We help homeowner's understand the insurance claims process and their opportunity to use their homeowner's insurance to get a roof replacement if they qualify and have storm damage (wind or hail) to their roof. If a customer does not want to use insurance we give them the best price we can to replace the roof. Our team knows roofs, we know the insurance process and when to file a claim or perhaps not to file a claim. We advise you if you need repairs or replacement and are completely honest and upfront in our findings. Most importantly we are not a storm chasing company and warrant our work!

We appreciate the time this prospect took to do a review on our company, but to be fair this customer said we had the wrong date when we went initially to check his repair, we apologized if we did make that mistake and he rescheduled for the following Saturday. When our roof tech arrived for that appointment he said he had an emergency and sent us away. We totally get that, but he never called back in to the office so we thought he went with another company. We also accomodated him by coming down on his repair bill when he asked us if we would. When I called to ask why he reviewed us when we never did any work he said he wanted us to do the work and we never came back. I told him we glady would have put him on the schedule if he had called back into the office - we had no idea he wanted the work done since we never heard from him.

Description of Work: They inspected the roof, then recommended some minor repairs and did them on the spot. The employee showed me some pictures of the damage and work, which was nice. The price was a lot for an hour of work, but otherwise I was happy.

Response from Atlanta Metro Roofing
In response, we originally went out to do the $125 inspection and minor repairs through Angie's List promotion. That included an inspection of the roof and "minor repairs" only which covered the caulking of 4 penetrations with 1 or 2 missing singles. Ben informed the homeowner that he had toe board holes all over his roof which Ben caulked, Ben also nailed in a small metal roof at the customer's request which had to be nailed with special nails and had to be applied carefully as to not crack the mortar on the bricking. It was also a 12/12 two and three story roof which is steep and requires roping off. In addition we always quote the price first and our customers either accept it or decline it. We find most people we quote and shop around come back to us because we are extremely competitive and aggressive in pricing. It is totally up to the customer to shop around before accepting our pricing if they feel we are too expensive. I am sorry the customer felt we were expensive and should have called the office to discuss any concerns of the price quoted. In closing of the situation I consider the work done and the price charged well within industry standards as it included labor, material and steep charges. Shari Zippay, Owner

Description of Work: The service provider was to call while en route to my home. He did not call, so I was surprised when he rang my bell. He promised me that I would receive a written report reflecting the roof inspection findings. To date, I have not received the report. In addition, he promised to send me bids for the work needed on my roof. I have not received the bids that I was promised.

Company representative gave a free price quote and scheduled a repair date that fit our schedule. Rep. was on time for the appointment. He successfully matched new shingles to the ones already on the roof. Work was performed timely and correctly. No recurrence of roof leaks! Rep was very knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend this company to perform roof repair work.
Description of Work: Repaired chimney flashing, corrected flashing (incorrectly installed at time of construction) several ventilation tubes, and repaired a previously unidentified roof leak.
