Sweepy Hollow

The guy showed up late, didn't have shoe covers and only wore his mask part of the time. He had to go to Home Depot for a part and returned with a used blower. When he left, the fireplace looked nothing like gas log fireplace. We will probably just buy a new gas log fireplace to replace the mess that he left us with.

The technician was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am a neat freak and other then our beautiful new fireplace, you would have never known anyone was there. I do not typically take the time to write a review but with Sweepy Hallow, I had too.

It didn't go. Another company has already completed the sweep and inspection and ordered the cap. I have yet to get a return call or email from Sweepy Hollow.

Excellent customer service from start to finish! We just had Sweepy Hollow come out for a total fireplace renovation - from old brass and marble to stunning stone and reclaimed wood. Everything was done exactly when Mike said it would be done - very professional work and my fireplace now looks amazing! Highly recommend Sweepy Hollow!

This was our second time using Sweepy Hollow. The first time our overall impression of the company from start to finish was so great we decided to give them a call after moving into a house without a fireplace. Again from the initial call to set-up the appointment through the end of the job Sweepy Hollow as been a pleasure to work with. Mike Walker insured that we were happy & our needs were being met through the whole process. He was always on time (if not early) & if he said he was going to do something, HE DID IT! I would recommend this company to anyone. We're looking forward to cooler temps & future chimney sweeps from Mike!

My wife and I were very very impressed with complete level of professionalism experienced by this company. We called Sweepy Hollow after being referred by friends. Our main dilemma was time as we were in a due diligence purchasing our home. When we called their office to our surprise they were able to have a technician out same or next day! Our technician was Tyler, he was amazing and nothing what anyone would expect from a chimney company. Our cleaning and report was completed onsite and emailed in real time!! Tyler also educated us on proper fireplace maintenance and how often our fireplace should be serviced. We will definitely be annual customers and refer all who is in need for a top notch service company.

I used Angieslist to find a recommended Chimney company in my area. Because of the recommendations on Angieslist and the service given by a tech named Mike Walker, I chose to call Sweepy Hollow. I called and talked to a very nice and professional lady named Amber on Monday and was able to get a tech appointment for the next day at 8:00am. The tech I was told that would be coming out was actually Mike Walker himself. As the recommendation all said, Mike was right on time. He was friendly, curious and very professional on how he gather what type of issues I was having. Mike check my fireplace in my house first and then proceeded to check the top of my chimney. Once he did his investigation, he presented his findings using an iPad. He took pictures of what he saw so he could explain and show me what he suggested needed to be done as a repair. Besides the pictures and suggested repair, he show me an actual video of the work that should be done. Besides all this impressive handling of his findings, he even found 2 opening on the bottom of the chimney stack, that could possibly be where the wasps were getting into the fireplace. He took it upon himself to caulk those 2 areas and seal the holes. All of this was part of the free estimate to the suggested repairs, even the caulking. The way I was handled first by Amber and then Mike was far and above the most I have ever been impressed by a company. Sweepy Hollow now my preferred choice for chimney issues. I highly recommend them.

Mike arrived ahead of scheduled time. He was very professional and took great care not to get chimney ash and dirt on the floors. I will diffently be using them again for our next cleaning and service. Also cleaned dryer vent. Did awesome job.

Mike showed up on time (slightly early even) and did a very through and professional job. I have had other chimney sweeps in to clean and inspect before, but Mike seemed to do a much more through job. Mike answered all of my questions and did not try to up sale us on un-needed items. He pointed out area where future repairs would be needed but gave very realistic expectations on useful life expectations.I would definitely recommend Sweepy Hollow to others.

Mike Walker came out to light and clean my ventless gas fireplace. It did not light at first and he thought I might have to replace a part, but he stuck with it and finally got it lit. I really appreciated him working an extra long time to get the fireplace lit. He did a great job. I would use this company again.

Mike was very courteous and prompt. He was very informative and explained everything he was doing. He checked out the gas logs and showed me how to light them (BIG help) and discovered a small leak in a line and repaired it. Told us what to look for in the future . He was the most polite young man we have ever encountered in our home to repair anything and it helped the whole incident go by very smoothly!!! We also feel much safer now that the dryer vent has been cleaned out too. This company has very fair prices, and heaven knows we could use that!! Thank you Sweepy Hollow!!
