+ -1 moreI was extremely impressed with Gene's attention to detail. He made sure that each groove was smooth and perfect. He sanded several times to make sure the entire mantle looked brand new! He was very clean and took time to make sure that my t.v. was protected. I would call him again in a heartbeat! Note: The price contained all materials needed for the project. (When you look at the picture -- you have to realize that the mantle was unprofessionally painted a dark brown -- it looked awful. Now it looks brand new!)
Description of Work: My husband tried to strip our mantle & repaint it white. He got in way over his head (bless his heart). And he was ruining the wood on the mantle -- and it was a mess! I called on Gene Diaz to give me a quote. He was recommended from a friend. I was impressed with him immediately. He was confident that he could take on this "mess" and do it professionally -- fixing the mistakes in the wood. Gene fit me into his schedule within the next week and the project only took 2 days. He communicated with me and made sure the time worked for me (I have small children). Gene worked quickly but with accuracy. He put down drop cloths and plastic around the area to protect my furniture and the hard wood flooring. He was neat and cleaned up after himself. He repaired all the damage so you would never know! He also answered questions about the project (and painting in general). He was very pleasant to work with!
