Would never recommend trugreen to anyone. After hearing multiple people tell me not to go with them I did anyway only because they "guarantee" their work. After fighting for months to get a manager to come out I've finally had enough. I finally had someone who was filling in for a manager call me. Said he would come out to my house Friday 10/05. Finally I was starting to feel better considering every time I called for a manager they said they'd have one call me and never did. Well after Friday finally comes I never get a call or any paperwork saying he was out there. I call Monday 10/08 and ask about the situation they said they'd have someone call it's now 10/10 and have still heard nothing. My grass is completely ruined and dead on the side of my house. A technician that came out said there was never any notes on my account saying it needed extra attention. After I explained the condition the yard was in on that side he said they more than likely could have saved it with certain treatments. The "manager" I spoke to the other day said he sees notes where I've called multiple times looking for a manager. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this is absolutely ridiculous. They've done nothing to help me and my now ruined yard. They just want their money every few weeks. Definitely not a good company.

Terrible, I still have weeds in my lawn as well as crabgrass, even though I was guaranteed satisfaction. Everyone of the treatments was performed in the morning of days where severe thunderstorms were in the forecast. so all of the treatments were immediately washed away from a deluge of rain. they returned to perform my service after Two of my calls complaining about the issue, but they returned in the mornings of more rain. The aeration seemed it wasn't over the full lawn, I called to complain 3-4 other times and none of those calls were returned. I did however receive other calls from TruGreen trying sell me other services, and when I said I was not interested based on past performance, I was told that someone would contact me about my issue but I never received one call. I still have crabgrass, and other weeds in my lawn. see attached photos. I will never use them again. I recently received another bill for future work that I never ordered, I guess once you sign up you are a client until you cancel, I did not sign up for more than I paid for, and this business practice is unethical in my eyes, If I was satisfied I would reorder but I am not. and should not have to call to cancel for something I did not order.

I have a problem with them sending out a prepaid service for the next year. Then you find out that you are paying for a certain number of services. Because of number of services exceed the prepaid amount paid, I owe them money. I have use them for over 15 years. I have cancelled my service with them because of them giving the assumption that prepaid will be for the whole year, when it may not be true.

Well, they came to spray for weeds, but now we have large brown patches all over. We asked if they could come back to fix it, and they said it was because of the dog. We have a 30 pound dog that likes to do his business in the woods. It does not seem likely that the dog created patches twice his size. Sadly, we were disappointed with our service.

On price, I don't know I haven't compared, but I think I am okay with the price. On quality, it is too soon, but I think so far so good. On responsivness, they are okay. I had to wait a couple of days. On punctuality, they were on time. On professionalism, they are very good.

I have a contract with them. The service is regular. They come and do what needs to be done. They are very well known, but the service is only partial service. They don't take responsibility for the lawn being green, even though that's what they are marketing. The treatments have not really helped that much. There a couple of patches where the grass isn't growing. They should guarantee that they lawn will be green because of their name. They should guarantee if you don't like the service, that they will come out and do it again. I think I will be stopping them soon. I don't see results.

They were my service provider for more than a year. They should come and do the job. Some one just dropped off the bill when I was home looking out the front window the whole day.

I use them at my house and at my mothers house and they do a great job. I have used them for years.

I have been using them for at least 15 or 20 years. They are real good and I will continue to use them. I was using them to take care of my little shrubs and small trees, but I stopped that because I felt like that was a waist of my money. I am very pleased with them, very pleased. They are not cheap, but they are not the most expensive I could get. I will continue using them.

We've been on going customer for years. I get 9 applications through the year. They give call that they will be coming so we know to have the lawn mowed and ready to receive its treatment. After the lime treatment its weed control and fertilizer on the other 8 services. I have had excellent service from the office and technicians. They're timely, courteous and knowledgeable. They will repeat a service if needed. We do have a beautiful lawn, we are proud of it and so is our technician.

As planned . Weeds have disappeared.

The work is good, but I have to make sure I watch them because sometimes they will come, do half the lawn and leave. The workers are very pleasant.

This was the first time I used them. They do a good job, but I have to monitor some of the people that come out to make sure they do it. If they do spray the lawn, it works. If they don't, it doesn't work. The work was decent. They come every six weeks, but sometimes they will come like every four weeks, so I have to be on top of them and make sure that they're straightening it out the way they should.

They keep the lawn looking good and the weeds out.

I did not particularly care for them. I felt like all I did was call them because we had a problem. They would tell me not to worry and they would take care of me and I said yes, they did, but I had to call constantly to get them to fix the problems rather than doing it right the first time. I just said enough. They were about the same price as everybody. It was not some kind of great deal. It would be okay once they finally came back out and fixed their problem. They would come out and spray, I would wait for about three weeks and I would still have weeds all over the lawn. Then they would spray again and take care of the problem. It was more of a pain than it was a help. I just wondered why they did not do it right the first time so they didn't have to come back out. They would respond right away. They were punctual. I worked and they would come while I work. They came when they said they were going to come. They kept se3nding me notices forever inviting me to come back. They would call me and be extremely polite and apologize. But two months later I would be doing the same thing again. I think I paid something like $89 a treatment.

I have a hard time getting in touch with them. It is hard to talk to them. They are punctual. They are good. They could have killed more weeds and had better communication with us.

The issue with Trugreen is lack of customer service. Treatments are done in scheduled intervals but the firm is ill equipped to handle questions or resolution to lawn issues. The most recent concern, and impetus for writing this review, is to share the lack of response to multiple phone calls. The party line is that the local service manager or lawn specialist will return the phone call in 24 to 48 hours. The follow through by the Trugreen team is an F.

It is fine. The person changes to whoever is driving the route that day. I typically do not deal with them. They come out, do their service and then leave the thing on the door. They recently went up on their cost.

We have a good response and I like them. I pay an annual fee. The overall quality of their treatment is outstanding. I have no problems with them. The lawn looks good since they had started doing the treatments that is why I keep using them. I have used them for quite a long time. They are good all the way around.

First application, only applied in half of my yard. I kept calling they kept telling me they were coming, never did. I called to cancelled and they got mad and were rude and disrespectful. They told I did not have to pay for any service since it was half way done. Well guess what I got a bill and they refused to drop the charge. I had to pay. DO NOT use Trugreen. The worst group I have had dealt with. HORRIBLE! they do not even care.

It went fine this last time. Their services are good but their customer service is irritating. They charge $80 per treatment.

I had them for about 20 years, but I had an incident regarding a chemical spill, that they just didn't handle well at all. The person that did it, didn't try to remove the fertilizer from the yard, and left a big brown spot in the yard. I had already started to think about moving my service before this occurred, just because I didn't feel like I was getting the best benefit from it. I got a quote from another company who I have been with for almost a year. They offer the come back out for free, but I never followed them up for that, and that may have made a difference. My main issue was customer service from the tech, and after that the management did call, and they did come back out and try to do the best they could to fix the brown patch that they had left. The follow up was good, but the tech could have cared less. We were home that day, and he could have just told us. If you are not happy with the service, they will come back and service it, I have never had an issue with that.

A lawn service is only as good as the applicator. I have a zoysia lawn that has needed much attention especially in my back yard. I made numerous calls and emails to trugreen to rectify this and got responses but still never got anything done about it. Waiting 11 weeks or more between services is totally unacceptable especially in the summer when the grass is actively growing. Totally disappointed with Trugreen and will never use them again and do not recommend them for your service if you actually want a service. In all fairness there was one period of time where I was happy with their service and it was because of the applicator named Sharif who was very aware of our lawn and its problems. Of course they took him off my route when I wrote a favorable survey for him. My loss and since then Trugreen has sucked.

I'd been a continuous customer for 22 years. The last 5 or 6 years, the service and everything went down. They closed the Chattanooga office and we had to go through an office in Georgia. We couldn't get any response and my lawn got worse. They wouldn't show up when I called. Last fall I noticed the grass was dying in a pattern. It started in the road where the truck had been parked and it snaked down the lawn and through the back yard and the property line and back around again. I called and called and called. Finally a supervisor was going to come because they were going to reopen the Chattanooga office. He put me in touch with another supervisor that came out. I told them I had it with them. I told them they killed my yard and I wanted my money back. They said they couldn't do that. He got with his supervisor and asked if they could service my yard for 2014 for no charge. I had been spending $1,000 with seeding and aeration. That was the last I heard of them. They stopped returning my calls. They didn't show up for the first service.

I've been with them for 10 years. They come 4 times a year. They communicate with me and if I don't want it done at a certain time, they don't just come out and do it. They make sure that I am aware they are coming so I can be ready for them. They work with me. They don't come out on a day it is going to rain so it washes away. I also get a chance to cut my lawn before they put down an application. Communication is the key.
