The service was okay. I had a rat infestation in the attic, so I had them come out to removed the old insulation and replace it. I found that they had not taken out all of the old insulation after they completed the job. They were nice guys, but the work did not necessarily meet my expectations.

Aladdin looked like a very good supplier, so I contacted them via Angie's "Email provider" link. After 10 days of no response, I called Aladdin directly and got a voicemail. I left a call-back number. Again no response over the following 10 days. If I can't get a response concerning new business, then they are either too busy or not interested. Either way, I am going with a different supplier. UPDATE JULY 28: The owner contacted me and was very apologetic about the communication issues. He volunteered to perform a quote on the weekend, and to provide a significant discount on the price. The estimator (Ivan) was very professional and knowledgeable, and spent over an hour reviewing and discussing the job with me. Overall, it was a top-notch response from a company that is serious about customer satisfaction and their reputation in the market. Based on that, I'm changing my ratings to "A". UPDATE SEPT 10: The insulation install has now been completed, and everything went great. The work was as-quoted and the installers were courteous and competent. I would definitely use this company again. Since Aladdin was so helpful, I also had them quote and install a solar attic fan (Zephyr Model SFA) capable of moving 1500 cubic feet of air a minute. The install was quick and easy, with no need for electrical connections since it's solar-powered. The fan has dramatically reduced the temperature of my attic, which used to be as high as 130 degrees. Fan cost was high at $1100 installed, but 65% of that cost is reimbursable via state and federal credits (30% tax credit federal this year, 35% tax credit Georgia taken over 4 years if program budget allows). In summary, Aladdin demonstrated that they provide superior service and have a high value for customer service. I will definitely use them again as the need arises.

Alladin just came and insulated the attic on my 85 year old house. I had less than 7" of insulation in it and my a/c couldn't keep up with the hundred degree temperatures we had last week. I called Alladin and two other highly rated insulation companies from Angie's List. I chose Alladin because of the professionalism and knowledge of Rob, the salesman. He noticed things that the other companies didn't notice where insulation needed to be added and he didn't try to over-sell me. Their prices were very competitive and they even offer to beat other, cheaper prices. I didn't need that because the price was essentially the same as my other quotes. Thanks to a customer cancelling, I was able to have them come the day after I received the quote. They just left and I couldn't be more pleased. They did a great job cleaning up and I'm looking forward to a cool evening tonight in my upstairs! Jennifer L

Aladdin responded very quickly to our call for a quote. Their representative arrived on time. He took a look at the job and wrote an estimate. He had a detailed presentation outlining exactly what they would do. Overall the experience was good. They promised to match any other quotes provided it was "apples for apples." Their quote was reasonable compared to the quotes we got from two big box retailers, but considerably higher than another local competitor. We were so impressed by their presentation we felt we could really trust them to do the work, so we were willing to pay more if we needed too in order to have them do the job. I sent the quote from the competitor via email to our sales representative at Aladdin. He responded with that they would match and even beat the quote. We were pleased. But then we get a message the next day that the quote was not realistic and they could only drop their original quote by a couple hundred dollars. We were a little annoyed, but still willing to spend more on Aladdin. We put in several calls to our sales rep and could not get a return call. After two days of no return calls we called the office and they apologized and promised that we would hear from our rep the following Monday. Monday came and went without a return call. Tuesday morning I called and scheduled with the other company. Our rep did finally call on Tuesday. In the end I am glad. The other company did the job for much less and they did a great job. I think Aladdin would have also done a great job. I am not certain what the circumstances were surrounding the communications problems we experienced, but it cost them the job. As far as their "apples for apples" price guarantee, they don't really stand by it. The competitor did the same work, using the exact same product (same brand) for much less.

Just purchased my home and noticed they had 6" of insulation in the attic and the area above the master bedroom didn't have any in spots. Called Aladdin for an estimate. Rob came out right away, made the inspection in the attic and outlined a very detailed quote and warrany. He was a little cheaper than another company and since Aladdin had great reviews on Angie's List I decided to go with them. The service people came out a week later prepared the attic and blown in the insulation ( to 21"). They were very friendly, quick and cleaned everything up. I would recommed them.

Not much to say. They estimated it, showed up on time, did the job as promised and cleaned up after themselves.

Rob came out to do an estimate. He was very professional and explained the process very well. He had great marketing material that he left with me which was helpful as I had forgotten some of details of the items we discussed. I had a tough time deciding which company of the two to selected to do the work. One was providing R49 insulation rating for our attic at a certain price. The other was Aladdin which provided an estimate for R60 insulation rating at a higher price. Given this, I was not comparing apples to apples and was confused why one offered an R60 rating and the other an R49 rating. I ended up doing a lot of research on the internet and also called the property inspector that we used when we purchased our home. We decided to use the other company. It was a tough decision as I really liked the presentation, professionalism and feeling of confidence that Aladdin provided. I am sure they would of done a good job as well.

Overall it went very well, from getting the price to doing the job and cleaning up. The job was done quickly and professionally.

Very professional. I was told that while the guy used the wrong product, he really did no harm and to remove it would be costly. It would be better to leave it in place. He also told me the remaining areas were adequate and as such he could not recommend any work there. The real kicker was he did not want to be paid for the service call. Good old fashioned service with a trustworthy person. I would only use Aladdin Insulation in the future should I need any type of service they provide.

I used Angie's List to gather feedback on potential vendors. The estimate was quick and easy. The salesman made very clear the services included both orally and in writing.

I had problems with rats and flying squirrels. I spent about $5,000 on the insulation. They did a great job. They explained everything and got everything cleaned up. They went beyond what they were supposed to do. They were able to get the job done in a timely manner. I will use them again.

We had Guardian Fiberglass insulation (upgrade R-60) installed in our attic - also an "Attic Breeze" solar attic fan. The attic fan was installed before the insulation on a separate date. Charles came out to talk with us before any work was done. He explained what they would do thoroughly and answered our questions. Everyone involved was very professional. They come on the day they say they're coming and they're punctual. They do what they say they'll do with excellency. We recommend them highly! Our next electric bill, following the installation of the insulation and solar attic fan was 30% less! We are thrilled!

It was really a great experience. Aladdin was timely and professional in all of our interactions. They showed up on the day we had scheduled the work. They completed it quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a great experience and there is a noticeable diference in the warmth of our house this winter.

Everything went as promised, and they cleaned up so well that my husband couldn't even tell that they had been in the house. Call me crazy, but it felt warmer in the house as soon as they were finished! :-)These folks are real pros, and it's no surprise that they keep winning awards. As a follow-up. We've had two other contractors need to work in the attic and both asked about the insulation work. One said he was going to have them do his house. We truly believe we received quality workmanship for our investment. The added comfort and reduced utility costs are well worth it.
