the pool was damaged as reported before, but not by viking. The installer has now acknowledged it was his crew. Viking is participating in the repair, for which i am grateful

I would never ever suggest anybody to use Viking pools. I went with them because they were national and everybody knows Viking Pools. I called them and they sent me a subcontractor. The subcontractor did the work. He did quality work but it took him a year to put the pool in. Then he put a heater that was old and he put it from another job. It broke and I had to replace it. He put glass tile work on my pool and I spent $1000 on it. The next day his concrete guy came and there was all dirt behind my glass tile. Then I called Viking Pools and complained. They told me that they just warranty the pool and that they are not the installers. I told them that they sent the installer over to my house. They sent me the disclaimer and told me no. They do the pools but I guess they get any dick or harry to install the pool. It was a horrible experience. I went online because I hear all these horror stories and I didn’t want to deal with a horror story. I ended up getting a horror story. They started 2 years ago in June and it took them over a year to complete it. I was screaming and fighting the whole way. The guy came may be once a month to work on the pool. When he dug the pool, he put the pool 4 inches too high. I was going to have French doors to go on to the pool, I couldn’t because he had the pool too high and I couldn’t open the doors. The guy came and he told me originally the pool was going to cost $23,000. I thought that everything would be included. I told him that this is with the pool totally done and he said yes. I never had a pool before. Then I had to pay for the deck. It was just a coping around the pool. It ended up costing me $70,000 by the time the job was done and to get it done right. He broke my sprinkler system when he was digging. It was the worst nightmare. I called Viking Pools and they told me that they were the subcontractors. They didn’t take any responsibility and they sent me the contract which states that. There was nothing I could do about it. I love the glass tile and because it is glass, I can see through it. I can see all the dirt behind the tile. It would probably cost me $30,000 to take it all off and another $2,000 to reinstall it. So $5,000 to have my tile cleaned. I am stuck with it and I am living with it. I went on their website and they had really good reviews. It’s their website and they can put whatever they want on their website. I learnt a lot through this experience. The guy said the pool had a life time warranty but nothing else; the actual shell of the pool that’s all that is really stated. He was so sneaky about it.
