Everything went fine.

After paying for 'the deal', the plumber came to 'size' up the job and to let me know if it could be done within the amount of time I had paid for. THankfully it was. I was not charged for this visit which pleasantly surprised me. He returned on the agreed upon day and arrived punctually. The work I had done was a smaller part of a larger renovation where I was essentially performing the role of general contractor on my own job. He completed the work (basically a rough-in) efficiently and told me when I got ready to finish it, call him and he'd do me right on the price which I most likely will.

Punctual, knowledgeable and friendly! The price couldn't be beat and their professionalism was nice to see in this age of dying customer service! They made sure that I fully understood the situation and advised me to take the matter up with the city instead of charging me more money for unnecessary repairs.

I was contacted right after I purchased the Big Deal to set up an appointment. I was called three times to let me know when I could expect the service person that day and he did arrive within the two hour window they gave me -- great communication. The service requested was done quickly and professionally and he gave me great instruction and tips on a number of plumbing questions around the house. Very satisfied and would definitely use them again with, or without, a Big Deal.

Showed up on time, finished job pretty quick. Everything works great. Cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. New shower panel was a little less deep so they had to solder new pipe connectors.

Scheduling the appointment was quick and efficient and Rob came out this afternoon to do the work. He was very courteous and professional and after completing the job he gave me some good tips on what can and cannot be put into the garbage disposal. I also had Rob give me an estimate to replace an 18 year old gas water heater. Based on my experience with the garbage disposal replacement I'll be on the lookout for another Big Deal from American Freedom so I can hire them for that job too. Excellent overall experience so I have nothing but positive comments.

Excellent. AFP dispatched an experience plumber (Matt) who understood the work and did a prompt analysis of the work and completed the jobs without defects.

Had leaky faucet. Saw Angie's List "Big Deal" as a subscribing member and had American Freedom Plumbing come out today to do the repair. Everything went the way any customer would be happy with. Matt was the technician. He was punctual, professional, and completed service in friendly manner. "A" rating al the way around. Would definitely use them again.

The work was performed as requested. The plumber discovered that the service requested was not the source of the problem. He pointed out the correct cause of the issue and proceeded to correct it. The price was fair and the work was performed to my satisfaction. I would be more than happy to highly recommend this company to anyone, and would call on them for any future plumbing needs.

American Freedom Plumbing was prompt, efficient and provided service with a smile. My serviceman, Matt, was superb and explained all issues and related cost as he performed repairs. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received. I used a Angie's List coupon for the initial $59.00.

UPDATE: They are issuing a refund check to cover the amount I paid to someone else to redo the work. So I am changing the score from a D to a C. They got the water lines backwards so the hot and cold water were mixed up. The toilets rocked and the vanities had large gaps from the walls. I was not happy at all as I used a different contractor to fix the errors and had to pay to have the work redone.

They determined that I did not have a leak as they cut a hole and could not find a leak. They did have some issues with scheduling initially but it did get handled in the end. They did not bring the proper equipment on the first visit and the second visit was confused as far as scheduling. They get everything handled. They were very professional and the issues were resolved with no problems.

The plumber arrived on time. I asked that he look into reconfiguring the plumbing under my sink to gain more cabinet space. He explained how long it would take and the material cost. He was honest and sincere, but did not try to sway my decision. I felt the cost of that project was too much with too little space gained, so we moved to the next problem. I explained that two toilets occassionally backed up. He traced the problem to an improper connection that had been made during a previous remodel, explained it in detail and gave me the price of the materials and said we would apply the remainder of my "2 hours of labor" to the job, but it would probably take a little longer. He went to the supply house for the necessary parts (during his lunch hour and returned and fixed the problem. I was so impressed that I asked about moving the water shut off. Their price was significantly less that I had been previously quoted and I asked when he could do it. He had the parts necessary for that on his truck and said he could do it then, or reschedule another visit, whichever I preferred. He was very considerate about turning off the water and keeping me informed of when it would be off and for how long. The job went smoothly and quickly, and I am so happy to get it done so reasonably! He cleaned up all his materials and tools, then swept the area where he had been working before he left. This gentleman was professional and considerate, and has restored my faith in plumbers!

Very clean install. James was very professional and performed the work efficiently. The hose bib looks much better than the original.

Needed to replace 20 year old leaky faucet. Purchased a new faucet thinking I'd replace it myself. At the same time Angie's List had a Big Deal I couldn't refuse. American Freedom Plumbing, Matt Vaughn was the plumber, was right on time and installed the new fixture in under 2 hours. He had to replace some of the drain pipe and provided new supply connection lines. He did this at no charge! Matt also gave me some good advice on some toilets I want to replace. I plan on replacing 2 toilets and the remaining 3 bathroom sink fixtures and will definitely be looking for American Freedom Plumbing to this work for me. Hopefully I can purchase another Big Deal!

I noticed a Big Deal posting for American Freedom for 2 hours of labor at $99. I also noticed that all of the previous reviews for American Freedom were very good. While looking at the Big Deal I noticed there was another one for water heater replacement. I called James to get more info about the water heaters they use and to see if I wanted to buy the deal for replacement or buy my own from Lowes or Home Depot and use the 2 hour labor deal to have one of his plumbers handle the install. I called James on a Saturday. He answered the questions I had and even though one of the deals was about to expire, he said I could still use it. He called me back on Monday as agreed and I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Rob arrived at the scheduled time on Tuesday to handle the repairs. He checked out the water heater and then I showed him the other jobs I was interested in getting resolved while he was there - both showers had leaky faucets and one toilet wouldn't shut off when filling. After he wrote up the quote, I agreed to do the following: big deal for the water heater replacement, big deal for 2 hours of labor at $99, and the toilet repair (could've done this one but decided to have Rob go ahead and take care of it while he was here and have all current issues resolved). Rob did a great job on the work which also involved adding a thermal expansion tank to bring the water heater to code. One of the faucet repairs didn't cooperate which caused Rob to stay over longer than expected. He had to do some extra work and also had to go through sheetrock from the closet to get to the fixture to complete the repair. Rob did not charge extra for this added work and the sheetrock cuts were neat so that the original pieces can be reused to repair the wall. Also, part of the cast iron drain pipe had to be replaced with pvc to resolve another leak at the tub. I am pleased with the work that Rob did and am glad I had him do the faucet repair instead of trying it myself - especially after the work he put into it to properly fix it (sounds like it should have been a simple repair but it wasn't). The next time I need plumbing service I plan to call James at American Freedom first and I will ask if Rob is available to come out. My main concern when I knew I needed a new water heater was who to call? With the big deal offer and the good recommendations on Angie's List for American Freedom from previous customers my decision was made easier.

I always call the company before purchasing the "Deal" to ensure that their availability matches my schedule and that their services are appropriate for what I need (i.e. 40 gallon tank versus another custom tank). At any rate, the receptionist was helpful and I was able to schedule service 48 hours after purchasing the deal. On the date of service, Matt arrived within the 9-11am window and even called ahead to say that he was about 15 minutes away. He quickly surveyed our hot water heater and the part requirements for the job. He then went to the warehouse and got an appropriately sized new hot water heater and installed it quickly. He was very courteous and quite efficient. We have had no problems and enjoying our new hot water tank!

Very nice job and the best price. Both Matt was on time very polite and they clean everything after they finish change my water heater. I will define use them again and refer they service to my friends.

Excellent service. I will be calling them back as soon as the holidays are over and we can get the work done. I am confident they will do a great job. I asked for an estimate via their website and someone called right away. The guys came out and blew us away with their insights. They were courteous and honest. Great company.

I called James told him I was having with my tankless water heater. He came with in two hours looked at the problem spotted it right away and fixed it. He showed me what he had done. I would use this company in the future.

When it came time to do the work James and his crew were prompt, PUNCTUAL, courteous and professional. They made minimal disturbances getting all their equipment inside, and up to the second floor. They worked quickly, neatly and diligently. They cleaned up their entire work area so that when they left it looked just like it did before they got there only with all the plumbing work fixed and in its appropriate place. We have been more then pleased with American Freedom Plumbing and give them our highest recommendation. James and his crew remain our "go-to" for all our plumbing needs.
