The young man that came out (Austin) was so nice and very knowledgeable. My dryer vent is on the roof and needed to be cleaned. Austin worked on it inside and outside. I feel very confident I now have a clean vent. He even vacuumed the floor. Thanks, Austin!

Austin did a great job. He updated me on the best use of the fireplace and suggested some potential repairs and modifications.

Hired Swept Away in September 2018 to clean & inspect the fireplace & chimney of our home. The crew was great when at our house. Prompt, thorough, cleared up after themselves. Left a great impression. They promised I'd have an email receipt of payment and an estimate for the repair work the guys said we needed within 24 hours, but it took me two phone calls and a week to get the receipt and I never received the estimate for work. The initial good impression left by the crew was tainted by the unreliable follow up.

The young man was very nice. He explained what he was doing, how the tool worked, and covered the area so there wouldn’t be a mess. He recommended a new cap. He said that he would send us an estimate and borchures to look at. He said to look at them and do our research. He wanted us to be able to make an informed decision. No pressure. How refreshing!

I hired Swept Away Chimney on October 24, to inspect and clean my chimney. The guys were here around 30 minutes or less. I was told I would receive an invoice that afternoon (which I'm still waiting for). I was also told everything was good to go I specifically asked if I could start a fire and was told yes! Well, to my surprise when I started one my entire house filled with smoke! There were cobwebs left and a ton of soot that would fall every time I touched anything. Which leads me to believe it wasn't cleaned or at least properly. Something must be blocking it. I have reached out numerous times to the office and Spencer's mobile leaving multiple messages about my issue/ concern with zero callbacks. It is now going on a month with still, NO callback. What exactly did I pay $290 for? It appears Nothing. Not happy about this experience. I would Never recommend this company for the simple fact they won't even call me back to attempt to resolve or fix this issue. Leaving a review (which I have never left a bad one) was my last attempt. I have been more than patient and allowed plenty of time for someone to get in touch with me.

We hired them to inspect and clean our wood burning stove. Tech that came out was professional, friendly and thorough. Would definitely use them again.

We had a wood burning stove installed, as well as a chimney insert. The chimney was unusual but these guys worked very hard to do a good job. We love our new insert.

When replacing the brick for the fireplace, they accidentally broke one of the side pieces but replaced it for free. Their work was efficient and well done.

The guys did a great job! They were fast and efficient, yet they still took the time to explain what they were doing and answer all my questions.

Installers did a great job! They were prompt and efficient. Their customer service requires improvement. I left several messages to confirm time & date but never received a callback. When calling you never get a live person, you get voicemail. Not very accommodating to their customers schedule, I was told they don’t work Saturday’s, don’t work after 5 pm and all installations must be completed by 5 pm.

We lucked out when we hired them.

We needed our gutters cleaned same day that I inquired. This company was the only one able to come out that same day. I was quoted $150 - $200 and of course it ended up costing $200. It was a 2 story gutter cleaning job, we never paid that much in the past but since we had to have it done immediately, we paid for it. Other companies have blown off the deck when they were finished cleaning the gutters, it doesn't appear this company did.
