DALTON WHOLESALE FLOORS

We purchased over 3000 sq feet of Shaw Coretec ProPlus LVP flooring from Dalton Wholesale Floors in Adairsville Ga for our new home totaling $11, 256.68. The flooring was professionally installed following the manufacturer recommendations. Immediately, after installation, the floor appeared to have a white milky film over it. We assumed this was due to the floors being new and not having been cleaned yet so we gave it some time however, after several cleanings using various products recommended by Shaw and recommended by the LVP flooring industry the milkiness never improved. Initially, when cleaning the floors, the milkiness disappears while the floors are drying, it will remain clean for approximately 30 minutes, but then slowly, the blotchy milkiness begins to come back over the entire floor. This is highlighted in our home due to the fact that we have multiple windows and doors so the natural lighting is very good. We contacted Dalton wholesale floors who in turn sent out a representative. The representative took several measurements using a laser and asked questions that appeared harmless at first, but were later attempted to be used against us, such as us having dogs and me stating I was not sure if the concrete was tested for moisture prior to installation. I informed the representative there is a moisture barrier under the concrete (for which I have pictures) and the concrete had been installed for eight months prior to the flooring being installed however, he did not indicate any of that in his report. He cleaned an 8“ x 8“ section then took pictures immediately. In his report he indicated the flooring came clean in that section therefore they denied my claim. We are pursuing legal action as we have reports from three other flooring companies that our flooring has a manufacturing flaw, causing a coating over the surface. Every attempt to clean it has been unsuccessful. BUYER BEWARE!!!! This company will not stand behind the products they sell, and will find every means possible to avoid being held accountable for selling faulty, flawed or subpar materials.

The entire transaction was wonderful. The store arranged for the installation. This was done last summer and the floors still look great. Everything was done on time and the price was much less than another quote I had.

I have used Dalton Wholesale Floors three times in 7 years and have been pleased each time. First, they have high quality carpet in stock and ready to use. Second, their prices are *far* better than large box stores or similar competitors (I saved $13/yd installed). Third, although they do not install directly, they have a long list of recommended installers should you need them. I used installers twice and was pleased both times. They have copious amounts of carpet in stock (best buy) or can order it directly. Twice I picked up the carpet and one time my installer delivered it.
