Overall experience was below average with this company. I have a difficult schedule and asked for the first appointment of the day, which they agreed to. On the day of the appointment they were late but did not notify me (until I called). Turns out they went to another appointment first - showing up to my house 45 minutes late. The technicians were knowledgeable and completed the inside inspection, and then started outside. We ran out of time given the late start and my schedule, and they said they would complete the outside, but left before they even looked at the back side of the chimney. I contacted the company four times in the following week requesting follow-up, with promises each time that I would hear from a manager. The technician finally left me a voicemail today. Full disclosure, I never received an invoice either.

This contractor went above and beyond for us. After measuring for the necessary material to complete th eproject, they returned to cover our chimney with a tarp. That way we are protecting our interior chimney that has already been replaced, from further damage. Kudos to Swept Away Chimney.

He damaged my machine

Swept Away rebuilt our chimney ( a new liner ) and installed a wood stove. Their work was excellent. They found us a great deal on the wood stove. Highly recommend them.

If you need anything chimney related, please give this company a call. The technicians were super knowledgeable, personable, and full of integrity. I will always use and refer this company for chimney work.

They replaced the cap on my chimney. They were on time worked hard and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

I had a leak into my ceiling because the brick on one of my chimneys had become saturated with water (dark mold had appeared on the outside of the exposed bricks) and began running down into my roof. Other companies wanted huge $$ just to come out and diagnose (and they were at least a month out), and then wanted to charge on top of the diagnostic fee. Swept Away came within a few days, cleaned the outside of my chimney and waterproofed it all in one afternoon and at a very reasonable price. I was (and still am) very thankful for their quick service and great job they did (no leak after about 6 months now). However, I was disappointed that when I asked them to do the same to another of my brick chimneys (as a preventative measure since this one had no leak), they declined to do it because the chimney was "too high", and they instead referred me to another chimney company (not a good business strategy). Get some taller ladders, boys! I hope you do so I can use your services again. Overall, however, I am exceptionally pleased with the work that they completed.
