Roof Care Group

This company ran a deal of the day on Groupon for $79.00. Since I have a 2-story home, and only one end of the house really needs to be cleaned, I thought this was a great deal. I called two days after purchasing the Groupon coupon to schedule a date and time. A couple of days passed and the service technician called and schedule a day for three weeks later. The day they were to arrive I received a call from from a customer service rep stating that the technician came by and they could not do the cleaning of the cutters because the roof was too steep. Okay. However, the website shows workmen on a roof just as steep, and the technician did not come by! Claims they did a drive by. Well this company is 40 miles away from my house. I think if I drove that far I would stop and explain. I work from home I know they did not come by. To make matters worse, they called again today and told me that I would have to request the refund from Groupon myself. They could not do it. After I nicely explained my displeasure with the whole experience, the customer service person rudely called me a rather insulting term (something about a donkey and a hole) as she hung up. About 15 minutes later, I received another call. This time from a gentleman. Well, I thought I was going to be apologized to. Whoa! Oh no! More lectures on why they could not perform the service. I basically told them to never call again. But no, they were not finished. About 2:30 pm today another young lady called to tell me the same lie that I had already been told why they could not do the cleaning. Told her not to ever call back! In short, they are baling on the coupon by stating that a safety issue prevents them from doing the work. In short, family run business that did an online coupon and got overwhelmed. Now they are calling customers and cancelling in order not to do the work and not loose their shirts because they priced this offer way too low and had way too many responses without enough manpower to do the work properly and timely. Would rip my gutters off the house in order to avoid using this company!
