long and he would be 5 to 10 minutes late. He was professional and very knowledgeable and was able to fix our problem within a 1 1/2 hours. We will certainly use him for all our computer service needs. Job well done. Greg C.

Erice came to our office and picked up the infected laptop. He removed the hard drive and tested it. Found mulitple viruses and manually removed. Repaired damaged Windows files. Installed AVG anti-virus software. Performed minor performance tuning and returned to my workplace. DId not compromise any of my important files. All work was performed in a timely mannor. My laptop works better than when I first bought it in 2009! The price quoted over the phone was the actual price I paid! Eric seemed very knowlegeable and did the work as promised. I would highly recommend E-Man Computer Services to anyone with a computer with problems!

I took Eric an older computer which turned out to be unfixable; he charged me only the standard diagnostic fee despite spending significant time with the unit. I then took him a new computer; he transferred all the data and got the new unit set up for me in one day, and at a more than reasonable fee. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the service, communication, and professionalism. This is the second time I've used his services, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Eric's outstanding technical knowledge allowed him to quickly identify the causes of my network problems, and take corrective actions. In some instances, he suggested things that I could do, thereby saving his time and my money. I highly recommend him, and he will be the first one I call the next time I have any computer problems.

Wvwn though he had other appointments and relatives in town he still came over -- got here about 5:30 and proceeded to try to fix it. Bad news when he thought I had a virus and needed to take the computer -- which does not have data on it but has all the programs. So we were going to swap it for my husband's computer so that I could keep working and he had no idea how long it would take to fix. But when he put my husband's computer in the same problem arose. So it was determined that it was either a switch or a cord. He had a long enough cable to connect it to a different switch and it worked. He is honest and reasonable. I probably would have paid 2-3 times that to have my computer back at this time of year but he charged just for the time here. I am glad there are people like him in this world.

Before the day of the service call Eric Regan told me that he expected to be on time. If he anticipated being fifteen minutes early, or fifteen minutes late, he would call and notify me. He arrived punctually on the service day. His manner was courteous and calming, which helped me out as I had clients waiting on my email responses and I was stressed. Again, my computer skills are rudimentary, pretty much just emails, but they are vital to my work. Watching Eric work was very encouraging. There was one bad spot he worked on where he thought he might have to take it into his shop, but "Let's wait and see, there are other things I can do here..." Needless to say he fixed it right there in my office and I've had no trouble since. I've talked with friends since his visit, and they all have said $125.00 for two hours work was more than fair. I agree.

I have used Eric for years as the computer support for my business. I can't even say how many times he swapped computers, installed software and bailed me out of problems. I now use his service where he can log on to my computer from his location, meaning most issues can be resolved over the phone. He is also an excellent Web site developer. As a Board member in our Homeowner Association, I wanted to create a blast-email system that I could monitor, as well as a subdivision Web site to promote the neighborhood.and include a password protected site that only neighbors could use to access to and download covenants, obtain forms, etc. Eric took me through it step by step -- from obtaining the domain name to building in the functionality I needed. We worked as a team on the content, with him patiently educating me along the way. At each of those steps, he provided the lowest-cost and no-cost solutions. I really had no idea how much free functionality is available. He also provided a thorough tutorial on how to manage the site, and was there for (endless) follow-up questions.. He is reasonable and communicates well. He is really great and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and creative. He has been very patient with me with all my questions. He genuinely cares and goes to the nth degree to make sure you know and learn everything.

When I first contacted Eric, he advised he was out of town and to keep me from being without the computer he would be glad to reccommend another tecnician. Well I had already made up my mind from reading reviews and waited an extra day. Boy am I pleased I waited on Eric. The work was completed faster than originally discussed and now I feel my machine is better than ever.
