Description of Work: They came out and replaced my air conditioning unit.

Description of Work: The company originally installed heating/ac when house was built in 1997. Their label was on our thermostat when we purchased house in 2006. We used them when the unit went out in 2008 and needed another newer more efficient unit. Prices were good. Since then we have had them to return to do the spring checkup.

Description of Work: company did semi-annual service on my central heat and air unit for several years. The last maint. visit suppsedly was ok. They were called several weeks later because unit was not functioning properly. At that time i was told they needed to replace a part. They replaced the part at my expense of over $500.00. A few weeks later they were called again because unit had frozen up. They thawed it and said they didnt find any leaks, again supposedly checked unit out at a cost of another $400.00 plus. A few days later unit was not working correctly so I called a different company. When they inspected the unit the freon leak was so massive that it was even visible to me when the repairman called me out to look at it. By the way, Pollocks man had not even put the caps back on the tubes (I dont know proper name for what i call tubes but is where freon is put in). I ultimately had to replae unit quickly because it was extremely hot weather. I was told in essence by P****** they took no responsibility for any problems. New unit was $5000.00 from another company. I was just out the almost $1000.00 I had paid them the previous weeks.
