Archer Restoration Services failed to provide service during our water damage experience. Water mitigation started quickly but the crew had little respect for the undamaged property and did nothing to explain what the process would be. After the first day there was a different crew during each visit and no consistency in their words or acton. we were expecting visitors three weeks after the event and the various crews and the office said they could not see a problem with completing the work in that length of time. The final completion was eight weeks later! Repeted calls to the offce were never returned and promissed information was never provided until an E-Mail threatening to cancel the project was sent.the Physical restoration work was minimal but the workmanship was poor and required us to call the office and have the work redone. The carpet installers from MODA floors and interiors were extremely rude, told me I could not have a say in the way things were handled, mistreated our furniture, spilled ink on previously undamaged carpet and did such a poor job of seaming that they had to return and reinstall some carpet. The project manager did not return phone calls, missed several appointments, and was a perfect example of the lack of customer support provided by the entire company. The project was completed and paiement in full has been made as of 30 August.

REALLY bad experience. They tore up 70 sq feet of the hard wood, and removed 1/3rd of the wall to fully dry out the inside of the drywall....but then left me hanging for 2+ weeks without getting anywhere close to finalizing or even communicating when the repairs would be completed. I left multiple messages for several people in their office, including the repair manager. All I received was silence. I had no choice but to contact another drywall company and wood flooring company to finish the repairs since my tenant who was in the property was threatening to sue me because of all the delays. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Customer service is everything in this type of industry, and they fully earned their F grade in my book.
Description of Work: Waste line leak in the plumbing behind a wall required plumbing repair (separate repair company) and restoration / mitigation work (due to the Category 3 water leak). Archer Services recommended by my plumber, so I had them come in to do the mitigation and full restoration/repair of damaged flooring, drywall, etc.

Our insurance company only partly paid A Archer SVC Company for their service and we had to pay the remainder. I though that their prices were exorbitant for what they did. All they did was that they put in a couple of fans over the damaged carpets for a few weeks and dried them out. I felt like the entire system with the insurance company and A Archer SVC Company was a scam. They dried the carpets out with the fans and the dehumidifier. They did not remove the carpets or reinstall new ones. They applied some anti-mold over the moulds on the walls. They did not attempt to remove or cut out the area where the moulds had grown out. I called them back when I saw that the easy kill they used had done nothing to the moulds but they didn’t care to get back to me. We had to hire someone else to fix that. A Archer SVC Company showed no interest in helping us. I would never use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used A Archer SVC Company for carpet cleaning services in June 2006. Our carpets had got soaked and damaged from the rain because of our bad roof. So A Archer SVC Company was recommended by our insurance company to fix the damage.
