Description of Work: They were to treat the yard with a pre-emergent. They were prompt and very professional. However, my lawn was packed with crabgrass this spring. I regretted paying them to come when I should have treated it myself with a bag of pre-emergent from Lowe's.

 + 0 moreThe quality of the work was excellent. The pond and walkway are beautiful. Richard Allen, the owner, has a real eye for aesthetics, and suggested improvements that hadn't occurred to me (such as creating a mini-waterfall in addition to the main waterfall from the top pond to the lower pond). I have worked with Richard before, and have always noticed his 'eye for beauty' -- which is one of the reasons why I hired Dreadscapes. The project took a little longer than expected because the water flow had to be tweeked over a few days, but that's normal for a water scape and I expected it. During the project, the team did a few extra tasks, such as re-hanging a fence gate that was hanging too low, and incorporating some special stones that I had bought previously into the walkway. I'm very pleased with the results!
Description of Work: I hired Dreamscapes to rebuild a small 2-level fishpond, create an attractive walkway around the pond, and connect the walkway to a different area in the yard.

From the design work to the professionalism of their crew, we cannot say enough about the team at Dreamscapes. The owner, Richard Allen, runs a great business and quite simply, they exceeded our expectations. He has great vision and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. This is a top notch organization and, after our experience with the project in the back yard, we have definitely found the landscaper who will take care of our yard for years to come.
Description of Work: Landscaping of back yard including complete design work, grading of back yard into three levels/terraces, sod installation, irrigation, patio installation, pine straw and transplanting of several trees. We also hired them to do our planting of annual flowers in the front of our home.

 + 0 moreDream Scapes did something I really did not like. I specifically asked them to hand prune only but one day they brought their electric clippers and shaved my shrubs without being asked to do so. Then they were supposed to cut the grass and just blow but someone took the limbs off the bottom of my trees. I was pretty upset about the limbs being taken off my trees because I used those trees to provide shade and to protect my home from golf balls. I would never hire this company again.
Description of Work: Last time Dream Scapes was out to my home they did a lot of things they were not asked to do. Their services are supposed to include mowing the lawn which is 3200 square feet, doing the edging, keeping the bed weed free and applying fertilizer seven times a year. They charge me monthly for their services.
