The estimate was in line with several estimates that I had gotten. This was a veryf professional experience from start to finish. I was impressed that the estimate included a description of the product that was going to be used, the license of the contracter and other information. The crew was on time and efficient. They worked very well together. There were some problems revealed with the existing roof once shingles were removed. They took pictures and explained in detail the extent of the problems. The added cost due to these problems was reasonable and fair. It was a good experience and I would certainly use them again.

Great customer service: Prompt returned call, free estimate, and thorough explanation of the process of my roof replacement. Yilber walked me through my insurance benefits and terminology with ease. The Artech team arrived on time, determined and prepared to work. They were courteous, mindful, efficient and fast. Left my property looking better than when they arrived. Every piece of debris was picked up and discarded of properly. I love my new roof! I highly recommend them!

Yilber came out, went up and inspected the section of roof I was concerned about. He then measured and inspected the remainder of the roof checking the flashing and boots around the chimney. I expected the worse but was pleasantly surprised when he told me our roof was fine it had several more years of life. He stated he would not recommend replacing it at this time. He was very polite and thorough. I would definitely recommend ARTECH and would use them again.

Start to finish was a great experience we were never left wondering Yilber is very knowledgeable when it comes to roofing and answered any questions we had at the beginning and during the roofing process. yilber (the contact person for knoxville area) is very kind, professional, and the communication is excellent. i had several bids for roofing, and his was initially the lowest price. then i had a bid come in later that was lower priced, (peace roofing) and yilber was able to match the price. they cleaned up the property well, and the roof looks nice.

Yilber is awesome. I had some problems with my roof due to hail damage and a leak in a small apartment on our property that needed to be fixed fast. His crew came out the very next day and fixed everything but the gutter guards. I was shocked at how fast they got everything done. When they started the work, they found more damage than they thought and were able to remediate immediately. They fixed it without asking, which prompted Yilber to offer not to charge me, but the work had to be done, so I didn't hesitate to pay. After fixing the immediate needs, his crew came out again in a couple of weeks and replaced all the gutter guards. They left no mess at all for either visit. In addition to replacing the gutter guards they cleaned out the gutters, which had some debris just because of the missing/damaged guards. From the above review, you might not be able to tell it, but Yilber and his crew are awesome. They are courteous and professional, and Yilber himself is highly trustworthy. You can just tell when you deal with him that he takes his business seriously and he really cares about doing the right thing for the customer. His prices are a little high, but honestly, you pay for what you get and Yilber provides service in spade. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for any roofing needs.

In choosing a roofing company, I place a lot of emphasis on the VIEW REPORT HISTOGRAM. This tells me a lot of how a company conducts itself in dealing with the public. If you click onto the histogram of Artech, you'll see they are way up there. My experience with Artech was exceptional. If you decide to go with this company, you will be dealing with Yilber Velasco, Artech's operation manager. He was up-front, courteous; a true professional in every sense. In working with my insurance company, he established a three way conference call which tells me that everything is "on the table and in the open". Highly recommended.

Artech came promptly when consulted, provided a timely estimate for their services, inspected the materials brought by the roofing supplier to be sure that they were the materials I had specified, and then, once they began the actual job, completed all work in two and a half days. Artech representative Yilber Velasco consulted me in certain situations to insure that I was satisfied with how things were going and to find out if I had any questions. The work crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves each day. The finished job is beautiful and I look forward to a leak-free future.

they returned our email with a phone call. set up an approx. time for inspection. they came when they said they would, were very courteous, took pictures to show us some minor damage to roof vents, and gave us a price and time they would be out to fix it. they told us we could expect to get about 5 more years out of our current roof, we just needed a couple of vent pipes fixed. they came out a few days later and performed the repairs. over all we are very pleased with their work and appreciate their honesty.

The company called me right away and was very courteous. While I just asked for an estimate for replacing the roof. the gentleman asked if they could do an inspection. When I said, I just need an estimate, I was told I would be charged a fee that would be reimbursed if I decided to go with his company. The website said free estimates. Maybe they were concerned because I was getting multiple estimates. As far as quality, I can't attest to that.

The Artech crew arrived within a reasonably short time after the contract was signed, keeping in mind that the severe weather season had already started and storm damage had already occurred in East Tennessee. It was a crew of six men who worked rapidly and safely. The whole job was done in two-and-a-half days. The Artech local representative, a most helpful young man, showed up every evening to see whether everything was done right. The crew was aleways friendly and left the worksite in a very clean condition. The crew came back a few days later for some additional work that could not be completed at the first go-around. We recommend Artech roofing without reservation. Payments were due after job completion. Two remarks: 1) Be specific with times. They are punctual but when you say "asap" they wait for your call rather than call you and say "we're ready." 2) Be prepared for them to work through the weekend.

I called towards end of the week to get estimate for area on roof that had light leaking through at point where bathroom exhaust pipe comes out. they came out on Sunday and arrived at approximately when they said they would. I showed them from the inside what the problem was then they inspected the same section on the roof. They pointed out what problems they saw (roof nails that had come up, boot around electrical pipe deteriorated, and bad exhaust pipe boot). Towards the end of the work, they offered to clean the gutters for $25 extra since they would be up on the roof which I accepted. They did all the work mentioned and finished within a couple of hours and hauled off all trash. Very professional, friendly, and helpful. Would contact them again for future work.

The process was fairly easy, the work was good. All went as planned/described. We would use them again for future work.

I started out calling Homestead and they worked with my insurance on the price, but then I never heard from them. I called every week to get information as to price and when the repair would begin and never received a call back. So I called ARTECH, he had car trouble but came out the next day. He was very thorough, checking my attic, measuring distances etc. something the other company did not do. He then kept me informed as to when they would be coming to repair my roof. They came and repaired the rood in a matter of a couple of hours. Very mannerly and the best price of anyone I checked on.

From the beginning, Artech was fantastic!!!! They called my husband within 10 minutes of contacting them through Angie's List. We got other estimates but were not impressed by the demeanor and/or punctuality of the others. Yilber and Steve were always available, called and came when they said they would, even when they were on vacation they took my call! The roofing crew was so wonderful- really hard workers, getting all three roofs completed in 2 days, in blistering hot temperatures. They worked from early in the morning to sundown and hardly ever took a break. They cleaned up as they went, even using a handmade nail magnet one of the crew made to get all the nails. They even came back to fix the siding piece and while they were there put up a gutter for us (not part of the job) and replaced a couple of shingles that had come off in another storm (not part of the job either)! I highly recommend them to everyone.

We chose Artech to replace our roof and gutters from the storm damage from last April. We communicated with Mr. Yilber Velasco about our project. Mr. Velasco is very polite and personable. He assured us a quality job and that it what he delivered. We were impressed with the quality of materials Artech uses and the quality of work performed. Mr. Velasco chooses to use a superior product compared to other roofers we had give us quotes. That is one of the main reasons we chose to go with his company. He also replaced all of our gutter even though the insurance company only gave us credit for partial gutter replacement. We had already contracted with a landscaper to have new landscaping put in and Mr. Velasco made special arrangements to get our roof completed as soon as possible prior to our landscaping project. Mr. Velasco was very punctual and helpful though out the entire process. The crew worked from 8 am until dark for two days to get our job completed. The clean up was very thorough. They went around the house with a metal detector and large magnets trying to get every last nail. Mr. Velasco himself spent time digging in the pea gravel and cleaning around our daughter's play set in our back yard. I really appreciated this. We have the best roof in the neighborhood, hands down!!! I was so nervous about the whole roof thing, hoping we wouldn't get scammed but we made the right choice. Our roof looks great and I haven't found one single nail in our yard. The price was a great value compared to other quotes. You will not be disappointed with Mr. Velasco and Artech.

Over the past year of storms, my home has suffered numerous wind and hail assaults. Subsequently I determined that I would need to replace my roof. I reviewed Angie's List to identify several roofing companies to schedule appointments for quotes. Although the quotes were nearly identical, I felt that I would be best served by using Artech Roofing. i came to this conclusion after several phone and in-person conversations with both Yilber and Steve. After selecting a shingle color and window shutters, we scheduled a date with Artech to perform the replacement. Much to my surprise, I received a phone call from Yilber the day before the scheduled date, to ask if his team could get a jump on the job early and start that afternoon. As such, the team showed up late afternoon on Thursday and completed half the job that night. The next day the team showed up as scheduled and completed the job quickly, thoroughly, cleanly and even performed an few extra home repair tasks.

My experience with Artech was excellent from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.
