Description of Work: We found Aladdin thru an Angie's Deal of the Day. We paid $99 for $500 worth of blown in attic insulation plus energy assessment. Aladdin Insulation came and put 22 inches of additional insulation in our attic. They came out on Aug. 17th and gave us a quote (approx. $1500, thanks to the $500 discount)and then set up the install date. They came out promptly as scheduled, performed the work, did a great clean-up (vacuumed, etc.) and left. My husband calculated that the price they charged to do everything was less than we could have purchased the insulation for! We have only had one power bill since the installation, but it appears this is going to pay for itself in a year or two. We are very happy to have this done and would recommend Aladdin Insulation to others. They communicated with us and were very professional every step of the way.

Description of Work: The person that came out, Rob, was extremely professional, thorough and helpful. Evidently what I thought was existing construction, is considered new construction. Even though the attic is semi-finished it is considered new construction as at the present time, there is no electric, plumbing, HVAC, sheet rock, etc., just the wooden beams. Even though I cannot use this offer, will most likely still use Aladdin for the insulation.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate on window replacements on 7/17 in the AM for my condo . I was told by the receptionist I would receive a telephone call sometime around lunch from a technician for details on the work. I mentioned their "A" rating with Angie's list and indicated I was a customer with Angie's hoping to do business with them. I called again on 07/23 and left a message but as of today's date have not received a call back. I am no longer interested in doing business with them at this time.

Description of Work: I needed a window frame cut out an egress window installed in my basement for a brick house partially underground and above ground. No window exist currently. Aladdin said they do not perform this type of work and recommended a window company called Davis windows & doors who I called and they also do not perform this type of work.

Description of Work: Install R60 insulation. Outstanding from the salesman through the installers. Very professional, knowledgable and personable. At both steps the individuals clearly explained what they were going to do, asked for any questions and then executed the plan. Following installation the installers reviewed the installation, warranty and service and then thoroughly cleaned up. I would absolutely recommend them.

Description of Work: Bad. I purchased $500.00 worth of insulation. However, the company didn't want to give me $500.00 worth of insulation. They wanted to give me 450 sq ft worth of insulation. According to the online insulation calculator that is provided by Lowe's, I need approximately $500 worth of insulation to bring my attic to R30. My attic is 1320 sq ft. However, this company said they would only give me 450 sq ft of insulation.

Description of Work: We have a living room in the front of our house that is always cold in the winter, so we thought we needed more insulation in the attic or walls. The Aladdin Insulation rep evaluated our attic insulation and used an infrared scope to check the heat loss through the ceiling and walls of the living room, and then checked the temperature of the hot air coming out of the room's heating duct. He concluded that our insulation was satisfactory, and said he thought the problem was in the ductwork, so he suggested we call an HVAC company. We appreciated his honesty, because he didn't try to sell us insulation that we didn't need. There was no charge for his visit. |

Description of Work: They looked at my bonus room over the garage. The room is always too hot or too cold. They could not do the insulation for me and did not give me the energy evaluation I expected. I probably would not use them again because they are quite far from my house. Even they recommended another company in Jonesboro, GA.

Description of Work: When we bought our house, we found out that there was no insulation in the attic. As in none. We contacted Aladdin, who came out and did an estimate in a very timely manner. When they came to do the work, they worked very quickly and as quietly as possible. We had a new baby in the house and they were able to work through the house without disturbing her. They were very thorough and they did a good job cleaning up behind themselves. We will not hesitate to refer our friends to them.
