Description of Work: Install foam insulation in attic spaces

Description of Work: Company came to provide the annual inspection of dehumidifier that was installed a couple of years ago. I am sorry I did not use AngiesList.com then, because this company is as great a company as I have yet encountered. Ultra: responsive; efficient; professional; affordable; etc. There is not enough that I can say about this company. If you have moisture control issues (as anyone in SoWeGa does), please call this company.

Description of Work: We were having a major humidity problem under our old house after installing a new AC/ Unit. The crawl space was allowing the humidity access to penetrate our wooden floors. Causing them to cup and buckle. Before we never had this problem. After making many phone calls and getting some answers to questions. We had decided to go with Mike Murphy with Southern Climate Solutions. He explained that he was aware of the problem in the local Pensacola area. Due to the newer,more efficent AC units running and requiring a healthy amount of air flow. Any house above grade is at risk to pulling humidity up from underneath a house. He did a humidity test and found it was high under our house. I also crawled under and found signs of mildew underneath the house. Mike recommended a fiberglass lined plastic to enclose ( encapsulate) the area where air flow was getting under the house. The ground, sides and vents. He then would install a De-humidifier System. It would remove the humidity from the air space and send it to a sump pump to then be expelled into the yard. We had it done and it works great. Our wooden floors are retracting after only two weeks. The inside AC unit is not running as much and the air is crisper. Without the humid feeling we had before. So with this new de-humidifier system we had installed we look forward to calm, comfortable days ahead in our home. One more point. The reason I decided on not insulating the bottom of our floor joyces underneath with foam was because I was told this would seal any moisture inside and prevent any water from escaping if their was ever a water leak in the house. Causing the leakage to run horizontal and becoming very hard to detect, and very costly to make repairs. So I can still have access under the house.
