Aladdin Insulation & Home Improvement

I really liked them. The negative about them was their price. It was overpriced. My neighbor had used them and they did a good job for them. The quote was for about $1400. The salesman was very knowledgeable. Their marketing pitch was that they would insulate up to 60 inches and no other company would that. The quote included things I did not need done. I had already done most of the work. They were unwilling to negotiate on that. I will consider them for a future quote.

Overall service and quality were very good, however one of the primary reasons we called them was to seal and insulate two drafty rooms. At the quoting process, we were told we needed to remove the baseboards to provide them access and they would fill any uninsulated voids behind the lower wall with non-expanding spray foam. In reality all they did was run a thin bead of spray foam between the interior of the wall and floor. The quality of the spray foam work was not well done and doesn't appear to have been effective in solving the original problem. From a work scope perspective the spray foam was only a small part of the entire job, which was overall performed well.

The company is very professional and timely. They arrived in the window of time that they arranged, did the work swiftly and efficiently. The staff was very courteous, and considerate of our home. They also cleaned up the mess, after the work was completed.

Installers were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Very satisfied with the work and the quality of the windows.

The salesperson showed up on time and was great. He quoted a better price than Home Depot (and offered to provide a higher R value) by several hundred dollars (including Angie's List discount) and included installation of foam gaskets inside all outside wall electrical outlets and light switches, and plumbing penetrations through outside walls. The crew showed up and got straight to work. They were friendly, easy to talk to and finished the job in less than three hours.

The whole experience was good. The team was punctual. Upon arrival they explained what they were here to do and started work immediately afterwards. When they'd finished they called me to show me what they'd done and remind me of their warranty.

Had a great experience with the salesperson who explained the different service offerings along with any followup work that might be necessary. Installation work crew were prompt and very professional and completed work according to plans laid out my salesperson. Overall great experience and work is already paying dividends in terms of lower overall heating costs.

The company has excellent customer service and was responsive from initial inquiries, bids to installation. Chuck provided an estimate and a no-pressure bid. This was a distinguishing factor in our minds against the competitors. The angie's list coupon helped on the price a bit too. Service was very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Adding insulation is a no-brainer in most homes. But as the products are almost interchangable, these guys set themselves apart through their professional approach through the whole process.

Our overall experience with them was very positive. The workers were prompt, courteous and professional. They did a great job. Would use them again.

The crew, led by Ivan, was both punctual and professional. They blew in about 21 inches of insulation in our 1900 square foot attic in about 2 and a half hours. We can already tell a difference in the way the house is insulated. They also insulated our hot water heater and cleaned up behind themselves as if they were never there.

I thought they were outstanding in every way. They communicated well with us. They were very professional. Both the estimator and the workers were really good. They did the job quickly, and they had a good guarantee. I thought they did a great job. We've noticed a difference in the air conditioning bill.

Alladin was professional and very, very good. They were a little late, but given their thoroughness, I had not problem with it. I had plastic down in the crawl space that needed to be spread over the floor, and they offered to do that! My bills have already gone down in price!

The overall process was very positive from initial quote to completion of job. The workers were timely, friendly and professional.

The initial quote was to install a radiant barrier in the attic (between the roof rafters). Upon examination of the attic on the actual installation day , the lead worker recommended an alternative solution which he felt would be more effective - radiant barrier on walls of attic and blown in fiberglass insulation on floor. I was pleased with the alternative solution proposed and accepted it. The amount of work required under the alternative solution was probably more than the original proposal but they did not charge me anymore than the initial estimate. I was very pleased with the quality and professionalness of the company.

They were very professional and quick. They arrived on time and performed the work just as described in their proposal. I would use them again and I have recommended them to my friends and neighbors.

It went great. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They were scheduled for a noon arrival, which they were very prompt for and even called about an hour before to confirm their appointment. They also sealed all the plumbing cuts and installed foam pads in all the exterior electrical outlets. Mike showed me the finished work in the attic, and walked me through other attic spaces to show me the radiant barrier they installed in areas where the loose insulation could not be applied. He even showed me a few areas that had no original insualtion at all (in a 15 year old house). We could tell the difference immediately.

My interaction with the company went fine and I had no complaints. Their price was quite a bit higher and their product wasn?t that good. That is the reason why I didn?t go with them.

I used them twice. They did quality work and I haven't had any problems with anything they did. They were prompt and responsive. They provided explanations.

After I retired last October I learned just how cold my house was during the day. I called Aladdin in Feb 2010 & then met with a very non-aggressive salesman. We walked the house & looked up in the attic and he described in writing what Aladdin could do for me. He mentioned that I should see an immediate improvement in the evenness of temperatures in the house, that my HVAC would not run as often & that the temperature for example in the summer in the house would be about 10 degrees cooler than outside without the AC being on. The guys doing the work were prompt & pleasant. They described what they were going to do. While the attic was being worked on one of them put insulation in all the outside wall outlets. They finished up in a few hours & did a great job of cleaning up. Sure enough ALL the saleman's statements are true & my utilities have been lower & should pay for the work in about one year. It was a real pleasure working with this company. Plus about $267 will be a Federal tax credit this year!

They did a great job! They were responsive and professional, and everything they guaranteed they delivered on. I got 2 other estimates and their price was much much better. They cleaned up their mess before they left.
