Advanced Septic Inc

Work originally performed in April 2014 and I gave them a good review. It seems Cliff, the employee doing the work, was a shining example of efficiency, hard work and customer service. After installing our system (tank, pump, lines) by himself there were a few hiccups and he talked me through them and offered to come out after hours for free if I couldn't figure it out. I thought that was awesome. So fast forward a year and a half. One of the pipes is loose in my tank which was a result of a prior contractor (pink plumber). I needed it repaired, the tank pumped and quotes for a new pump. I like to have back up in case there's a problem. Dart (the owner I think) returned my call the next day and was not helpful. I had already talked to Cliff and unfortunately he no longer works there ... but he was still very helpful. Dart informed me he had too many items on the shelf to even give me an estimate on spare pump cost. And even though I was offering to pay for work I'm given the, "It'll be $150 for my guy to even come out and look at it" spiel. Kind of surprising since typically contractors give free estimates. Even more surprising seeing as I'd already paid $5800 for a system so you'd think he'd realize I was good for a bit more. Conscientious employee gone --- customer service gone. I have called another septic service out who gave me a free estimate and will be smacked with Benjamins this afternoon. I will do no more business with Advanced. There seems to be no way I can retract my previous review :(

I called Advanced Septic, Inc. this morning based on the reviews I read on Angie's List and I'm glad that I did. I called several other companies before calling Advanced Septic and they either couldn't come to the house today, or they didn't know what time they could be there. Clifford came to the house within a couple of hours, immediately diagnosed the problem, inspected the leach lines and pumped out the septic tank. Clifford was extremely knowledgable and professional and I will most definitely call him again in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ADVANCED SEPTIC, INC.

I called late on Friday afternoon and they had someone at our house by Saturday at 9 am to help with the overflowing of the tank (yuck). The line was immediately cleared and then draining properly into the tank instead of overflowing above ground. They also emptied the tank. The person doing the job was very careful around our landscaping and after he left it was very clean. Almost as if we had not had any digging done! The cost was reasonable; we are very pleased and plan on using this company in the future.

The business owner came to my house and gave me an estimate and explained the process and the optional methods of accomplishing the replacement. He explained that the process is leaves your yard a mess. He provided me,with contact info for getting the prerequisite soil test and certification of suitability for a septic system. He advised me to get those steps done and then call him back. When I called back we agreed on a date to replace the lines. He showed up right on time with another worker, his son. They showed me the materials they would use and we discussed the various routes he recommended and I chose a route. I pointed out the plants I'd like to save and the dog grave he should avoid. They dug up the plants an set them aside and replanted the them and moved and replaced the dog's headstone. The completed the replacement in one day, and the yard was scarred, but looked much better than I expected it to. The next day they came back to pump the tank, cleaned up the street where the excavator left muddy tracks, I paid the agreed-on price and they left.

I called Advance Septic about 8:00 AM, explained the situation, and by 9:00 AM Advance was on at my house, and by 10:00 AM the trouble was cleared and my drains were flowing again. The man that came out was very professional and knowledgeable... I would have no reservations about using Advanced Septic again... Great job/service...

This is by far the best Plumbing/Septic company I have ever used. Clifford showed up early and found the problem right away. He explained exactly what needed to be done. There were roots in the line between the septic tank and the field. He dug up the old line and had it fixed in just over an hour. Problem gone. I had 4 other companies give me quotes and not one of them was even close.

Pump on septic system was not working. Circuit breaker was continually being triggered. I called several septic system companies to discuss the problem. Most said the pump was probably bad and would need to be replaced, at an estimated cost of $800-$1200. I selected the company that had a lower estimate for replacing the pump and a reasonable service call charge of $150, which would be applied to final cost of repairs. Technician came the next day. He determined the problem was simply a bad outlet into which the pump was plugged. The pump didn't need replacing. He replaced the outlet, and everything worked fine. I'm not confident that another company would have saved me the cost of replacing the pump.

Mr. Kendall is very dependable and very reasonable pricing, we will call again and do recommend highly. Thank You dear sir for calling us even when out of town. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas

I called left a message they called me back the next day I scheduled an appointment they showed up did the work and cleaned up.

I discovered the septic was backing up on Tuesday morning around 7:00 am. I called around and the other companies said it would be late in the day or the next day before they could do it. When I called Advanced they said they would be out within the hour and quoted me $300. They were there in 45 minutes. They did a great job and charged me what they quoted.

Cliff arrived exactly on time. Our house is 10 years old; although we have only lived here 4 years I do not believe the septic was ever pumped. He quickly located the tank and began his work. I didn't realize that he was going to have to dig up two decent sized holes in my yard (approx. 3' x 3' each), but when he was finished he replaced all the dirt and sod and the yard barely looked as if it had been disturbed.

I was searching for someone to pump my dual stage septic tank. Most places had an initally lower price but then it was followed by an asterik. I saw all of the great reviews on Angies List about Advanced Septic and called them. A neighbor down the street had used someone different last year and they charged them double( 700.00) because it was a dual stage tank. When I spoke with Clifford at Advanced Septic, I asked him if this would cost more. He said that it did not matter if it was a dual stage septic tank or not. The price is based on the amount of gallons and mine being a 1000 gallon capacity would be 300.00. He showed up on time. He was very courteous and professional. He only used a probe and a shovel to dig up the tank. He does this to cause as little disruption as possible to your yard. He parked on the street and had enough pipe to reach the tank. He did an excellent job! The reviews about this company on Angies list are 100% on target. Again, did I mention that he did an excellent job. A big Thank You to Clifford at Advanced Septic and of course - Thanks Angie! Seriously, because of the great reviews on Angie's list, I got someone who came and did a great job and did not try to rip me off!

It went well. He got here on time, he answered all my questions, explained what he was doing and what we needed to do to keep the septic working well. He did well in covering it up too.

We bought the house in June 2011. The sellers never had the septic pumped. We didnt know if it had ever been pumped. When Cliff showed up, he was able to locate the tank. He pumped the tank which was very full. It had never been pumped in the 15 years that the house was built. He stated that we had about another year and then we would have had problems. Thank you for a job well done!!!

They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. I didn't know where the tank was but they found it very quickly. They charged me the price they quoted me on the phone even though my tank turned out to be very overdue for a service. They left the yard in good shape and I was very pleased with their service. They gave me good advice for future care of the septic tank, too.

I had previously had another company out to my home to attempt to locate my septic tank. So, I made sure that my expectations were communicated to Advanced Septic prior to engaging them. I told the representative (on the phone) that I did not know the location of the septic tank, that I had moved into the house about 2 years ago, and that I was concerned that the tank might be full and require cleaning. Advanced Septic obtained a sketch drawing that showed the approximate location of my septic tank. When the technician arrived, he showed me the drawing and proceeded to locate the septic tank using a probing tool. After he expertly marked the corners of the tank, he began shoveling the dirt (by hand) to expose the cover of the septic tank. My tank is old and does not have any access holes on the top, so the entire lid needed to be removed. The technician worked tirelessly, in the blazing Georgia sun and heat. I provided him with cold water, and asked him multiple questions about what he was doing and why he was doing it. He answered all my questions politely, all the while never stopping with his work. He produced a tool that he had created to facilitate the removal of the septic tank lid, got the lid off the tank, and proceeded to empty the tank. The service was excellent, with minimal disruption to my back yard. The service call was also quite timely, and the technician showed up precisely when he said he would. I was very happy with the service, with the technician, and with the company. I would definitely recommend Advanced Septic to anyone with septic tank issues.

Called for an appointment. Appointment scheduled. Company employee was on-time (actually a bit early). Was very knowledgeable. Had a written document showing the location of the septic and all associated equipment. tested all systems. Ran water inside to be sure it was flowing cleanly. Tested alarms. Employee was very friendly and explained everything. Also had advice on future service requirements. Would absolutely use again.

I have a septic tank at my house and I was experiencing some issues with it flooding into my yard. It turns out the septic tank was completely full. I called a few different companies to look into this issue and Advanced Septic was by far the most helpful AND best priced. They came out to my house with a tractor and dug up my septic tank (it was three feet underground), they pumped my septic tank out, and they added a riser onto my septic tank so we don't have to dig it up again for maintenance. Every other company I called wanted to do a lot of additional work at a much higher cost rather than just see if pumping the tank would fix the issue. I really appreciate the fact that Advanced Septic was willing to help me figure out the most cost effective way to handle this issue. I will use them again in the future.

Advanced Septic did an excellent job with my septic service. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgable and polite. He didn't try to sell extras but just informed me about new and different things available in the future. I have my tank cleaned every three years and I wish I had found Advanced Septic earlier. In the past I had been hoodwinked by other septic cleaners. I will now refer and use only Advanced Septic in the future.

I bought my house 6 months ago. The home inspector had some questions about the septic tank. The guys we had certified it assured us there was nothing to worry about. My septic alarm went of sporadically about 3 months after buying the house. After it began to stay on I called advanced septic based on the great reviews here on Angie's list. I actually signed up to find a septic person. When he came out, he explained pretty much everything I ever wondered about septic tanks. I was surprised to find a young college educated septic worker. He told me the company is family run and that he and his father do almost all of the work. He told me that the mostly install septic systems but do repair them. I have a pump up type septic tank that was not installed up to code. The electrical outlet was steel and in the tank. It had corroded the pump plug. He also found that the pump was too small for the tank size. Not to mention he showed me where someone, an amateur (probably the original homeowner), went in and tried to jerry rig the cables to stop the alarm temporarily. After rewiring the tank and pump we discovered that the people who pumped and certified the tank had cut the line with the backhoe. He the ran a new power line to the septic tank from the house. He spent about 4 hours fixing my issue. The $400 covered the new pump, new power line, new plastic outlet (placed outside the pumping tank), and labor. I would highly recommend advanced septic to anyone.

Dart was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He worked with us, with our insurance adjuster, and with the county and had no problems on any front. He arranged to dig up the hardline with the insurance adjuster present to determine the cause of the damage, which meant that our insurance covered the entire bill less a $150 deductible, which was great for us. He completed all of the work in less than a week, even accounting for delays waiting for the county and for the adjuster to have an opening in his schedule. The tank was pumped to allow the work to be done, Dart's men hand-dug the hard line to ensure that they did not cause any of the damage that the adjuster saw, helping with the claim, and they used power tools to dig the new drain field that the county required us to put in. They did all their own clearing and cleanup, and left the yard in a state where it was still attractive and useable, which was impressive considering that they had to dig up almost half of the useable space to put in the new field. Although the $3500 price seemed to be extremely competitive from the other quotes we received on this job, Dart was the only provider willing to work with the insurance company, and that was really important to us. I had been putting off having our septic tank pumped since we had never had this done before. I called Advanced Septic late one afternoon and left a message; someone returned my call first thing the next day. The man who called scheduled for someone to come out between 1 and 3 that very same afternoon. The person arrived a few minutes before 1 and was completely finished by around 2:30. The work was done quickly and efficiently on a very hot July afternoon. I was very impressed by both the response time and the quality of the work.

We will most likely have them install the long-term fix due to their excellent performance on the cleaning.
