Description of Work: Walker tech. Joel, inspected unit, identified the problem and gave me options on what to do. Joel corrected my immediate issue and I made a plan for a permanent fix. Joel was professional and very helpful. I'll use Walker Bro's again.

+ -1 moreI came home late one afternoon and the blower on the HVAC unit was running but the compressor was not on. It is deisugned to run for a short time after the compressors turns off. When the fan did not stop I turned the entire unit off but the fan kept running. I called Walker Bros. at 4:30 PM and told them what was happening. I was told that they could not get to me until the following day because it was so late. They told me that the fan running all night would not use any more electricity than a light bulb. A few minutes later they called me back to tell me that one of the technicians goes near my house on his way home and he would stop and look at it. When he arrived a few minutes later he knew exactly what the problem was. He verified it with hia meter then replaced the relay.
Description of Work: Blower on central HVAC unit would not shut off. Technician removed and replace a small relay.

Description of Work: They provide routine maintenance twice a year on my Heating/AC unit. They have provided this service for three years.

+ -1 moreOverall.....I am most pleased with the service of Walker Bros. Heating and Cooling Co., Inc. and will use them from now on.
Description of Work: I called the company on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 to request service to inspect and prepare my heat pump for the winter. An appointment was made for Wednesday 16, 2011 for 9:30 AM. The service man arrived on time and began his inspection. He kept me informed as he checked the unit. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skill, plus his courtesy. When he finished his inspection he told me about a Residential Service Contract that the company has, that will check the unit twice a year and keep it in good working order. I asked him to send me a form to sign and it arrived two days later.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner would not come on at all so after calling around and having no luck with others we decided to call Walker Brothers. The tech that came out was eager to find out the problem and did not leave until my unit was working again.
