Working with this company was a pleasure from the start. John arrived when scheduled, answered all my questions, and never pressured me. One question I had was whether he thought I needed the floors refinished, rather than the "buff and coat" that was actually the Big Deal. He thought that yes, they would be hugely improved, and that in fact if I did just buff and coat, the marks and dents would be emphasized. So after thinking about it, I decided to do the refinishing, and I called him to schedule. The 3 man crew arrived 9am on a Monday, and finished on that Friday of the same week. They were very careful with my furniture, which was really important to me - one piece is an antique and kind of fragile. Brandon (head of the crew that did the work) was very patient with all my questions, and prepared a 'spot' on the floor to show me (on Wed I think) what the stain I had chosed would look like, once it was done. They also moved the furniture around a bit, when the floors were done, as I wanted them exactly where they were before. Lastly, they gave me instructions on the post-refinishing care of my floors, and again answered tons of questions! Good guys. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work done in a respectful manner. I'm really glad to have Angie's List to find these kinds of professionals.

Mr Hardwood employees moved all of my furniture (which included three large bookcases) into the two rooms with tiled floors, which meant that I did not have to go to the trouble or expense of renting a pod for storage. The furniture was treated carefully. I was given a choice of several stain colors, which one employee painted onto a patch of flooring so I could get a clear idea of which color I preferred. After allowing the floors to dry, the workers replaced my furniture, after putting protective felt on the bottom of each piece. The finished floors look great. They brighten my home and make it look cleaner.

His price was too high but he was nice and polite. If they lower their price I will consider using them in the future.

Mr. Corey Ford from Mr. Hardwood Inc. showed up promptly at our assigned time to quote repairing our existing hardwoods on our first floor as well as removing the existing carpet in our family room and our sitting room and replacing it with hardwoods. He was very professional and easy to talk with during our initial consultation and throughout the installation. He listened to our concerns and understood our situation. I was very pleased with his quote and told him I would get back to him once we finished our interview process with the other hardwood providers we were meeting with. Other then this quote, I received five others. Corey's quote was very competitive but not the lowest one so instead of just going with the cheapest quote, even though we were doing a major renovation, I decided to call Corey and explain my situation to him because we liked him above the others. He answered the phone late on a Friday night and listened as I explained that we were moving internationally and that I has a specific budget to stick with as we were doing several different upgrades to the home to place it on the market. We talked for a few minutes and he agreed to meet the price I has been given by a competitor. He worked around my time frame as our move was bumped up a week and showed up on the first day to remove all of the carpet and begin installing new hardwoods in two of our first floor rooms. Over the next week sanded the existing hardwoods and stained the entire first floor hardwoods finishing up in five days. I felt comfortable giving him a key to our home and did not view the work until the final day. That's how much I trusted him and his crew to be efficient and prompt with our installation and refinishing. I highly recommend Mr. Hardwood Inc and his entire crew. They were able to complete a large job within the time frame I had given them, they worked long days to ensure our home would be market ready and they were friendly and made us feel comfortable having access to our home without us supervising. The hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful! You cannot tell where the previous hardwoods were and the new hardwoods begin. They transition is seamless and the finished result is amazing. They even took the time to frame our fireplace with wood in our living room and to make sure that the floors looked perfect throughout. They even added some extra wood underneath our stove and dishwasher where we had replaced the builder's appliances and it had left a gap underneath. Corey and his crew were the most professional, honest, quality focused and reasonably priced contractor I have dealt with in many years. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience. You cannot go wrong when you call these folks.

Mr. Hardwood Inc. refinished our wood floors and replaced some of the stairs, The job was completed on schedule and totally to our satisfaction. The owner of the compnay was heavily involved in the project and his employees were accommodating and very service oriented. We highly recommend Mr. Hardwood Inc. for all of your wood flooring needs.

Corey's company is wonderful! I had my floors beautifully redone by his crew within a week of calling for a quote. Corey and his crew were very professional. The price was very competitive, the quality of the products they used on the floors is great, and the almost dust free system they used required very little dusting from me when they were done. Overall a beautiful job and I would definately recommend and hire them again.

Went pretty and they did a good job.

He came and looked at the floors, gave an estimate and told me exactly what they would do and what would be covered. He gave me a written estimate, we set up a date and they called early yesterday morning to confirm the date. They called to let me know the crew was on the way, they were punctual, polite and handled everything. There was no dust or anything. We moved everything out of the kitchen, I think there is an extra charge if they have to do any moving. It went exactly as they said and we are very pleased. We have already given them a recommendation to some friends.
