The guy was very grouchy, charged me extra over and above the "big deal" price and told me they didn't want any more of my business. My system does not work any better. I am going to have to call another provider to get it working better.

They were excellent. They've worked for me several times. What really impressed me, the first time he did some work for me, one of the units was not working properly and another company gave me an estimate and told me that I needed a new unit but I asked for a second opinion form Climate Smith. They said that they could fix it so they fixed it for $100 and it is still working. They were very good and honest, nice people. They do good work.

We woke up to our air conditioner not working properly...as in not working at all. I called ClimateSmith since they have been working on my next door neighbors home for the past few years. I spoke to Jason on the phone and he happened to be in between appointments and was able to come to our home immediately. After arriving and diagnosing the issue (low anti - freeze) he had it filled up and in working order in no time. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I know that we are in need of a new A/C unit eventually, but he did not push the issue with me. (Which ALL companies I have had in the past have done). This makes me really appreciate this small, family owned business. We will use them in the future for all of our maintenance plans and services.

I've been with ClimateSmith since they started in 2009. James and Jason and the crew are always a pleasure to have in the house. They are all just real quality people who do quality work for a fair price. James has coaxed along one of our air conditioning units that has significant age on it, not wanting us to have to replace it until we absolutely had to. You just appreciate people who take a personal interest and try to think like the customer would think. These guys did another quality job today. They were on time, did what they said they would and left everything as it was before they came...no mess...ever. They go about their business and so you can get about yours.

Everything done professionally in a neat and timely manner. New plenums were constructed, all ducts were resealed, flue rebuilt, condensation drainage pump installed, new electrical disconnect box installed; systems tested and cleanup was very neat. Priced nearly $500 below next bidder.
Description of Work: Installed two new 2 ton 13 SEER Lennox air conditioning units and 2 new 65,000 BTU furnaces, one attic and one basement replacing two 35 year old systems.

This past summer the first floor AC unit finally gave up the ghost. We called Climatesmith and John Petty came over right away. He inspected the broken unit and presented a few alternatives. We chose a 2-ton machine. Jason and his helper removed the tired and outdated AC unit and installed the new machine. The 2-man team arrived on time and completed the job in a day. The quoted price covered everything. Jason urged us to contact the City of Alpharetta for a free inspection of their work. The inspector reported to us that the work was extremely well-done and asked for the details of the Climatesmith company since he is asked for suggestions from time to time.
Description of Work: We've used Climatesmith for nearly the past three years for annual maintenance and checkups for our heating and air conditioning. They've installed two new AC units in that time and repaired the gas furnace (all originals with the 25-year old property). The repair jobs were always an emergency and they arrived in less than 24 hours each of the 2-3 times we've called them. They have given us professional and timely advice over this period. Both Jason and James are very friendly, easy to be with yet extremely competent. We're very pleased with Climatesmith -- work quality, prices, sense of responsibility toward us as customers, and genuine friendliness and honesty. We highly recommend them.

I was so impressed with his work and customer service that I will use no one else and will use CLIMATESMITH annually for my maintenance work!!
Description of Work: I selected this company based on a specific referral from a relative.I experienced a major problem with my air conditioning unit during early July 2012 in the midst of 90 to 100 degress temperatures. The unit housed in my attic stopped working. I contacted CLIMATESMITH on July 11 hoping that I could schedule an appointment within several days but knowing that getting service in the midst of a major heat wave would be. extremely challenging. I contacted the company and was able to schedule a house call for the following day at 3pm . Much to my surprise my doorbell rang at 10:30 am on July 12 and there was James Smith from CLIMATESMITH. He had been able to modify his schedule to get to me sooner and I was ecstatic. After evaluating my system he determined that the cooling unit in the attic had seperated from the base and all of my cold air was escaping in the attic. Mr Smith not only resealed the unit but also devised a " sling "support attached to the attic joists to further unify the system. Additionally he retaped and sealed the rest of the unit which also was leaking . Much of the leaking was a direct result of a very poor installation performed when the system was replaced approximately six years earlier. Finally he checked the rest of my system and added two pounds of needed refrigerant. The total repair cost was $220.The results of his work were astounding! I live in a three story town house with what I believe is a very poorly designed air conditioning/heating unit that is housed in the attic. The direct result is that the unit does not effectivelyheat/cool the lower levels. Even after the current unit was installed it never effectively worked well on the main middle level directly below the top bedroom level. Let me tell you after James fixed and resealed the system inconjunction with the addition of the refrigerant, the system works better than when it was replaced. The air conditioning now cools the main mid-level and also reaches the lower basement level!! EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE!!!
