We never received a response. UPDATE: We heard from Mr. Hardwood this week. He said he had been having computer problems and did not see my initial email contact. We have now received a quote for refinishing our hardwood floors and a follow-up message asking if we had reviewed the quote and offering to schedule the work, answer questions, etc. At this point, we will wait until after the holidays to proceed with the project but were happy to hear from Mr. Hardwood and will update our review should Mr. Hardwood be selected to do the work.

We recently purchased a 56 year old home with badly worn hardwoods and dull ceramic tile. The back staircase was dangerously narrow and steep.They rebuilt the staircase making it safer and beautiful. Corey and his team did a fantastic job! They had the entire job finished days before we moved in. One floor in particular was a disaster. It had black marks that obviously had been purposely burned into the hardwood. After Mr. Hardwood was finished you would never have known that the floor was anything but perfect. We had a lot of unanticipated nail pops during the refinishing and the team was meticulous at removing and filling all problem areas. They also replaced thresholds that were dangerous. We may have a 56 year old house, but our floors look new. There were no surprises when it came to the final bill. Corey quoted us for each and every additional service we added and our final bill was exactly as he quoted.Our floors look amazing. If you have an old house with outdated wood floors, you can not imagine the life that is brought back into your home by updating the stain color and adding shine with a good finish. Everyone was very professional, and were able to get started really quickly. We had bamboo floors installed in our office, and the crew stayed late and came in early to get it all done in less than three days. We would gladly use them again in the future.

They did exactly what they said they would do! They showed up on time and left on time. The floors look new again! They did it for less than $1 per square foot and everyone else quoted $1.85 to $2.

As far the service itself was good and I think the staff is very good. The guys who came actually knows what they were talking about, he was right on time when he came to do the estimate and approximate the time correctly when they came to do the service so I would definitely recommend them. I think my expectations were wrong on what has been done. It's about $200 more that I spent. They didn't mess up my floors.

I would give those guys all A's as well. They did exactly what they said. They came when they wanted to and they did the floors. They were good guys as well. They provide a good service, I would give them A, across the board and I kind of just spend, I can't remember, I may have doubled that to do a little bit more, I can't remember but let's just say I did just what they offered.

The provider called 30 minutes prior to arrival. The service crew was polite and courteous. The service crew also gave me some good tips to keep my hardwood floors looking good.

They were truly professional. My house was VERY clean when the work was done. The floors look great. Scheduling with them was very easy. I called them to set up an appointment, they came out and scheduled right then. Everything went well with the work. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Not only did they have thousands of happy clients, which several we knew personally, but they were recognized for their expertise and service. Further, we felt that we could trust them no matter what. They repaired and restored our hardwood floors with virtually no dust and installed many iron balusters within a tight time frame. The crew punctual and respectful. Everyone who visits our home comments on how great the floors look. We would highly recommend Mr. Hardwood!

Went fine. There was a miscommunication on when the furniture would be moved back. Otherwise I am satisfied .

I was suppose to meet cory at the house. He cancelled our first appointment and rescheduled which was fine. Only he never showed up to the second appointment. I called and he never answered. That is very unprofessional.

He came out and was very responsive to my calls and on time. He was so polite and courteous during our appointment. I had more floors I needed done than the deal would cover. I decided not to have to work done.

Excellent job. Technician arrived on time and did an excellent job. I'll definitely use this company again and recommend the company to others.

Corey responded quickly to my inquiry and was able to schedule my work within a couple of weeks. He explained everything very carefully and answered all my questions (he also gave me his cell number for follow up questions that I had). His work crew showed up when scheduled and the project manager Fernando, was awesome! He showed me several stain samples and directed me to the best color for my home. The work was completed in the timeframe I was given, there was very little dust and the floors looked gorgeous!! And the company doesn't take your payment until you are 100% happy. The installation went well and quickly. Completed the entire living room in one very long day. Team was professional and the floor is just beautiful. Had one issue with the staining of the shoe molding but it was corrected to my satisfaction.

We had faith in our salesman and were told that our floors would look like they did when we moved in 6 years ago. Our floors were in very good shape but we wanted the look of bright and shiny. We were told that would not be a problem. We let the company know we have two small dogs. One is under 6 pounds and the other is 12 pounds to be sure the poly we were using could handle the pets. We were told there would be no issues. After the floor was complete, we noticed within a couple of days, thin scratches in the poly. We contacted the salesman and he agreed to come out and look. He assured us that they would make it right bc the poly had not been applied correctly. We scheduled this for after the holidays and by the time they retruned the floors looked terrible. We wanted our old floors back, but knew that they were going to redo it. We then received a call from the owner who told us that the floors were not repairable with just poly and that we would need to pay an additional $4,000.00 on top of the $2,000.00 to redo the floors in their entirety. It would be the only way they would guarantee their work. We were told that there was a contaminent in the floor and that was the problem not the poly. We asked why the contaminent had never shown up until they came to service the floors and they did not know. They then decided that the floor cleaner we used was the contaminent. I wish that they had asked more questions because we may not have used them if there was a possibility of paying $2,000 and then an additional $4,000 at that time since that exceeded the budget i had set aside for the floors. That being said, the "re-do" was done timely, professionally and the floors look great. So, my overall impression is that i think that things could have been more transparent and forthright.

Everything was fine, but they don’t service my area. I wish that they had better specified the service boundaries of their Deal. I will be getting a refund.

I was pleased with the rep. and with his company. Because it needed more work I chose not to go with the deal.

The owner of the company responded quickly, came to my house & explained to me the process of buffing & polishing my hardwood. He was very pleasant & very proud of the quality of his companies work. I made an appointment for them to come back & do the job. The day of the appointment the gentleman that came was over 2 hours late in arriving. When he finally arrived & set up, he performed the job VERY quickly and was VERY quickly out the door. He wasn't rude but his customer service skills were not great. As the floor was wet, I was not able to check out the quality of the job he did until later in the day. Once I was able to walk around & look at the floor - I was very disappointed. It didn't look any different, in fact it looked a little worse in places. The floor was not in bad condition in the first place, I just thought it would look even nicer being lightly sanded & polished. I just assumed you "get what you pay for" and didn't call to complain. The owner called me a week or so later to check and see if I was pleased. I shared with him my experience and he told me he'd come out & look himself & take care of "making it right". As of today, 11/30/12 - I have not seen him nor received another call from him. For obvious reasons I would not use these people again nor recommend their services.

lousy job very poorly done but owner did give me a refund

When I called to schedule the appointment, Cory answered the phone and scheduled a day to come to my home to give an estimate. A few days later, he came in a limo.. this was quite interesting and creative. Cory has to go to many homes everyday to provide estimates and meet his clients, so he has a personal driver. He literally works in his limo. He took measurement of my home, explained the process of hardwoord floor cleaning, and answered my questions. He is a very nice person! His two man staff came to my home at the scheduled time. They worked very hard and finished the work (1000 sq feet) in 2 hours. They were polite and cleaned up after they finished. They even vacuumed part of my basement because there was some dust from their equipments. I told them they I didn't have to do this, but they insisted. These guys are very committed to their work. Great work ethics! My hardwoord floors looks like new- it is shiny (not over the top ) and makes me want to walk barefeet . The smell subsided after 24 hours. Thank you Mr. Hardwoord- you gave our home a new life! We willl definitely call you again.

We had difficulty scheduling service, but work was performed and is satisfactory. Additionally the owner came by my home to inspect his teams work and gave me a lifetime warranty on the job. Nice guy to work with.

No follow up or phone call back at all.

They arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. They were very polite, respectful, and professional. We were very impressed that the owner stayed from start to finish and provided very helpful advise regarding care of our floors. They cleaned the work site before leaving and completed the entire job to our satisfaction. We will definately recomend the Company and will use them again.
