Helen's Roofing is a family owned business. We have been in business more than 30 years, with our experience dating back to 1966. We offer free estimates and can be reached almost anytime of the day. In the event of an emergency we are just a phone call away. Also if we do a job for you and there is a problem we will stand behind our work and take care of it.All of our roof jobs are torn off and completely dried in unlike the other guys around here who suddenly don't believe in felt. This was a large contract, and I wanted a AAA products and warranties. This was the third Owns Corning roof I had purchased for my homes. Owns Corning has a transferrable warranty to the next owners, plus Helen's Roofing guaranteed their labor for five years and its was also transferrable to the next owners. The job went extremely well, no problems. They started the job on time, and worked until it was completed. Due to Hail Damage they worked with my Homeowners Insurance Company. I would hire then again -- in a heart beat. They are the best! Helen's Roofing is a Certified Owns Corning Roofing Company. This is important for the Warranty to be enforceable and transferrable. Finally, my roof is down right Beautiful! Your roof is a huge part of your home's overall appearance. I am very happy; and the roof has performed outstandingly through one of the rainiest springs and summers in Albany's history; and coldest winters.
Description of Work: Complete tear of a 30 yr. dimension shingle roof, that was damaged by hail, down to decking. All bad decking was replaced. I chose Owns Corning 50 year Lifetime Designer series shingles, and OC Roofing System: 73 SQS. This included 30lb felt, heavy water proofing in all valleys, on decking over porch areas. The entire process [tear-off and installation] took about three weeks. The cleaned up as they went and made sure all nails all, debris was picked up and removed and the end. The owner Bo and his crew worked constantly, and made sure they didn't tear off more then they could cover. Our weather was constantly "chance of rain" and threatening. They started at sunrise, and worked until dark. Their work was exceptional and always professional.
