Aladdin Insulation & Home Improvement

We called for an estimate. We were able to get an appointment right away. The salesman came out and did a thorough look at the space, did an exact square footage of the space, then gave us an estimate. After three other estimates, even though they were a little higher than the other estimates, we called Aladdin and gave them the job. Their warranty and the type of product and the little things they included made the difference. They called ahead, showed up on time and did exactly what the salesman said they would do. Aladdin (Charley) came on time for a quote, did a nice job of explaining the options. Once we selected Aladdin, the team was on time, they were very careful to protect walls/floors from damage and dirt (it was raining), and they were professional and easy to work with. In addition to the insulation, they flashed all the can lights to prevent them from over-heating with the insulation on top (16 in all), and their no-settling warranty is a nice to have. We can tell a difference with the new insulation, in both power bills and comfort.

Fast and clean. Rep came out within a few days of calling and gave estimate. They began work within week. Work was done in Summer 2007.

The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and knew all aspects of the product. He answered all of our questions straightforwardly and applied no sales pressure whatsoever. The work was scheduled to accommodate our needs. The crew was professional and business like. They were very careful to avoid any damage to our house or furniture. In sum, the company is everything they said they would do for a very reasonable price.

It went exceptionally well. They arrived on time, were efficient and got the work done in a timely manner. They walked me though the initial phase and had me "tour" the attic after the work was complete, recapping the process. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving my hall and staircase cleaner than they d found it.

I selected Aladdin based on Angie's List reports, as well as, the type of building material it uses for loose-fill insulation. Additionally, the company provides an outstanding guarantee. From start to finish, the work was done efficiently and professionally. Chuck Straub did an excellent job explaining the products and procedures and I was pleased with his respectful and friendly manner. The estimate was provided immediately and work commenced at my earliest convenience. The installation team did a super job and provided thorough clean-up as well. The price to surpass R-40 and reach R-49 was great.

They were great the only thing that I didn't like was that I didn't notice a difference in my heating costs, they may have changed a little but not enough to see big improvements.

When we made our decision, the crew came out, insulated the attic, wrapped the water heater. They were prompt, pleasant, efficient and kept us informed every step of the way. When the job was completed, you would not have known they were even there! Great experience!

The salesman was very nice and friendly, not pushy at all. The installers were animal lovers and were very careful not to let my pets out while they were working. They did the job quickly without much noise (I work at home, so that's important). The temperature has been much more stable in our home since we got the insulation, and we don't run the A/C nearly as much. I am expecting to see a big difference in our heating bill this winter. We got a discount on the service because we had the installation done 'off-season' (April). I would definitely recommend this company.

I got Aladdin's name from Angie's List for attic insulation. When Charlie Whigham arrived to give me an estimate, I saw they also did replacement windows and got an estimate for those as well. I haven't received such attentive, professional customer service since doctors made house calls. Charlie was extremely thorough in describing his estimates. He did not try to oversell us. The attic installation includes wrapping the water heater. Since ours is in a heated basement, the installer suggested wrapping was unnecessary and offered a credit instead. The window installation was fantastic - speedy and clean. The installer pointed out a couple of problems (e.g a broken lock) and said they would be fixed. The problems were taken care of within a week. Charlie inspected everything afterward and found a couple of things that we hadn't even noticed. Those were corrected quickly. Even repositioning of the shutters after installation was taken care of.

They were professional from the moment they came 'til they left. They were very good explaining the process to me. They took great care with my house. After they were done, they showed me all they had done. They were EXTREMELY thorough!!! I cannot recommend these guys enough!! They were on their hands and knees picking up tiny pieces of insulation around their truck before they left. As I have stated on other jobs, I am very demanding and particular. These guys were STELLAR!!!

Did a great job. Gave us more insulation than expected, cleaned up beautifully. They canceled two appointments, but Charlie took off $100.00 for the inconvenience. We highly recommend Aladdin.

I have already seen a difference in my gas heating bills. The crew was very professional, and treated us very nicely. They came in, did their work, and left everything as clean as when they started.

Based on very positive reviews on Angie's List, called Aladdin for an estimate. Our main concern was what could be done to insulate our master bath that sits over our garage and has a cathedral ceiling over half of it. Charlie Wiggins arrived on time to prepare a $1450 proposal to blow in Attic Guard fiberglass over my existing 6" 20-year old insulation for a total depth of 18" (R-49). His proposal included an attic tent over our pull down stairs and baffles over the soffit vents. Most importantly he suggested replacing the R11 in the bathroom knee wall that protrudes up into the attic with R19 batts. Charlie said the old batts were the main reason the MB was so cold in winter that only I could stand to shower there. I chose Aladdin because this price seemed reasonable for the work involved. Charlie arrived to supervise the work and really focused on doing the best possible job to insulate and wrap the bathroom ceiling walls. It's made a huge difference. He provided outstanding service

Did everything on estimate & more. Installation was for an additional 18 inches of insulation in the attic to bring it up to R49. They installed over 24 inches brought the R factor to well over 60 for the same price! Our master suite went from arctic to microwave overnight. And we'll definitely be calling Charlie back for vinyl replacement windows.

A few days late in starting due to scheduling issues, but Aladdin kept us informed on a daily basis. For a three sided house with soffit replacement, it took 7 days (we had 3 days of rain in between). The clean up was good and the communication of what was happening was good as well.

Charles Whigham and his partner Ivan were very professional, did not try and up sell services and provided a clean, affordable and beneficial service. You know what you're getting and they make you feel comfortable with the process. Furthermore, we have asked Aladdin to speak at our Home Owner's Association meeting next week on home insulation services. I could not recommend them any higher.

They came in the morning and were finished by noon. They promised some discounts and they did the reductions from my bill. The quality of the work was very good. I would probably use them again in the future. The people I dealt with were very professional. They seemed to have integrity.

We had an excellent experience from the first phone call to set up an appointment for an estimate to completion. They outlined everything they were going to do in detail on the estimate and when they came out to do the work they exceeded the quality of work that we expected.
