 + -1 moreAs reported to me (I'm the landlord not on site): Mark VanDyke came punctually on short notice as the furnace was not functioning. To Allatoona's credit they did not charge for the service call which included the diagnosis and repair estimate(s). His diagnosis of my (roughly) 15 year old furnace was "defective Ignition control module with pilot assembly". Estimate: $560 to replace. Alternatively he estimated the entire furnace replacement at $2,350. My property manager had another (unaffiliated) technician check it out. A blocked vent was causing the problem. He unblocked it. The furnace returned to normal operation. No new parts required. Also, Mr. VanDyke mis-dated both estimates. One was dated 2/28/2014, the other was 4/26/2014. The actual property visit was in late March.

 + -1 moreI do use them both personally and professionally. I am a builder and I have used them in the when I was building. I am actually using them right now for a small project. The home end of it, their service has always been excellent. They are reasonably priced.
Description of Work: Allatoona Heating & Cooling installed a new system for me last summer. They come out and do tune-up work for me.

 + -1 moreI use them to service my heating and air so when I needed a dryer vent installed I called them. I knew it would probably be a difficult job because when I renovated my house the laundry area was moved into a hall closet. I knew the vent would have to either go up through the roof or attic or down through the floor to the basement crawl space to get outside. I was really worried about it but when Steve and Kevin arrived they immediately put me at ease and said they would find the best way to install it. After looking outside around my house they were able to find the vent from the previous location and were able to run the vent down through the floor and connect to it....problem solved!! I am happy to recommend them, my son and daughter-in-law also use them and we have found them to be an honest company with a great staff of workers.

 + -1 moreFrom arrival to leaving, I was satisfied with the work done. I had all my questions answered and was informed at every step of this service call.
Description of Work: My downstairs air conditioning unit stopped cooling, I called them at 6:30 PM. I had a service appointment arranged the next day for between 12 and 2. They arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had my unit working. They checked the pressures and made sure that the unit was cooling properly before leaving.
