The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They were here just a little over an hour and did a perfect job! We would highly recommend the company.

They removed the old deck work, replaced with new, and extended the size of the deck. Within 24 hours I had a new deck. They use top shelf materials. All the materials and work were on site, where they cleaned up well after the service. Since the service, we haven't had any issues. If I have any questions, I can always call. After the service, we had a concern about the railings. We did not realize what the railings we picked would look like on the deck, we did not like the end result, and Allatoona Renovations came out right away to further help me switching to a different type of railing. They did without an extra cost. During the duration of this project I had lots of communication with Wes and he was very professional.

* * * * * * BUYER BEWARE!!!!! * * * * * * They seemed knowledgeable, reasonable and honest at first meeting and subsequent meetings thereafter.? Boy was I wrong!? The project started out a little slow, took a very long time.? Quality of the materials they provided was poor; could have selected better posts and timber without knots, splintering and bark.? I provided the composite decking materials.? The quality of the install was also very poor.? Stair steps that are not properly spaced or supported, poorly cut miter joints, leaks that still persist, hand rails that have many splinters.? They even cut down to the ground a mature rhododendron without asking first.? Now I have a stump which they said will re-grow; it is not going to come back.? And I also must say that the work area (my backyard) was a complete mess when they were 'done'.? Nails, screws, small materials and garbage strewn across the back yard.? Plus all of the items they removed from the deck before tear down, were left in the yard and not put back into place. There appears to have been many cost cuts done from using inferior materials to incomplete or inaccurate resolution of problems as the work progressed.? Most of the 'punch list' items were 'addressed' but not all were resolved. I again exchanged email with the owner today to get a commitment when the outstanding issues will be corrected.? What I received back was a nasty message that indicates to me that they do not want to stay in business very long. My overall recommendation for anyone reading this would be to AVOID ALLATOONA RENOVATIONS!? Although there is a scattering of reviews on the internet about this company, there seems to be the same text used in multiple sites all giving 'praise'.? I can only assume that these 'reviews' are fabricated.? DO NOT BE MISLED by these reviews.? I paid good money to have a new deck built with quality materials and quality workmanship.? Came to bid on the job, wasted 2.5 hours of my time on a work night, then never submitted a bid. I followed up with him asking to let me know one way or another and still nothing. No "no thanks", "Not interested", "blah blah". Terrible performance.

They did a really nice job. They’re really professional, on time and completed the job earlier than we expected. We would definitely use them again.

Their price was reasonable, the work was well done, and they were easy to work with. I think they are great. You need to get in the queue because they are quite popular.
