Champion Lawn Care & Landscape

I scheduled a quote for 4/23/14. The associate was 20 minutes late for the appoinment. He inspected the property and told me that he would email a quote on 4/25/14. When I did not receive one by 4/28/14. I called (around 2 pm) and was told that I would receive a quote by the end of the day. Today is 5/13/14 and I am yet to receive a quote. ****Update**** I received a call from the company explaining that they attempted to send the quote via email but had transposed two numbers in the email address. We corrected the email address and the representatve emailed the quote, the quote for monthly lawn maintenence was resonable and we contracted them for service. They are attempting to get service started with in the next few days.

The quote was rather high, they wanted a yearly contract and I just didn't feel good about it. I did find a service provider that was a good price, did not require a yearly contract and the same American, English speaking technician returns every other week!

Being the winter season, there are not a lot of visits, but they have done a great job. We look forward to the coming growing season and having them improve the condition of our lawn and landscaping.

My experience with them was fabulous. They pay attention to details. You can just mention something and if it’s not covered during the initial payment, you can redeposit. We trusted their choices of plants and materials and it worked out perfectly for us. The workers were very friendly and professional.

They performed as requested.

The crew generally showed up late at night around 7 to cut the lawn. They would zip in and zip out very quickly and not do very good work. I ended up cancelling the service 2 months in and had to pay a penalty to do so which I was happy to do.

They did an acceptable job, esp. in terms of punctuality and regularly providing the service. I would not use them in the future because I planted new grass seed in the front yard one spring season. The grass was actually beginning to grow rather nicely, but when they came to cut the yard they cut the new grass so low that it did not survive. I was very dissapointed when this happened and chose to cancel my regular lawn service at that time.

Trimmed several dozen overgrown shrubs and small trees. Disposed of all cuttings. They were patient with my delays being out of town. They offered to defer final payment until I could get home to approve. All in all a pleasant experience.

They were fine. I used them for the entire year of 2012. The price was fair. They had a very high level of professionalism and they were responsive to any issues I had. Their work was good.

They are the best lawn service we have hired. Champion will take care of your yard on a consistent day! Last week, my painters were running late completing exterior painting and I called Champion and Micah moved our service to Saturday. Excellent service with flexibility. We are extremely happy with their service! Thanks Champion!

We are very pleased with the updated front yard. The workers communicated with the homeowner during the process to ensure that pruned trees met our expectations and explained any extra material needs. The project proceeded with professionalism and courtesy. Each day the work area was cleaned and left in an acceptable manner. A one year planting warranty was provided. A few of the smaller plants had a difficult transition and were replaced in a timely manner by Champion. We will use this provider in the near future to improve the landscaping in our pool area.

Very good. All personnel are very polite and respond quickly to requests. It would be nice if I didn't have to bring certain things to their attention (weeds, and the like), but that seems to be the norm for all landscapers. They do respond to request quickly when asked. I would recommend them.

I didn't go with them for the final service. I went with someone else. They didn't take long to give me the quote. I dealt with the owner of the company and he was pretty polite and helpful. I had asked him some suggestions on what I wanted to do with my backyard and he had done a bunch of work around here so he said he will show me some pictures and stuff but after that, I didn't really follow up with him. He was pretty professional about him.

I recently moved to Johns Creek and I saw Champion in the neighborhood several times. I researched the local lawn care providers and they had the most consistent reviews and provided what I thought was a fair price. They visit my house twice per month and I have been pleased so far. I would recommend them if you want no hassle/hands off yard care.

They're awesome and detail oriented. Our last service wouldn't bag clippings, but Champion does; that's made a huge difference in our lawn. When they trim, the shrubbery, they pick up the trimmings by hand. They're also good with special instructions. We are very pleased.

Our lawn had several bare areas due to winter burn. Champion replaced all the damaged areas with new sod, added a french drain to fix an excess water area, and refreshed our beds. The work was done exactly as proposed and on time. We are very pleased with Micah and the Champion team. We also have an annual contract with Champion Lawn Care to take care of our lawn and regularly have them refurbish our beds. The quality of their work is excellent and timely, everything you want from a recurring service provider.

I signed up with them last year and they still do it. I like them because they do everything that they say they will do. They trim the bushes, they edge, and they come on a regular basis (they've never missed). And they are responsive; when I have called them to ask them about other things, they have responded quickly. I haven't have them do anything else but they have responded. The quality of work is very good.

Everything they did was fine but there was really nothing that stood out. They were fairly prompt. They were fairly priced.

I am happy with the work to date. The crew arrives while I'm at work and I come home and my yard is mowed and maintained. Micah has always answered my questions that I've had and addressed my concerns. I would recommend them!

I called Champion and they sent someone out to quote the next day. Scheduled the work to be done within two days. We had just moved into the home. There were leaves and fallen branches everywhere. Our yard was out of control!! The three man crew came out and cleaned up our yard paying close attention to detail. The work was outstanding!! We signed Champion to be our lawn care company every month!

Well, with a little that they missed on clean-up.

Overall, the price that was offered was little more than was willing to spend on lawncare and yard maintenance program, however, they were responsive in responding to my inquiry and dispatching a person from Champion to come and look at my yard and provide a free estimate. The technician which did come out did not arrive on the day they were supposed to review and provide the estimate and it was actually a few days later the review and free estimate was provided. Other than this, the process to get an estimate went well.

My wife thinks the price is a bit high, but I am pleased with the detail or the work performed. I will appreciate this even more when its hot outside and I dont have to tend to the lawn!

We are so very pleased with Micah and his crew. In August, our family member who traded services with us by doing lawncare moved out of town. And taking care of our large, park-like lot got away from us with work load and other happenings. I reluctantly took to interviewing lawn care companies, for the first time for me. Meanwhile, the yard was getting awful and Labor Day weekend had arrived. Micah, who is the owner and head of Champion, answered the phone on the Friday before Labor Day. He was the only lawn care company out of 5 willing to meet me quickly (as in within a week) for a tour of the yard and a quote. Actually, Micah came out that Friday afternoon. I liked his calm, competent, to the point demeanor. He issued a quote quickly on the spot. And, glory, offered to have a crew come out that Labor Day Saturday. Very very very responsive. The monthly price he quoted for service over the next year was doable to me, and I believe it to be fair. When we came home Labor Day Monday, the yard was back to looking neat and cared for. What a relief! They had paid attention to detail and were thorough. There were a couple of minor things he and I discussed by phone (Micah initiated the call to follow up on my satisfaction) that I asked if they could do a certain way on the next trip, and they did perform those things (for example, more extensive cut back of ivy around tree bases). They have been working for me now through 3 visits. They always show up when they are supposed to, without me having to prompt them or follow-up. Low maintenance and competent contractors are a wonderful thing. They do what they are supposed to do, and the yard looks great. I had them come back out this week for a quote for some extra yard work, including building a small hardscape wall around a sloping ornamental bed, laying down some mulch, and removing some significant yard debris. Micah had no qualms sharing his opinion with me that my original idea to create a cutting garden would not likely be successful due to shade in the area. So we talked about options that would be successful. I appreciated the discussion. The quote for the project has arrived after 2 business days, and it is reasonable. I look forward to having this big project completed too. Update: 1 year later: Micah's crew has been caring for our lawn now for a full year. Their service is great. They are completely turn-key for this busy busy family. They just arrive monthly, do their work, and we arrive home with a well-maintained lawn and bushes and beds. I love it.

After contacting Champion on the 10th of July, they set up an appointment for the 12th. Micah Ray and another gentleman came out to look over my yard and really listened to what I needed done. At that time they wrote up an agreement with break down of how much each service would cost. After getting other estimates, I called them back on Monday, 23 July and told them I would like to hire them for the job. They informed me via email, they would be out before noon, Thursday the 26th. The crew, of about 6 guys arrived between 9:30 and 10:00am. After about an hour and half, they had completed the basic work I wanted done, but that's not all, they did more than I expected would be done. My yard, especially the back yard, really looks AWESOME! It hasn't looked this good in a very long time. Champion's prices are very reasonable and they are very professional. I would like to give them an A++. I even called Micah shortly after his crew left to personally thank him for a job well done beyond what I had expected.
