Description of Work: Had a problem with a broken seal in the refrigerator ice maker and the water dispenser worked only intermittently. Was more that the seal. The unit is seven years old, and otherwise in good shape. I also had them do a complete diagnostic and cleaning. The $350.00 for parts and labor was good value for money. I know have a refer that will last another 7 yrs. A lot better than a couple of grand for a similar new model! The service technician was professional, well spoken and dressed appropriately.

Description of Work: The service was professional. The technician was punctual and courteous. He assessed the problem and gave a quote for repair. I decided to replace instead and purchased a new unit from a different retailer.

Description of Work: Told them I needed a new control board, so that they could avoid a diagnosis trip. After not calling me back for 4 days, I called them again to schedule appointment. The repairman called me and told me they only offer a "flat rate" for the part and installation... $455, less the $60 value from Angie's List ($39 cost). I told them that I paid $475 to purchase the range new 14 mos earlier. He told me the part itself was $150 + 300 installation. REDICULOUS! I bought the part from Sears Parts Direct for $96... $112 incl tax and shipping. I installed myself... 2 screws and 4 plugs. It took all of 5 minutes. I would not use them and would not recommend them. The average person may not of viewed this as a DIY repair. Had the charged me $200-250, I would have probably let them do it. They tried to take advantage of me and lost an easy profit.

Description of Work: Dryer dial was continually turning even when drum was not. Technician changed out switch on door first to see if that would solve the problem, which it did. It took the technician all of one minute to change the switch and charged me 160.00 on top of the 40 I already paid on Angie's List and this was with a 60 dollar parts credit. Seemed really high for such a small job.
