They arrived a little later than originally stated that Thursday butwent right to work. The old existing manual door was probably the cheapest quality made and came with our spec house. The door had been dented by my father-in-law when his riding lawn mower backed of the tracks when he was trying to get into his pickup truck, then later left hanging at an angle by a local A. C. repairman, and then my husband managed to take it off its tracks the 2rd and 3rd times. One of the pins that held the door in place on one side had come completely out and the cable and spring had broken Tuesday night prior to the new electric door installation. Even though Overhead Door could not come the following day to install the door, they did come out and check what condition the old door was in and gave what my husband & I felt was a reasonable estimate considering the other door was fixing to literally fall out of the old tracks. We were warned to not touch or move the old door until they could get it down because it was very dangerous in its current state. Even though they arrived a little later than originally stated that Thursday, the two men worked diligently for about 4.5 hrs. This inlcuded taking the old door down for disposal & hauling off, cleaned up 95% of the mess made (had just a little sweeping left), patched up a lose place in the ceiling, installed new rails, motor, and the new door. One of the fellas then spent about 20 minutes giving me a lesson on use, care, & maintenance of the door. One of my labs barked at the installers off and on while they worked but it turned out they both loved labs so not a problem.
