+ 0 moreI found Mr Cox on Angies's List and called him to provide an estimate to finish the construction on our home that the home builder VanCleave Construction had walked out on, leaving it with building code violations and other major issues. We were left with a nightmare. Mr. Cox was kind enough to come out walk through the house with me, point out some new issues we had not previously noticed and then was christian enough to advise us how to go forward in a manner that would save us some money. He could have taken advantage of our desperate situation to charge us a lot of money and he instead pointed us in another direction. He seems knowledgable, very competant and a genuinely nice guy.
Description of Work: He spent quite a bit of time walking through and around the house assessing what needed to be done and offerred help with finding qualified sub contractors to complete the work.

+ -1 moreI would recommend Steve Cox, Inc. to anyone who is looking to build a home in Dougherty or Lee County. He is very professional and his quality work comes from not only his dedication to perfection but his relationship with Christ. I was very pleased with how our home turned out and we will be coming back to him again when we get ready to upgrade to a larger home. Great experience from start to finish.
Description of Work: Steve was our contractor for the building of our first home. He helped us a lot with keeping our budget on target and instructing us on the areas we performed ourselves (i.e. painting, trim work, mantle, etc.) He oversees everyone very well and kept our build on target for completion with almost no down time in between. He also has a great network and is well respected where ever he goes, which was evident when we went to pick out items for our home at other businesses.
