I am absolutely floored (pun intended) by our experience with Mr. Hardwood. I tend to be a little gun-shy about major home projects, but John's kindness, professionalism, and sense of humor put me immediately at ease. The level of personal attention and care he took was extraordinary. John was personally invested in our project, and eager to deliver a beautiful finished product as efficiently and painlessly as possible. I'm thrilled with the result. Every step of the process was thoughtfully tailored to our needs and preferences. Cristiano and the team were punctual, thorough, and highly professional. This was, hands down, the best customer service experience of my life. Furthermore, our stunning new floors have transformed our entire house. This was easily worth the investment, and I'd recommend Mr. Hardwood in a heartbeat to anyone looking to upgrade their floors.

Came home that night to what appeared to be a totally new house. The laminate flooring made the living room appear warm and inviting and complimented our living room furniture nicely. The quality was very good and we were quite pleased with the results. Overall I'm definitely impressed with how easy and smoothly the entire process played out from the estimating to the installation. They've definitely earned my future business. I highly recommend Mr. Hardwood.

the specialist came and did a consultation. I was impressed with his knowledge and insight into the different types of flooring and stain, especially on my historic home. The price was a little higher compared to others, but the service and the quality makes it worth the additional cost, based on what I've seen with other flooring professionals. I would definitely use them again when the time (and budget) allows. A great experience!

Initially, I sent an email on Mar 7 using the company's website requesting information about their services. I received a somewhat timely email response. In my reply, I stated that I would call the company to schedule a free estimate. I called and was told that Corey was in meetings, but would contact me.later that day or the following day. I emailed him again on March 18--no response. Finally, I called and spoke directly with Corey, He apologized and stated that sometimes the front staff responds to those emails, so he may have not been the one to actually send it. Nevertheless, I explained my project to him (giving him the estimated square footage and desired flooring type) and what I wanted. We agreed on a time for the estimate and he was going to bring samples for me to see. On the day before the estimate, I called to confirm. He didn't have me on his schedule at all! After talking to him, he finally remembered our conversation and said that he would put his lead manager/salesman on the job--Jeremiah. Several days later, Jeremiah called me, and we made arrangements for the free estimate. At the time of our call, I tried to give him an alternate number (my home number) as a back up. Before I could explain to him that it was in case I didn't have a signal and missed his called, he interrupted me and asked why I needed to give him a number since he already had a number. I admit, it did rub me the wrong way a bit, because he 1)interrupted me in mid speech and 2) seemed a little perturbed by me giving him a different number (which was odd). I did share my displeasure with him, and he said he was just trying to understand. I thought to myself, "If you had let me finish, you would have understood". We ended the conversation with me not giving him the number b/c in all honesty, I believe we both probably had a not-so-warm-and-fuzzy demeanor by that time.. A few days before the scheduled estimate, he called me to see if we could reschedule b/c he wanted to take his family somewhere for spring break. I'm a mom, and my husband dotes on his kids, so I appreciated his desire to spend time with his family. I dismissed our earlier misunderstanding to me just being tired and edgy from work, and warmly agreed to the reschedule for 4/14. The day before our re-scheduled appointment, he called me to see if he could come earlier. He called again the morning of our appointment. Unfortunately, we live in the boonies, and as my father-in-law states, we get Wednesday's news on Friday. Seriously, I did not have a good mobile signal, and missed his calls. I realized this after checking my voicemail. I really regretted not getting his calls because an earlier time would have been better for me as well. I called him immediately upon hearing his voicemail messages, which was about 30 minutes before our scheduled meeting, and I got his voicemail. I apologized for missing the calls and reiterated why I had tried to give him the alternate number. However, I confirmed that I would be waiting for him for our 10 am appointment. I know that his drive from Marietta to my house was far, so I understood him wanting to confirm before traveling to my home. I totally understand. However, I would hope that the company's salesmen are being compensated for mileage. After receiving my voicemail message and confirmation, and since we never agreed on the earlier time, I expected him to call me back, apologize for our phone tag, and offer to reschedule again. As of today, 4/25, I have not heard from him. From talking to him and Corey, I got the feeling that they were not really interested in my "small" job since I was not doing my entire house. Oh well, potential customer lost...

I found Mr. Hardwood Inc. through my search on Angies List. We had recently purchased our first home and knew that we wanted the existing carpet out (not compatible with 2 dogs and a cat), and the original wood (circa 1969) re-finished. Jeremiah came very promptly, and was able to provide a quote within 24 hours. After mulling over what we wanted to do with my better half, we decided to go with Mr. Hardwood. We were on a tight deadline, as we wanted to have the floors done for Christmas, and it was now the beginning of December. Mr. Hardwood was able to get a crew and wood out within days of executing our agreement. Very impressed with their expediency. Fernando and his crew were very professional and did a very high quality job. The job did go a little longer than originally anticipated, but they were very good about communicating and explaining reasoning behind any delays. I would always prefer that things be done right, then on time, and that was the feeling that I got from them, they wanted to get it right and weren't overly concerned about having to put in an extra day. I appreciated that very much. Overall, very pleased, and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Corey is extremely knowledgeable and informative, and Katie was great in coordinating everything since I was out of town while the work was being done. Did what they were supposed to, on time and as quoted... quality work with no surprises. Would use again.

Mr. Hardwood did a fantastic job on refinishing the floors in my home. After researching several contractors I landed on Mr. Hardwood based on the many reviews from Angie?s List. From the initial visit with John to the final inspection with Leo the entire process went smoothly. I was thoroughly impressed with John and Leo?s punctuality, communication, education and experience as it related to the job. Any concerns that I had, they were addressed very quickly. Although I was hesitant at first with getting darker floors, both John and Leo reassured me that it was the best color that would cover the stains that were embedded in the wood. I can?t say enough about the final look and how impressed I am with the company. Just like the other outstanding reviews, I can attest that Mr. Hardwood is the best of the best. I definitely would use them again and recommend them to others!! Thanks for a job well done!!.

The repair went well and they completed a perfect match to our hardwood color from 10 years ago. I would use them again and will recommend to my friends.

Paid a fraction of the cost other companies wanted to charged to refinishing my hard wood floors and got professional results.Other companies wanted over $5,000,i paid $2,150 Will use them again to do my kitchen and bathroom tiles.Give this company a serious chance.

They were rude and once the quote was provided they were supposed to follow up with a wood sample the next day. They never showed up or called.

John Kisor came to the house to give us an estimate. He had a very positive can-do attitude about the project, which was impressive as our 1930s house had some challenges - an uneven floor and difficult tie-ins with the other older hardwood floors. He was willing to use the Waterlox product in place of the polyurethane, which took 4 days to apply due to drying time (as opposed to the single day possible with a water-based product). Good price, good attitude. The crew that did the work were polite, hardworking, an efficient. The problems that we had were mostly issues of fine craftsmanship. As our floor was difficult and required some fiddly types of solutions, my wife and I had to call a number of times to get things fixed. John was always right on top of it and genuinely wanted us to be perfectly happy with the result. Other than a burn mark and a couple of closet thresholds that have gaps (no big thing as they're closets), the work was tight and well done. I would recommend them as they were fast and responsive and the price was good. My advice would be to supervise them closely and deal directly with the project manager (who always responded to our desire for little fixes quickly even though it would slow down the job), rather than the crew (who understandably wanted to get the job done quickly).

From beginning to end this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider. Jeremiah Reed, our salesperson, was very punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. He was probably the main reason we chose Mr. Hardwood for his knowledge of the product and the process. This was our first flooring redo that we have had in our house and we were very ignorant of the entire process. He explained everything that would happen and put us at ease. He was also straight up with us throughout the entire process. When we ordered hardwood that was not in stock, he told us it would take 3 weeks to arrive, one week to sit in our house to get acclimated and three days to install. That was exactly what happened. The crew was here on time, everyday they said they would be and did a fabulous job. The work area was picked up everyday and I couldn't be anymore pleased with how the flooring turned out. The best part is, my wife is happy and that's all that counts.

A salesman from Mr. Hardwood came to my home to confirm that my job met the square footage requirements for the Angie's List deal they had posted; "refinish w/top coat under 700 ft2" which it did meet. He later emailed a quote for $725.00. I responded why it went up and he never returned my email. I then got 2 quotes from other companies and they both quoted $400.00 which included dustless sanding (aka...screening),buff and one top coat using a Bona product. I selected TK Wood Flooring in Lilburn, GA and was very satisfied with the results.

They did a really good job and I feel like I got a really good price. They were very professional and very dedicated to do a really good job. They came back and touched up a few areas that needed it. They were exceptional, changed the whole look of the house and it really turned out nice.

It was in March when I had my floors installed. It's now July, and my husband and I LOVE the floors. The crew for Mr. Hardwood was exceptional! We set our consultation appointment up at our convenience, which was the very next day. The entire crew was very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, thorough, and accessible through the entire process. We have a one bedroom, one bath, condo in Midtown that we would like to rent out. They brought many samples of the wood for me and my husband to choose from. The crew only took one day to install them. We are going to use them again.

My floors now look exceptional thanks to Mr. Hardwood. I have old heart pine floors, which are extremely hard to sand, but Mr. Hardwood did a great job. Communication betwen Corey (owner) and I was great and easy! He was able to get the job done quickly and around the July 4th holiday and worked with my schedule. He always returned my phone calls quickly and kept me in the loop. The crew that worked at my house would also call me and fill me in on how things were going. The floors were completed in the time frame they had proposed. The floors look great and I couldn't be happier. I am super picky and had high expectations - Mr. Hardwood delivered! I would recommend Mr. Hardwood to anyone.

This job took place over the course of a year wherein we were redoing a house and a condo that had severe water damage. Corey has different teams of people that lay laminate and prefinished hardwoods and teams that lay new unfinished hardwoods. Essentially we had Corey and his company do multiple kinds of flooring. They all came out beautifully. The work took place in sections so that we could take the time to address the house floor by floor. We really appreciated Corey working with our time frame and coming to do each section as we needed. We originally got his name from the condo association where he has been doing work for years. The rules are very strict in the condo with regard to the hours they can work, how the material has to be removed and carried in, and with all the floors in the public areas protected. It is critical in the building that they follow a prescheduled time and work in an efficient manner. They did a great job on all of the floors and moved all of the furniture in and out of the rooms. Mr. Hardwood is great to work with and we would definitely recommend him. They pay a lot of attention to detail and care about your happiness with the final work and finishes. Hopefully we won't be replacing any floors for a long time, but when and if we ever need to, we would absolutely use Corey again. Great Job!

We had our existing hardwoods refinished and new hardwoods installed on the back staircase and upstairs. We knew this was going to be a big project, and had frankly been dreading it but Corey, Jeremiah and their team made it as easy and unintrusive as possible! They were on time for the initial appointment, were very knowledgable about the process, answered questions and made helpful suggestions, and gave a very detailed, fair quote. They communicated the timeframe and required homeowner preparations effectively. The work crew showed up on time...they were polite and efficient and made things as convenient as possible for us. The work was finished on time and the results are fabulous! I was truly amazed at how little dust there was! I highly recommend Mr. Hardwood to anyone who is considering refinishing or installing hardwoods!

I had it set up to do the living room and hall and THEN the bedrooms. They used 2 different installers. I liked the second installer best. The only problem was the threshold did not match the floor when I had the living room done but the salesperson restained the threshold. The first installer really did not care that the threshold did not match. That is the only reason I gave responsiveness a B. My sales person was wonderful to work with! He fixed the problem immediately.

Mr. Hardwood did a great job removing the carpeting inn our home and installing oak hardwood floors. We had 4 rooms, 3 closets and 2 landings done and Mr. Hardwoods crew was finished in 5 days.
